Never again...... this chipotle use to be my go to Chipotle until I moved. I recently went shopping in the area and decided to stop by to get a bite to eat. Long story short, as I was moving up in n the line I couldn't help but notice the nasty looking line up, food everywhere. Sour cream in the guac you pay $5 extra for, cheese in the mild salsa, rice everywhere etc. I was very selective on what I put in my bowl. I told the young lady that I wanted fresh guac because the guac they had out was not appealing. Just to think she was about to proceed and put the old guac in my bowl. She gave me fresh guac without a fuss and I appreciated that. However I will not be returning to that Chipotle. There are a surplus of young adults who work there and you can tell they are just there for the paycheck and social hour. read more

Buyer Beware I went to the Chipotle at 7049 Arundel Mills Blvd, Hanover, MD 21076 and ordered a carne asada bowl. When I saw the portion size, I immediately asked for double. Even after that, I left feeling shorted. As an experiment, I went to the nearby Chipotle at 1622 W Nursery Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 and ordered the same thing, this time without asking for extra. Interestingly, Linthicum gave me the proper portion size right away, making the Hanover experience feel downright laughable in comparison. Yes, Linthicum charges about 30 cents more, but I would rather pay that than feel shysted. read more

We honestly stopped going to Chipotle a very long time ago, when we discovered better build-you-own-bowl alternatives-based on quality & toppings options- but a gift card brought us back in...and this location's experience reminded us why we stay away. First, I attempted to place a to-go order on the app, building a bowl was delightfully easy, w.options to select "light-normal-extra-on the side" & learn nutrition, but checking out was impossible. The app doesn't easily allow gift card payments-so I had to get in line in person to place my order. Arriving at lunch time, on a Tuesday, the line was quite long, but moved fast- initially impressed by the speediness I discovered fast isn't always good- I would have rathered a slower line & better food quality. When it was my turn to order, everything was initially chaotic- the employees were not friendly; just "hurry up move on". They barely listened or looked up to see the customers- I felt like I was shouting to get my order right, still ended up with a lot of mistakes, & a skimpy bowl. The food serving station looked gross- ingredients spilled everywhere, topping containers were partially filled-resulting in 'bottom of barrel' scrapings of some choices, and staff rushed me through my choices- I ordered two items- a bowl & a burrito- I attempted to order carnitas & chicken al pastor and had to shout twice, "nope nope" as staff attempted to give me the wrong meat- then when I was finally given the right meat, they barely put anything in the bowl. I even attempted to ask "um is that it?" but they passed my order down. When I got to the toppings section, I got a lot of "bottom of the barrel" scrapings- They kept trying to push my order down to the end, I felt like I had to shout can I please have the rest of my topping choices. When I asked for sauces on the side, I was ignored as staff talked to each other resulting in sauces slopped incorrectly all over both my orders. I attempted to ask to fix it, but was ignored. In the end I ended up with a bowl of minimal rice, all water barely any beans left bean scoop, incorrect or missing toppings, and mainly all lettuce to make the bowl looked stuffed. I made many valid 'talking loud requests' to get my order correct, but figured forget it, this is why we dislike Chipotle. Can't blame understaffing, can't blame lunch time rush, just have to chalk it up to a lack of respect for the customer from the employees & Chipotle's attempt to be 'fast' over being good. I'll wait in a long line for quality Chipotle, it used to be the experience, "worth it", but this wasn't the first time I experienced the dirtiness & shotty quality making the chain less than it used to be. read more

I was starving and wanted chipotle as a quick and filling option. Boy, was I disappointed! For starters, this restaurant is located outside a major mall and casino. Cleanliness and tidiness should be a priority. The inside was so nasty and untended to, that alone should have been enough for me to not move forward with the food purchase. There wasn't not one clean table in that establishment. The counter where the food was prepared was nasty with sour cream and lettuce that I wasn't able to snap a picture of. There was even trash from other restaurants left on the table! There were no napkins or other basic essentials. When I got home I was so hungry I wanted to take just a few bites of the food despite the condition of the restaurant. The food was nasty!!! So bland, no seasoning or flavor. I will be taking a break from chipotle as a whole but I doubt I'll ever dine at this location again. read more

Here is a recent review for all the doubters. I used to come here all the time; like ALL the time. Weekly daily you name it there was a period of time when I came here all the time. They usually gave normal portions of meat, the standard 4oz or whatever and I was a bit sad that it wasn't back in the day when they gave a good amount more, but I was ok with it. Today I came and they 100% skimped me on the meat. Never before have I seen such a small portion of meat. There were literally like 6 tiny pieces of steak each the size of the tip of my pinkie, and they wanted to charge me full price. That IS NOT EVEN 4oz of steak(standard) there dude. Idk what's going on at corporate but chipotles' starting to squeeze. Like the meat quantity didn't even match my other order ordered within seconds of each other. There were two bowls in my order and one of them was significantly less than the other in terms of meat (50% less). I even picked it apart in front of the manager and counted the meat. The manager kept claiming because I "made it on the line" or "made it myself(so watching a worker make it is making myself?) and I should have seen and not been ok with the meat back there". WHY IS IT MY JOB TO PAY ATTENTION TO MAKE SURE YOURE DOING YOUR JOB CORRECTLY? I did ask for a full refund(and I didn't take the food of course) and received it; so at least that was acceptable but Jesus Christ you really need to treat your customers better. read more

