Ordered a couple of kids build your own taco meals. Everything looked pretty good, but my girls who appreciate food we disappointed in the dry undercooked rice. Rice is something we have to rotate in our diets, so when we eat it, it is quite a treat, so I was surprised when they left it on their plate. Service was great. read more

This location has gone DOWN HILL! Wow, never again. I know Chipotle is not the cheapest option so the employees should at least be kind. I walked in last night and ordered a bowl and two kids quesadillas. My daughter who is 12 (not a college sized man) opened her bowl and said "that's it, should have ordered double meat" now we have to pay double to receive the same amount we always have? The woman didn't even fill the rice or beans proportionately. You could see the paper bowl all around the rice! She needed a good meal between 4 hours of sports. Sadly, unless they change this is no longer an option for us. Oh, and they screwed up the two kids quesadillas . Now that's hard to do! Oh, and the grill was filthy! Quick food. Great burrito bowl. They don't skimp on the portions at all. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl. I had to salt it a little but that just means I got to flavor it to my own liking, which works for me. The hot salsa is hot, so wusses beware (I'm a self proclaimed wuss). I tried out their carne asada hard shelled tacos and ordered a burrito to take home to eat for later. My crony got a barbacoa bowl with chips & guac. Our whole order came out to $40.55. First time eating at this location since moving from Seattle. Good food is hard to find in AZ but for a fast service place in a mall, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, price and customer service from the front end staff. From what I can tell it's a bunch of teens or young 20s but each one was happy to help and chat and allowed me to order a kids meal without hesitation. The kids meal was $5 and fed me twice with the generous portioned sides. I munched on 2 fresh crispy corn tacos filled with all the good stuff PLUS a bag of chips! Minted rice, grilled veggies, corn salsa, pico, sour cream, steak, lettuce and black beans - for ONLY $5! I'll be back for sure! read more

Thankful for this Chipotle in the mall as it is the only gluten free food option I have! It allows me to sit and eat with my sister and for that I am grateful. These days, I get a veggie bowl - pinto beans, rice, guac, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese, sour cream. It is so good!! I'm embarrassed to say this but I find their salsas too spicy for me, especially the red one. So I usually just get pico on my bowl and that's more than enough flavor for me! I have not been to a Chipolte since all the food borne illness linked to them a couple of years ago. Thought I would give them a try again and did. I should have read the Yelp reviews first. All the meats on the menu had grizzle and fat. Whomever is preparing their beef and pork are paying no attention to the meat when they trim it before cooking. I don't think you should expect much from a mall food court Chipotle, I got what I expected. There were a few hiccups in the whole assembly line. Such as, they were rushing the orders behind mine putting items that wasn't mine in my bag and forgetting my sides when I was paying. The water tasted funky and the chicken was way too salty. I like the chain and the quality of the food. The staff was friendly and quick. I gave three stars because of them being cheap with the meats. They gave normal scoops for the beans and rice. However, when it came to the meat, they pinched a small amount and stretched it out to make it look like it covered. I noticed they did this with everyone. Normally, when I go to Chipotle, I get two or three times as much so you can taste the meat in eat bite. Seems like management has instructed them to go cheap on the meats to save money. We have eaten chipotle a lot! This is disappointing today. The servers were unfriendly, my daughter had guacamole and chips. In the small bag of kids chips she received only 4 chips! My go to place to eat at whenever I'm at the Arrowhead mall. Food is good, service is quick and the price is also reasonable. Located in the upper level of the mall in the food court, this Chipotle offers the same items at a stand alone restaurant. Usually when I come here, I come at opening so I don't usually deal with lines of people. If I do come later in the day and their is a line, it moves quickly as the people making your food work quickly. The staff here are always happy and very accommodating to their customers. They make your food how you like it and always repeat your order before making it to make sure they understood you correctly. I've had the burrito, burrito bowl and the chicken quesadilla. All of them were very tasty. They do offer large portions and I am more then full whenever I eat here. I usually pay around $9 here if I get a drink otherwise it's more like $7. We frequent other Chipotle locations often. Sadly, this one did not deliver the consistent experience we've had in the past, at other locations. The staff was disorganized and the food was inconsistent. They didn't have the food trays for the kids' meals, so my daughter didn't like her build-your-own taco plate delivered in a bowl. My son ordered root beer and it visibly had no syrup. I told the cashier, Rosa, and she rolled her eyes, grabbed the cup and said "you want to pick something else?" In the most rude, snotty teenager voice I've ever heard. She acted completely inconvenienced and like it was my fault that the syrup ran out! And there was no offer for me to wait while she rectified the problem. There was no apology for my inconvenience. In fact, I asked for the manager. April came and started to give me some rote apology on behalf of Rosa with barely listening to what had just transpired. Apparently, she's been trained to always apologize and then it will make the customer go away. That is not good enough! It was not sincere. I told her I expected Rosa to own how she behaved so rudely to me and she should be the one to apologize. She then told Rosa to apologize and Rosa said, sarcastically, "I'm sorry you feel that I was rude." No way. She qualified her apology and continued to be rude. I told her I'm calling th corporate offices, which I intend to do. Her response was "Call corporate then." Wow. How does someone like this even have a job!!?? Arrowhead gm would rather argue with you that they do charge for salsa (which I have never had to pay for a side of salsa with your food) in front of a large line Of customers for a 1 oz side of chicken for $2.59 and have you cancel your order because on top of $2.59 charge you for 1oz Of salsathan just let you have the salsa. Then tell me if I want to order something else I'd have to get in at the end of line to Order knowing that I'm a mall employee and have to get back to work.
