Our food (3 bowls) was supposed to be delivered by 8:33. By 9:00 the grub hub driver still had not picked it up. We had prepaid and gave good tip. We called restaurant. They said driver had not picked it up and would not return. Our only option was to go get it ourselves. They would not give refund. We drove to pick it up. They would not even refund the driver gratuity and delivery fee we had paid on the app. At 9:50, while we were eating our cold food, another driver called because he had been assigned our order. We told him we had just picked it up. On top of this, Chipotle messed up all of our orders pretty badly, and one bowl seemed half sized. And it was cold from sitting on the shelf at restaurant for over an hour. Terrible. Terrible. Never again. They should give me full refund! read more

Could not BELIEVE the service I got today when ordering tacos. The person at the counter obviously has not been properly trained, and doesn't know the difference between tacos and nachos. They put all the ingredients randomly on TOP of the tacos, as opposed to INSIDE where they belong, and when I asked if they could put them inside the tacos, I was met with a huffy attitude. This Chipotle is always busy with a huge line, but always satisfying! The staff there is extremely kind and attentive. I've never had a problem with the cleanliness of the store. I was pretty freakin excited when I saw the Chipotle open up its one of the few fast food like chains that I recognize from living back in Texas so naturally I jumped at the chance to go there. But I was quite disappointed by a number of things as I was going down the food line. First of all let me just say that I got a burrito bowl so no burrito folding needed so that being said I was ready for them to pile on the toppings but the one topping I was looking forward to getting , the corn that bites back, was not the same color of all the other chipotle's that I've been to. *Disclaimer: I have been to quite a few all over the DFW and Houston TX area* l didn't think that their corn was supposed to look as white as it did. Thankfully nothing what I got on my bowl didn't look or taste funky. My boyfriend, however, did wind up getting a burrito and for some reason the woman who was folding his up broke it....I mean it was beyond hiding and repair, to the point where she asked him if he would either like a bowl or another layer of bread. Maybe some employee's need some more training? Maybe she just had an off day, who knows but we were sorely disappointing by the state of his burrito. Another thing to note, and this isn't official but its the only thing that makes sense was that night my boyfriend was really sick. This was the last meal we both had where we ate different things and didn't share. I have no idea what it could have been because we got really similar things in our food with the exception of two or three differences. But his stomach was doing cartwheels for a good portion of the night. I've eaten food from here twice now, and have been disappointed both times. First time was barbacoa hard tacos - which were a wet, falling apart mess and I gave up and threw them away after 3/4 bites - not worth the effort. Second time - beef burrito to go - another wet, soggy mess which had to be double wrapped and placed in a bowl. There was not a lot of steak which is just as well because the meat was tough, stringy and a great snack for my dog. I guess I'm too old to appreciate the hipster decor and vibe. Normally we have a good experience here. But today, somehow, they were out of hard shell tacos, queso, 2 flavors of soda and at least 2 other things which I heard them mention to other customers. This wasn't close to close or right after opening or any other time where something could possibly be unavailable. This was at noon. The place is usually messy, but this was an odd day. I am so excited to see that a Chipotle finally opened up in Amherst vicinity, considering that we do not have any decent Mexican style healthy food in the area...please don't say Bueno Y Sano as it's the most tasteless ever. I agree that the staff is overwhelmed but that is only because they have just opened up and are not quite experienced for the free style that this place offers. I completely disagree with the other reviewers saying that they do not get enough food, as every time I have been to this location they have piled up on the toppings on my Burritos/Burrito bowls. Knowing that I have eaten in many other states and in many out of state locations, I can say that this is the most I have received in a portion...it is simply enough for two. It's a good comfy place to gather with friends, have good quality food with a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. read more

More people in the store waiting for their orders than would allow for 6 foot spacing... No employees acknowledged a single person waiting to order or to pick up an order..... One person making what would have had to be 20 orders..... And imo he shouldn't have been doing that because he seemed incapable of putting an order or in less than 10 min.... One guy stood there dabbing the steam table with a towel... Being in the way of the ONE incompetent person actually trying to put out orders..... Your management is a joke... The way your utilize your employees... Joke... Your attitude... Joke.... If your need to be Somewhere within an hour or 2 don't order here you'll never make it to your plans..... I also do good delivery.... Don't plan on making much money if you take the orders from here.... You'll stand and wait for at least 20 30 min.... The staff and management are incompetent and shouldn't be running a restaurant.... If you think you're girl Stephanie has the chops to manage your store you should reevaluate.... This review is based on two visits in a 3 day period. Both visits the food was really good. No complaints there. My first visit it was very busy the line was nearly out the door. Speed of service wasn't bad but the employee making my food was absolutely rude. My second visit the store was nearly empty, maybe 3-4 other customers. There were 6 employees working but the lobby was a mess. There wasn't one clean table. I grabbed a few extra napkins to wipe down my own table and an employee just watched me and did nothing. I spent around 20 minutes in the store eating and checking some emails on my phone and while I was there not a single table was cleaned by anyone of the employees just standing around. read more

