So I have been to a bunch of different Chipotle establishments but I was the most please with the service that I received from this one. The staff was so nice I did not feel rushed at all. The portions were nice I did not have to ask for more of something. It was a little wait to get to my food but I appreciated them not yelling "hi how can I help you" when I am 3 people away from the counter. If i could, I'd give them negative stars. The kids working there had no respect for the patroons. I asked for fresh veggies and waited for them, once they brought them up, the kid scrapped the old veggies into my bowl then put new ones on. My mother wanted guacamole, some fell on the counter, he picked it up off the counter and put it in her bowl. My little sister asked for a quesadilla, the guy left it on the grill and burned it. They have a strange window off to the right where you pick up your online orders, but struggled to explain it to me and it wasn't visible from the line. It was kind of odd. Nasty place. I was craving some delicious Authentic Mexican food but nothing good pans out on this side of town. I had to give this place a shot. Their steak burritos were nasty. The meat tasted like rubber. I had to spit it out every time I took a bite. At first I thought it was a bad piece, but the whole thing? I would never be back. I have patronized this location a number of times and it is indeed the worst Chipotle I've ever encountered. I keep thinking that corporate will fix it at some point, but they have failed miserably. The faces behind the counter change but the lousy service and apathetic attitude remain. Pros -Few. I guess I could say that the cooks do a good job on the actual food prep. Cons -Often out of stock whether it be menu items or non food items. -Often behind. I've had online orders with pick up times 1.5hrs after the order was placed. -Apathetic staff "yeah we're out of dressing for the salad I just made you and I knew before I made it...so what? Buh bye! Bad service is not uncommon at any Chipotle in my experience, but this location is particularly inept. I wish Chipotle corporate would spend less time preaching about the "integrity" of their food and suppliers and more time ensuring that their own house is in order. Their evangelizing rings hollow. This my local chipotle and usually I have no complaints. However, they had a change in the staff. The employees need further training so badly. Learn how to wrap a burrito & that guac goes after lettuce so it doesn't stick to the lid!! & because of the employees lack of training, the line doesn't move nearly as fast as it used to. It's sad that this location has gone downhill so much. Plus this location runs out of things, especially guac, so often. Please train ur staff or hire new people!!!! read more

Used to be my favorite... came in on a Friday night ALL employees but 1 guy up front had the WORST attitudes girls didn't use gloves to scoop my chips (cause there wasn't any already bagged) online ordered were just thrown on the stand (some bags still open) Definitely one of worst experiences here!!! read more

Stopped in for a quick bite. It's like any other chipotle. Maybe it was a quiet time but we had no problems.

We ordered online about an hour and a half before closing on 6/10/17. When we arrived to pick up the food, they knew nothing about it. My daughter waited about ten minutes for the food and while she was standing there a few other people were also frustrated and complaining that they ordered online and it wasn't ready either. It's certainly not like the place was packed. So we get the food home and everything is stone-cold and the chips were, and I kid you not, break-a-tooth stale. We've shied away from Chipotle over the last couple years and after this debacle unless we're dying of starvation and Chipotle is the only game in town, we'll just find a Moe's where they get it right everytime. read more

Lines are quick and easy to get through especially when your hungry from the amazing smell. The employees are phenomenal. I get pick up orders from here all the time and I'm always greeted with a friendly face. Today the two ladies that were fulfilling my order went above and beyond and even asked me how my day was and made great small talk. Always a returning customer that's highly satisfied! read more

The food is okay for the most part. I go to this chipotle all the time because it's the only one in Hagerstown. The weather is very nice today and I happened to be wearing a very low cut shirt and the cashier made mention to how it was "cold" and my nipples looked hard. I don't know why that was any of her business or anything that she felt like she needed to point out but, she definitely gets a 2 out of 10 for customer service. I'm more than disappointed. Stopped in for a bite, while waiting on the line, I can see the lady who is frying the chips eating the chips, in front of another coworker, out the container of already prepared chips not changing her glove once. Oh let's not forget wiping her sweat with the same forearm that's going into the container she is eating from. Then to top it off you have this other female worker that has a pink ponytail slamming containers, and the spoons because she is frustrated about the amount of side sauces wanted on a call in order. So now her negative energy is going into the food. The last time I remembered you pay extra for everything at Chipotle so, what are you mad about! I wish the original staff that was in place when they first opened was still there. When they left I took a long break, now I won't go back! Love Chipotle, I'm a big fan however the one in Hagerstown has been disappointing in the last few months. Almost every time I go they are out of something. The other night it was chips and lettuce and carnitas. It was only 8 pm they're open for another 2 hours. The other guests behind me were upset too. This is a frequent thing with the one in Hagerstown 9 times out of 10 they aren't out of it, just "not making anymore". At least that's what one of the employees told us. The food is good every once in awhile. I order online a lot for work, and they make you wait forever to pick up your food. I got a burrito bowl for a pick-up order one time and when I opened it, it looked like it was half eaten. The container was basically empty. I've been to more organized locations, but this one is the only option in Hagerstown. read more

