I am a Chipotle regular , this location is struggling big time. The main problem I have is the staff and overall cleanliness of this location. The staff seem to be unlike other chipotle's i've been to. They act like they don't want to be there at all and ask me 4 times after i told them what I wanted in my taco which is very annoying. Overall this place inside is very dirty, trash on the floor, trashcan overflowing and food on the floor and table. It's the Only location in new orleans so maybe they just don't care knowing people will come here reguardless ? read more

I had a pork salad with beans etc. The pork had a sour taste. Sour cream tasted off. I ate a small portion then threw it away! I was physically sick until 7am. This was not a stomach flu. The food was good but what really stood out was the young woman who served my husband and I. Cherynisha was so friendly and had a great attention to detail. Her customer service was phenominal, you could tell she took pride in her work. Its the little things that really make a difference. If Chipotle continues to hire people like Cherynisha, my family will be lifetime customers. I sure wish I could find people like this to work for us. read more

Today was my first and last time ever ordering chipotle. For starters the ordering process was a complete nightmare. Over the phone is automated and a complete hassle as most automated systems are. So i order online easy enough. well when putting in drink orders theres only bottled beverage choices and some other organic lemonades from the fountain . So i assume (my first mistake) you can only order bottled drinks so i order two cokes. So i get there to pick up my food and its totally packed , cool so im standing in the long line thinking this is where i am to pick up my food, WRONG there is a shelf stuffed with to go orders where you just walk up and take whats yours. There is no one there to ask, no sign that says pick up orders here and literally anybody could just walk up and take your bag and leave. So i grab my bag and my two PISSY HOT COKES AND MY ICY COLD FOOD! right, i get it my foods cold because i stood in the wrong line but again my first time being there i had no idea i was to just walk up and pick up my food!!!!! so i get back to my office and this food was just thrown into a bowl so sloppy and mushy it literally looked like SLOP ! It was so awful i couldnt eat more then two bites . I ordered for the four people that work in my office and not one of us could stomach the food ! just completely terrible. Portion sizes have shrunk! While I applaud their hiring practices and food quality, I've noticed food portions getting smaller over the years. A burrito used to be 2 meals for me, but now I leave hungry. Maybe their employees are just adhering to portion standards more aggressively, but for my $$ I'm sticking to Filipe's. read more

So it's kind of like Izzo's but I would say quieter. I split one of those steak burritos with my teddy bear lol it was yummy. I don't know if it was better than Izzo's taste wise (equally tasty) but it was healthier food so... I pick this place over Izzo's. I love Chipotle! It's my favorite chain. However, this location's service is terrible. I placed an order online to be ready by 5:30. Giving a courteous 15 minute buffer, I arrived to pick up my order of a burrito bowl. When I told the lady at the register, she rolled her eyes at me and yelled that the "online order MUST be made now". Took them 20 minutes to make it and I might as well had just waiting in line and ordered as a walk in. The new "make it down the line" burrito places. Chipotle's burritos have a great flavor from the meats and grilled onion/ bell peppers, but have less of a selection than similar places. That's ok because what they do have they do it right. I had a burrito and the wife had the taco plate. Both were enjoyable. In my experience the average Chipotle ranks at 4 stars minimum. Everything was cooked well and tasted good, but I felt as though they portioned out their food rather frugally. I've recently started frequenting Chipotle now that they offer Sofritas, a delicious vegan option. Every time my boyfriend and I go, the food is fresh and the employees are quick and friendly. Supreme food, healthiest you can find at a fast food budget that doesn't taste like fabric. Decor is simple yet nice, stainless steel and wood, kinda has an art deco vibe to it without being gaudy. Service is fast and attentive. Good drink selection, but consider my bias for they have my beloved Coke Zero. Plenty of room, lots of bar seats and outdoor seating. Usually this place is pretty good, however today was subpar... They were recooking chicken from early, which ended up causing the chicken to be old, which ruins the whole flavor. The staff was slower than normal and unthought out! It drives me nuts when you request something and they don't listen! For example, "just a little" then they put the normal amount. This seems to always happen. Listen to the customer! They ran out of a lot of the toppings, chicken too as usual so like got slowed and stopped.