When my wife & I were first dating, she suggested going to Chipotle. This was when we lived in Cambridge and had a ton of options, I was surprised that she would suggest Chipotle over El Pelon. Well, we went, and thus began my love affair with this place. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when I caught wind that they were opening one in Hadley, down the street from my job. Specifically to this location, the staff is always friendly, deals well with the often super-crowded dinner rushes, and is sensitive to dietary restrictions or allergies. Not specific to this place, the guac is fantastic, the chips are the best, and SOFRITAS! I'll continue going to Bueno Y Sano, also, but Chipotle's burritos are different. Not in the same league, and really, to me they don't compete with each other. You either want one or the other. read more

I feel like I've been poisoned. I got a Barbacoa pulled pork burrito with lettuce, sour cream, cheese and basically the works. I don't know which ingredient got me sick but it was terrible. I was vomiting all night and am still feeling cramps and nausea. I would advise people to not go to this chipotle at all like myself. If not please safeguard yourself from the pulled pork. I'm a supporter of this food chain because they have ton of locations and are vegan friendly. However one visit to this particular location was a turn off. While in line waiting to have my burrito made, a fly landed right in the person's wrap in front of me. The customer and the Chipotle associate both witnessed it, said nothing, and the associate continued to prepare the burrito. I was in complete shock. It's in a college town, so when the semester is on-going expect very long lines, long wait times, and lots of college aged kids who like to be loud and make messes. Either go when the semester is over or at non-peak hours, the employees can only do so much with a non-stop flow of customers for 5+ hours. Otherwise, all the times I've been here (which, being honest, is a lot!) I've loved it. The only other location I've been to is in Chicopee and their staff isn't as nice, and they're more likely to burn or under-cook their product.My only complaint, and I don't know if this is done on purpose (why would it?) but it seems all the lights above the tables flicker in and out at random. Kind of annoying when eating to have it suddenly get dark. Would also be nice if they had a bigger location to add more seating. read more

This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I've gotten food from there a total of three times. The first time I went, they didn't have any white rice, which I personally consider a crucial ingredient in anything I would want to order from Chipotle. The second time I went, they had white rice, but the staff was rude and all the of the ingredients tasted subpar. The third time I ordered it through DoorDash. After about 40 minutes of waiting, I got a call from my delivery driver. She told me that she had been waiting outside of the chipotle for 15 minutes waiting for the order to be made. After talking to them about the order, my driver told me that they didn't have any white rice to fulfill the order with. I then asked her to get brown rice instead. She then went to talk to the chipotle employees and they told her that they didn't have any kind of rice. If you stand in line to order, lucky is any white dude ordering anything. The white servers load up his burrito or bowl. If you're black or brown like me, you'll get half of the white dude for the same price. To add injury to insult, the white servers will call you "sir" to rub it they robbed you blue. I didn't complain because they'll call the cops who could maim or kill you just for requesting equal service. Not worth it. So the next day, I wanted what the white dudes get: the normal full serving. How can I get that? Order online, of course: They can't see what you look like! When I picked it up, it was loaded to the brim. So, here's a tip, black and brown brothers and sisters: Sit in the parking lot and order online. Use European names or something. That way, you won't get served half. Their rice is never fully cooked. I take it home, add water, and stick in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. It's a way to survive their undercooked food and race-based portion sizes. read more

I've had Chipotle a couple times before going to this location. It has always been alright never really a place that I would go out of my way to go to. This time that I went to Chipotle it was busy busy. Tables were filled with people and trash. The line was long and people had to wait for certain items . Understandable since there was a lot of customers. I do recommend that Chipotle increase their selections of fillings. unfortunately after this visit I got quite sick definitely some type of food poisoning not sure from what food item it was . So I probably won't be going back in fear that I might get sick again. read more

Yeah! There's finally a Chipotle within reasonable driving distance. We went a few days after they first opened. They weren't quite prepared yet, so we had to wait a few minutes. On the plus side, they comped our meal as well as giving us each a free coupon for a free burrito for the next visit. That's how you do customer service. As far as the food is concerned, it is what you expect from a Chipotle. A huge overstuffed burrito with lime cilantro rice, cheese, sour cream and your choice of salsa and meats. We really like chipotle and grab quick lunches there on the weekends when out running errands. We have never had a bad experience before today. This chipotle location only has two high chairs for the entire restaurant...both happened to be in use when we got our food so I had to hold our one year old while trying to eat. Not the easiest situation with a curious one year old. I even asked if they had any more high chairs since they were all in use and they said no, but no one apologized or even offered to help figure out a solution. read more

My girlfriend and I are HUGE Chipotle fans, so we were extremely excited to hear one was opening in Hadley, about a 10 minute drive from our house in Amherst. This location, however, was a MASSIVE disappointment. We watched in horror as three separate employees struggled to roll a burrito without success. They eventually settled for a half-rolled mess and double wrapped it in foil. We asked for a new burrito and AGAIN they failed to roll it into any shape resembling a burrito. Frankly, and I hate to be "that guy", but the employees were all but incompetent. Shouldn't there be some sort of burrito rolling class or seminar or something? A take DVD course? I don't know, but I think Steve Ells would be disappointed in this location. Save your money, save the hassle, there's a taco bell right next door. And if you're in the mood for a real burrito, check out Bueno Y Sano or one of the other great local places. read more
