For those of you that previously said this location sucked...I did too. That was at the beginning. Give them another try. I have been there 3-4 times recently, and everything has been excellent. Portion sizes have been phenomenal, quality has been great. If you have been going to Lockport instead, they suck now. Give your business to Homer Glen, they deserve it now! read more

Don't ever use online ordering here and you would've thought I learned my lesson the first four times. They never get the order right and put half the portion size. The only time they ever get my order right is if I actually go inside and physically watch them make it. I've been eating at Chipotle for 12 years and have been so disappointed with the direction they have gone as a company since Steve Ells left. I've given this store two try's and I'm done. The staff isn't friendly at all. They treat you like you are inconveniencing them for coming into the store. And their portion sizes are not what other stores give. They don't give correct amounts. I've gone to the Elmhurst store several times because I work out there and have never had an issue. But the Homer store is not good. I would advise you pick a different store for better results. read more

This location officially opened for business on 4/20/17. The interior seems to be smaller than average in terms of size. The decor is sleek and minimalist. The furnishings are rather unusual - gone are the heavy metal and wood chairs. Instead, they have medium-weight black chairs which are a bit jarring aesthetically. In terms of flavor, they are not lacking. The "hot salsa" was the hottest I have ever had at Chipotle. The rice and beans were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the peppers were singed (blacked edges) instead of caramelized. The guacamole was very good. What is lacking, however, is the portion size. I ordered a bowl and on day one, they were barely filling the bowls. The ingredients do not even touch the sides of the bowl, it is just a small mound of food in the center. read more

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I had to place an order for my teaching staff of 15 and they were so helpful. It was a large order that I gave them right when the store they opened. All of them helped, including the manager, and I was out in 15 minutes, if that. Fabulous food, and I would highly recommend this location. read more

I was excited to come across this location, as I tend to avoid LaGrange road these days and haven't had chipotle in quite some time, but man was I disappointed. They were so stingy on the serving size and ingredients! I remember my experiences at other chipotles being somewhat satisfying in this regard, but brother, I could actually see just how stiff they were with rationing out the portions. It's not like there was any shortage of ingredients. They had an abundance of staff members on hand to keep things full, and just about everything under the glass was near full and had that dried look on top, like it had been sitting out for a while. Taste was ok, what there was of it. I just can't justify spending eight and a half bucks on a VERY light snack. After reading some other reviews and seeing that this is a regular complaint, I won't be returning. read more

This location has truly incompetent staff. Each time I place an online order, they manage to screw it up. Today they gave me lettuce instead of the guacamole that I paid for. They gave my kids little plastic 4 oz cups of rice and beans instead of their normal build your own size AND managed to miss the cheese completely. Nothing worse than coming home with your order and then lookMing for things in your fridge to substitute for their incompetence. If you can, go somewhere else! read more

This is the closest chipotle to me, which is unfortunate. I've ordered online several times and they have messed up my order at least 3 times. Twice I had to go back, and one time they were already closed by the time I got home. Now I have to check the bag before I leave the parking lot. I was excited when Homer announced that Chipotle was opening. I was tired of driving to Orland Park then back home. Yes when they first opened they were a little light on the ingredients, but that's to be expected most of the employees are new. Haven't had a bad experience yet. If an employee is a little light on ingredients i just ask for more no biggy. The reason for the 4/5 is they seemed to have changed their bowls and they get soggy really fast and fall apart and if you eat out of it you can scrape up some of the bowl. I'm not sure if it's just this location or all, haven't been to any other location recently to see if their bowls have changed. read more

I see myself as someone who cherishes and is quite a consiseur of burrito bowls, especially at chipotle, but I am consistently dissatisfied and disappointed at this location. By the looks of it, there are way too many staff memebers that are needed. They are standing around and dancing while things could be cleaned up or refreshed. I'm not saying I dislike a friendly environment, but it's a bit chaotic and overwhelming. The main reason I'm writing this, is that I'm done waiting for a change on the serving sizes. The rice is always patted down and when you ask for more - like me who doesn't get meat or any vegan substitute - they completely ignore your requests. As well as the guacamole. If I'm paying extra give me the right amount, I think that should be agreeable. And by the way, I'm not a hag. Just a bratty teenage girl who wants carbs. read more

I'm not even giving them a star. Usually they're great to me. I accidentally placed an order for pickup (meant to do delivery) so I called them. The guy was super rude and told me to call DoorDash to tell them and then call them back. No thank you, So I told them to cancel my order and I'll reorder it so that way it can be delivery. His words were "okay. Bye." And then he hung up on me! Then the new order's doordash guy almost hit me! Worst ordering ever. read more

I will never go to this Chipotle again. We were so happy that one opened close to us, but we will drive to Orland instead. We ate there over the summer and I was vomiting uncontrollably a couple hours later. Seven months later we (hesitantly) decide to give it another chance and order online to pick it up after work since it is the closest one to us. The place was empty, which I found unusual for a Chipotle at dinner time, and I went up to the counter. The staff member asked me "if I remembered what I ordered" and pulled out a bag. He looked very confused while looking at the computer and then said, "yep, this is it." Without making eye contact or even checking the contents inside. When I got in the car I opened our burrito bowls to make sure it was what we ordered. From what I saw it looked like ours, but I am kicking myself for not opening them in the restaurant because my bowl was wrong. I ordered a veggie bowl with a few toppings. When I got home and stirred it around I had zero veggies, a sprinkling of corn salsa, and about five scraps of lettuce. So basically a bowl of flavorless rice. To try and find a positive- at least we didn't get sick again!! We will not be back! Such a disappointment. read more

Disgusting food and a filthy restaurant. I will never carry out from this restaurant again, I will drive the extra distance to go to the Orland Park location. I went to order several different burritos and when Michael went to go make the second burrito they were out of chicken so he was scraping up what ever scraps that were left to put on my burrito bowl. When I went to give him my last order which was chicken tacos he literally scrapped as much black stuff off the bottom of the container he could to pass as chicken. At that point I got angry and asked him to wait until he had more chicken and not scrap the scraps up to give me. The counters were full of spilled food and guacamole was smeared all over the counter also. When I asked to speak to a manager they said there wasn't one there at this time and offered me her cell phone number. I told her that I would follow up when she was in the business and not call her on her cell phone. On the way out all three garbage cans were overflowing and there was garbage on the floor. It was a horrible experience, my food is cold and it was just disgusting all the way around and I will never be back to this chipotle again. read more
