Ok, first time here on a Saturday morning for breakfast around 9:30 and we were the only people here, don't understand it and here is why. My wife read that they have Gallina Pinta caldo and she has never seen it before at a Mexican food restaurant and she grew up with this so we to try it. She said it was "damned good" her words lol. We tried their red beef tamales and they were delicious, I'm picky about masa and these were very good. I had chorizo and eggs and the chorizo was not greasy and was very flavorful. They are served with homemade potatoes and breads which were very good as well. Their "Early Bird" breakfast special is unbeatable. Scrambled eggs, homemade potatoes, pancakes and bacon for only $6.95, yes, I said only $6.95. We need to blow this place up with customers so please spread the word.

First time at Don Juan's Mexican Grill in Downtown Glendale. What a pleasant surprise! Ordered a cheese quesadilla with green chile strips to share with offspring. Served with a side of guac and sour cream. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Complimentary chips with both red and green salsa. The green salsa has onion and celantro and a bit milder. We ordered two red chili burritos, a bean and cheese burrito, and two shredded beef soft shell tacos to go for the rest of the crew. All were very good. The red chili burritos had tender chunks of beef. Sofia was out server and was great. Place was clean and had an open airy dining space. Lots of local folks dining for Sunday lunch. All good here!

Walking through Glendale we stumbled on my new favorite Mexican restaurant. It's very small, brightly lit and clean. The service has been great aside from some staff members that were "new" and couldn't answer our questions. The food is absolutely delicious. We've been back three times and have always loved the food. I get the fajitas, my son got the nachos, and even the French fries from my younger sons kids meal were outstanding. My wife's flautas were nice crispy and delicious. Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is located nestled around lots of little stores and we've enjoyed spending the day around this restaurant. Definitely check it out if you are a fan of Mexican food.

The Chicken Fajitas were delicious with homemade tortillas. Service was great! We will be back!

We originally came down to eat at Cuff but they happened to be closed. It's located in downtown Glendale and a nice cozy spot. Service was friendly and we were served chips and salsa as soon as we sat. We ordered a caldo de pollo and pollo fundido. The food was ready fairly quickly and was nice and hot. The soup had plenty of veggies and 1 chicken drumstick. The broth unfortunately didn't have much flavor. The pollo fundido chicken while it was breast meat didn't have much flavor either. The beans were okay and the rice again not much flavor. Overall it might've just been our taste buds but neither of us were wowed by the food. Still happy to come support a local small business. Come give them a try as a lot others really enjoy it!

We were pleasantly surprised by this Mexican restaurant on 83rd Ave. and Peoria. It's a large…read morebuilding with lots of seating at booth tables and bar area. Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

When requesting a table she stated there were only 2 servers and that the tables were not in their "section" which was only 4 feet from the booths! Stupidity at epic levels! We turned around and left after wasting 10 minutes. Eat at Firebirds across the street for better food, service and a hostess with brains!

Are the they best nachos? No. Are they very good nachos? Absolutely, but you have to ask them to use shredded cheese instead of the queso. Shredded cheese is objectively better than queso on nachos and how Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya originally made them over 80 years ago. (I literally just learned about him today) My wife always gets a chimichanga and loves them. Again probably a four star chimichanga. My absolute favorite thing about Caramba's? The Primo margarita. Oh. My. God. It's possibly my favorite margarita ever. They're a little too strong for my wife, but in my opinion, seriously one of the best margaritas I've ever had. It's probably best that we don't have a location closer to our house because I'd be eating nachos and drinking Primo margaritas at least weekly. It's a family favorite as well. The kids always get mini chimis and horchata and love it. The service is always good. The food is better than average. The prices are great. I can't wait to go back.
