This location is much better than others locations l have visited. The line wasn't exceptionally long, like l have experienced numerous times before. Such a relief. I mean, l have literally stalked past the windows in the past and if the line was extremely long, l would just drive off. I'm not into wasting my life in those lines, seriously. Any woo, as I entered the establishment, like l said, the line was not long at all. As l approach ed the counter to place my order, a pleasant young man greeted me and started to construct my burrito bowl. He was generous in serving of meat and rice, to which l was most pleased (lf you have been to different Chipotles you know what l mean). Why is there chicken in the queso, tons of cheese in the guac, and they INSIST on putting corn in every single bowl no matter whether it's specified or not. The unprofessional would be a understatement or injustice. There are several things I would love to point of that is extremely wrong . F the lobby area is visibly dirty while workings stand around aimlessly. I'm asking management to take a deep look at work place practices here . I as soon as I entered at 302pm I could tell that that this was going to be a lack luster experience. I after 5 minutes of no movement some comes out to yell in the lobby that the card machine was down and we can the option to pay cash or order online . I was a literal hesitant going to the store store but I hadn't eaten Chipotle in a while so I decided to I decided to go. I ordered my food through the app at 5:20 PM as you already know the app. Gives you an appropriate appropriate time for pick up. I arrived at the store at approximately 5:55pm And notice that my food was not on the shelving. I proceeded to ask a worker that was passed by about about my order and gave them my name. She proceeded to come back and inform me that there was no order with my name to which the cashier decided to check in the system and pricked it out my paper. She proceeded to put the paper on the wall where all the orders go. I waited in the additional 15 minutes to inquire about my order. I asked for a manager to which a young lady came never gave me her name and stated that I would be getting my food shortly. There was a young lady on the line preparing the food who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She deliberately left my food On the counter while she served the line knowing that I was waiting for my food. I proceeded to inquire about my order to to where she started screaming at me stating that she was too busy and that she had to take care of the line 1st. The way my auto was handled and the nastiness of is there a nastiness of the employees there I would never come back to Chipotle at Arundel Mills. Not only because of the experience but also because no because of the trash that was on the floor behind the counter. I wrote a nice email to the company company and all they were able to do is give me a refund. I am so disappointed. I ordered a bowl with guac (best part of the bowl) had my food delivered so I was not there to watch them make it. Instead of guac, I got a huge piece of hard avacado on top of my bowl. I choose Chipotle for their guac and chips. This is unacceptable. If you're eating at the location, it's fine. BUT if you order ahead and take it home is NEVER been good. Every once and a while my family decides to give the takeout another chance incase they fixed it and we regret it every time. They don't just forget one ingredient, they completely make a different burrito that you didn't order. It makes it so you don't even want to eat it. Tonight I made an order online for a simple burrito (steak, rice and cheese), yet when we arrived at the suggested time, Tiana, the associate, advised my daughter that it was not ready. She was not helpful as I'm sure she deals with this often based on the Yelp reviews, she stated, "I'll speak to her" and walked away.. I called her back to get her information and store number, which she hesitated to give. I visited this restaurant on 7/18 and it was the worst experience I've ever had at a chipotle and will make me second guess ever eating at one again. I placed a mobile order to be picked up at 8:30 pm and arrived to pick it up at 8:35. The food wasn't ready and the employees couldn't give two shits that it wasn't. At 9:00 I asked the idiot working the register where my food was and he looked at me and said I am going to the bathroom. WTF!!! I asked another employee and she was at least kind enough to look for my ticket that was still on the wall because the same person making on line orders was making the walk in orders. And there was no less than 7 other employees walking around and bullshitting in the back in plain sight. The employee made my two bowls without 80% of the ingredients I ordered. Then looks at me and throws the bag at me and says "we ain't got chips, go online if you want a refund". I left the restaurant at 9:11 and got home both my daughter and I