Chipotle Restaurants see pretty much the same. Last night, I went with someone who had never been to one before. So, we explained the concept and process and, of course, it's simple enough. Unfortunately, we also had to explain that chipotles are often just plain messy. This one was no different. From dirty tables to overflowing trash cans, I was kind of embarrassed to take someone there. As for the food, it was fine. However, mid-order, they decided to refresh all the pans and work just stop. Nobody acknowledged us in line and we just stood there with half a burrito or bowl getting cold. When they resumed, again, no acknowledgement of the delay and they resumed rushing everyone through the line in chipotle style. They have me barley any rice, i got barley any meat and when I asked for just a little more, I got charged the extra 4 dollars for extra meat even though it was half the meat I usually get at my normal chiptole. Worst chipotle location that I have never been to. The first time that I went they were out of dressing for their salad. The second time that I came they were out of lettuce. And then the third time I came they were out of fajita and black beans. It is obvious that the reasoning that they are always out of something is because the employees just do not care and do not try to do the bare minimum of keeping their stations stocked. The workers are not friendly and do not care at all that they are out of ingredients. If they had some sign saying out of lettuce or out of fajitas I would go somewhere else for my meal. I love Chipotle but the service & good quality is hit or miss here. It was pretty busy today and the line was all the way to the door when I came in, not including a handful of Door dash people waiting to pick up orders too. The first server preps your burrito or bowl with rice and meat before sliding it down to the next person. Normally, that's fine. But in this case there was a hold up so there were 7 prepped orders just sitting out in the open on the counter waiting for additional toppings. Some had been sitting out for 5 mins or more to get cold. The customer who's food has been sitting out the longest asked for her order to get remade with fresh ingredients and there was a 2 min ordeal between the workers before she got her request. The drink/utensils station was not stocked after customers recited their orders so they had to go back & ask for those items at the register. read more

This Chipotle is on the same grounds as the mall but is not inside the mall. We didn't meet a huge line as expected for a Friday night. The line attendants were adequately friendly and moved the assembly reasonably fast. The cashier was neither aware of the promotion nor did he know how to ring up our BOGO (which we received as a promotion for purchasing a $30 gift card during the month of December) and thus asked the manager cutting up food in the kitchen, which held up the line. I wish they would train their staff properly on their marketing team's existing promotions and the correct process for honoring the promotion without having to call a manager for rescue. The food tasted great, the inside was clean, there was plenty of high-top and table seats, and there's a patio for the warmer months. We would probably return. read more

It's very unfortunate to have to wait over an hour to get an order online... so we decided that it was best to walk in since sometimes it's easier. We tried to walk in and their close their doors , an employee came to the door to let us know they were short staffed and it was better if we order food online since they are not able to take people. It's not often for me to post bad reviews, unless needed and this was a call for it. I have a lot of respect for people who worked there, I want to make clear I'm not complaining about them, is for whomever manages... it's Saturday as a manager you plan ahead and make sure you have more like lining off employees for the weekend... I've had experiences at this Chipotle but not quite like this one. A full blown fight broke out between a dissatisfied pregnant customer and the manager. After it was broken up the immature staff shouts all of y'all's orders are cancelled so bye. That caused customers to get even more enraged. This location is already "completely online" so you have to order and hope that your food is correct. So many customers were coming back with messed up orders and then this. HORRIBLE. This has been a repeated problem. I order food through Chipotle app. The pick up time was 2:00 pm. My dad went by 2:03 and the food was not ready. My dad asked the cashier two times to see where our order was. then they started to make my order. Why do you waste our time? The order was supposd to be ready by 2:00. I would love to give this establishment 5 stars but I can't the reason is, every time I go they are out of salad dressing. I stand in a long line, order a chicken salad, get to the cash register and then I'm told, "we are out of dressing". So, no one thought to tell me that when asked for a salad and this was at 5pm. I asked if they were making any more and was told "no". This is not the first time, ridiculous. Okay, maybe it's me but in the past the countertops at Chipotle were always clean but now they just slide your bowl through the leftover guac, sour cream and any other mess that's fallen from the previous orders, yuck. I've had such a wide range of experiences with this Chipotle location since I moved to the area in May 2020 (during COVID). The first time, I ordered online and picked up without any issue at all. Subsequent pickups have been late, or placed on obscure shelves that did not look to be for people to just walk up to and take. On a visit over the winter, all of the doors were locked (I assume from COVID) and other patrons were letting customers into the doors. It was a WEIRD setup and pretty confusing. I've also noticed that Doordash drivers either seem to hate picking up from here or there is an issue with the system. I once had an order placed through the Chipotle app (for delivery via Doordash) cycle between assigned to a driver and waiting to be assigned for well over an hour before it arrived cold. On the plus side - the order accuracy is good. If you go into it expecting a potential delay in online order pickup/delivery, you'll be fine. The food is what you'd expect from any Chipotle. read more

Try not to go to this location. Worst service. Slow. Ordered pickup for 5:45 so it was promised at 5:45 ordered at 5:26ish before I left my house lol WHAT A JOKE.. and what an experience.. literally waited from 5:45 until 6:25 to get my food while I watched 3 line rotations go through and get their food before me.. meaning these people hadn't even ordered and got their food before me.. I was honestly pissed.. yeah I had a few things I said to the manager like "this wasn't acceptable" etc and I'm not wrong .. then one of the workers at the register decides to give me lip saying I'm not helping .. not my problem .. all I did was ask where my food was after over 30 mins of waiting.. damn .. be respectful to your customers.. you can't even do your job right and you have one job to do.. at least be nice and don't give customers lip when they have a right to be upset lol as I said WHAT A JOKE and usually I haven't had issues with this chipotle but this experience just ruined it for me.