I've eaten here 2/5 times I've been to this location. The other 3 times, I've gotten to the door and immediately turned around and went elsewhere. There's consistently a line out the door, even at 9 o'clock at night which is baffling.. You could blame it on the customers, but I've seen firsthand that it takes them 5 minutes to serve 2 people. Chipotle is good and all, but I'm not going to wait in a line 30-45 minutes for fast food.. Lol. The times I did eat here the food was good and the staff was friendly, but holy hell, they need to pick up the pace. I've given them a few chances and I probably won't be back. There's a place next door called Jersey Mikes that has delicious subs that will serve you in under 5 minutes. If you're in the area I'd recommend that place instead. read more

Okay, so i'm pretty much frequenting this location every weekend because my boyfriend has an extremely unhealthy obsession with their burritos. I like Chipotle as a restaurant, but this location is the worst. We always order online and go pick it up because having to stand in the line that is always out the door is not how i want to spend my Saturday nights. I don't understand why when I go to order it online, the wait time is ALWAYS an hour or more??!!?! When I order pickup from Chipotle in Frederick, it is VERY rare that I have to wait that long. I may as well just go inside and wait in line. Also, half the time when I go to pick it up, it's never ready, they are always JUST starting to make it by the time I get there. Sometimes, it's because it's busy but other times, there's hardly anyone there, so there's no excuse for that. The employees are friendly, which makes it a little better, but not much. Getting to the food, I almost never have a problem with screwups with my order, which is a good thing. There was only one occasion where I got to the restaurant and they made a bowl instead of a burrito like I had ordered, but it was quickly rectified. The food is always up to par as far as taste and temperature. I just wish they would get their act together as far as service goes, which is why i cannot give them any higher of a rating. read more

The company is so cheap they pass off their unfinished app so badly that I can't even use it for its only function, to order food online. Called them to place my order over the phone and was met with a rude woman who told me I couldn't order over the phone, something I've done many times before when their mentally challenged app doesn't perform its only duty. read more

I never tried Chipotle till today. I was so disgusted by the burrito I tasted. I order a burrito with white rice, steak, sour cream, tomatoes, and lettuce. The white rice was the only problem I had. The white rice tasted like dish soap. I tasted as if after the employees washed their hands with dish soap and touched rice. I enjoyed the meat and everything else but every bite I take it was soapy and I had to spit my food out a lot and throw it away. read more

The food quality and even the price-- 5 Stars!!! The physical presentation is bad, especially OUTSIDE. The outside patio is always neglected and the ground is always dirty and terribly stained. Once, I went inside and asked them to come clean it because people are eating out there. They looked like I was talking crazy and sent someone out who did not look down, simply picked up a bit of trash near the door. There needs to be someone who comes out often and wipes the tables and sweeps. At the end of the day they need to treat the ground with a wet solution. Also, ordering on- line ordering is disatrous! Terrible... I've eaten here over the years quite frequently and the past 2 years every time I take a chance on them they've let me down. Almost always inconsistent with how it tastes. On numerous occasions I watched my burrito that I hold near and dear to my heart maimed and brutally assaulted while being wrapped... on sed occasions I've been served torn burritos and this was done right in front of me and I was smiled at while given the food like nothing was wrong.. it's not right and i had a sense of felling like they were fine with how they complete their job. I love Chipotle, but I absolutely despise the Hagerstown location. This is the slowest, most inefficient, poorly managed, Chipotle I've ever been too! Consistently takes 40 minutes or longer to get through the line, since they can barely manage to serve two customers in five minutes. It's faster to drive 20 minutes to the Chambersburg location and eat there, than it is to suffer through the unnecessary line in Hagerstown. If I never go to the Hagerstown Chipotle again, it'll be too soon. BTW, I had time to download the Yelp app on my phone, reset my password, and write this review while standing in line... The chipotle at garland groh sucks! The food is good but the service is horrible. First time I ordered online and there were people getting their food while our order wasn't even made..which is fine I don't mind waiting so much. Second time i got charged for something I didn't get. Third all I had was a 50 and the cashier said she didn't have change which ik your lying. I will never go back. I love chipotle but this store is a hot mess!!!!! Their food is fine... Their service SUCKS! I've given them soo many chances and I have had enough. I usually order ahead these days because I know that usually there's a huge line because their prep line is soooo slow. I ordered ahead I walked in the door 5 minutes after pick up hoping I wouldn't have to wait like I do if I show up on time. The people who showed up 2 minutes after I did received their food before I ever did!!!! I proceeded to wait an additional 12 minutes from the time I walked in for my order!!!!!! I've also been ignored several different times waiting at the register to pay for my order ahead. A few years ago this was one of the best chipotles I had been to. This Chipotle specifically has told their employees to not give a military discount. They offer a police discount but the woman behind the register told me they were told by their management to not extend this to military. I don't expect a discount when I go out to eat. It is a nice bonus. But i do tend to frequent places that offer it more. The Chipotle in Chambersburg does offer one. If you have the choice give them your business instead.