took ONE BITE of the food and it was absolutely disgusting! Coincidentally we both got hair in our food on the first bite. Both bowls went into the trash! We actually went to McDonald's and had a bet,eat ! That should speak volumes alone if anyone is thinking about going to this restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! So I love chipotle. Like I love chipotle but this place, I'm visiting from sac and I go in because they were having a promo for bogo. So I'm like that's great I can get this for me and my friend. I get the bowls made and I go to the register first and foremost the lady is extremely rude. So now I've paid out-of-pocket and I've asked my sister back in Sacramento and they have honored it so I'm confused on why mine wasn't honored. To any first timer, a look at the reviews might seem a little unjust. But unfortunately I have confirmed the rumors listed, this place is buns. It's a bad day to be a chipotle customer. Upon opening my steak bowl, things seemed to be going alright. But after one bite, I was horrifically informed by my taste buds that the rice had an actual crunch to it. To make things worse, the "sautéed" veggies could've used at least another 5 minutes and the beans still had a little too much bounce for my bite. Counted five employees cleaning up on the side area near mobile ordering (but not making orders), 2-3 in kitchen and 2 while employees were making orders. 2. On a weekend during dinner rush. No management in sight. What a joke of a location. After finally getting my food and returning home? It's terrible. Literally the worst burrito I've had from them in 20 years. Burritos and the bowl were cold. Like ice cold. Cold enough to worry about food safety. Chips were terrible. Stale. Probably four days old at a minimum. Here's a few examples: - Today, couldn't go in and order, had to order online and wait outside in the parking for someone to bring food out. - Last week, doors are locked during lunch time and staff couldn't care less. I understand Covid...however, Customer service is customer service. The workers are not keeping up with making the food. The workers are not making sure to completely cover their noses especially while cooking the food. One of the workers refused to make the fajita when the front girl asked for more...that is unacceptable. Bland and spicy. Chipotle Grill advertises as a healthy place to eat, so perhaps if you're on the "Bland Food Diet" this might be your kind of thing. I'm not actually sure what my chicken salad is supposed to taste like at this point, it's so spicy - and I omitted salsa! My experience with Chipotle is mildly affected by having come here on accident. I ordered online thinking that this was Baja Fresh. I even showed up at Baja Fresh and realized I was in the wrong place. Oops. My mistake. I will not make this mistake again. First of all, they don't offer rice without cilantro in it; and I'm allergic. I asked. There is no plain, cilantro free rice kept on hand for customers with food sensitivities. Secondly, my chicken salad is drowning in guacamole and lettuce hearts. I love guacamole, and usually order extra (on the side) but this is too much for even me. It's overpowering both the rice, and the small portion of chicken. (See Photo). I feel like I'm eating an overly peppered avocado mush with rice in it. It's also incredibly spicy, so the heat lingers well after I've stopped eating and even taken a sip of my drink. This is odd because I did not include salsa of any kind in my order. Americanized Mexican food not supposed to be super spicy if there's no salsa. The chicken portion is very small, greasy, and rather flavorless. I'm used to chicken in a Mexican dish bursting with tangy flavor from all the delicious Mexican spices, deep within it's juicy meatiness due to proper marinading. The portion is absolutely half of what I get with Baja Fresh, and this includes my husbands burrito. Both are half the size of what we usually get at the other place, and the same price; which is one of the reasons I didn't think anything was wrong when I made my order online. Another point of negativity is that, while the outside of this place is nice, the inside reminds me of the cafeteria at my jr. college. It's dark and cramped and they shuffle you through a mall-food-court style line with people dishing up your pre-made food lunch lady style. I've gotten through about 1/3rd of my salad while writing this review and I have no real desire to finish this hot green mess. I'm hungry, and I spent $16, but I'm not at all tempted to eat this. It's kind of saddening really. When I'm in the mood for Mexican, it's one of my favorite foods. I feel like a little kid choking down steamed bean sprouts out of respect for the starving kids in other countries my grandma was always chiding me about. Bottom line: Go across the street to Baja Fresh, next to the Safeway. Exact same prices, a world of difference in quality, portions, and atmosphere. read more
