This is the worst chipotle I have ever been to hands-down. I have gone here multiple times and they make me wait 30 minutes until all of the orders that were placed online get fulfilled before they attend me. I have complained and and they never solve this issue, clearly showing that management doesn't care about its customers. Today I walked in at 9 PM and they told me I needed to leave because they would not be fulfilling any more orders, even though they close at 10 PM. Always accepts online orders for guac but when you show up they're ALWAYS out of guacamole. I've been charged for chips and guac maybe 15 times and I've never received it once. Learned my lesson to just never order guac from this place and run to wegmans AFTER I pick up my food. Whack. I have been going to this location once a week for years now! The food is reliably tasty. I like how it feels in my body afterwards. I really like that Chipotle makes the effort and produces fresh, clean food that is free from additives etc, and is also reasonably priced. Was waiting for my chips and guac all day. Guess what? When I got there they had no guac!!!! How do you have no guac?! I asked them and they said they had no avocados!! What??!! Mind you this is after waiting in a huge line. The employees also were rushing and sloppy, and weren't the nicest answering any questions or concerns. Drove 40 minutes in hope of getting chipotle then waited on line for 20 minutes while being the second person. Worker then proceeded to alert everyone that they were shutting down the front end since they were an hour and a half behind on their online orders. Asked the worker how long until they are a functioning establishment and taking orders and she responded with an hour. This is literally the worst Chipotle location I have EVER been to. Starting with the food, which is almost always either burnt/undercooked/the wrong temperature (i.e., crunchy rice, burnt chicken, completely raw fajita veggies). Nine times out of ten they are out of some ingredient or the other, it's just a waiting game to find out what it is. Even more so than the food, the service here is the ABSOLUTE WORST. They are either severely understaffed, or the employees are completely incompetent with regards to handling large lunch/dinner crowds. Even if you go at an off-peak time (say, 2 pm on a Tuesday), be prepared to wait for AT LEAST 30 minutes. And forget about trying to get out of there before two hours on a Saturday night. I cannot for the life of me understand why they decided to open up mobile ordering for this location, because the staff is SO SLOW at making them and it holds up the rest of the line for hours. I have stood in line for 45 minutes when there were no more than 5 people in front of me just because they can't keep up with mobile orders. I would give this location zero stars if I could. This place needs a serious overhaul and new management that knows how to handle the crowd levels ASAP. Unless you enjoy wasting hours of your life in line for a burrito, save your time and eat literally anywhere else. It might not satisfy your cravings the same, but at least you won't have to eat your food in a rage because of how long it took to make it. read more

Today after taking an excessive amount to give the doordasher the food, they charged us for an item we didn't receive with no substitute or explanation. Food: The food is really good! They have burritos, bowls, tacos, and a couple other options. Lots of options of what to put on your burrito. Good for vegetarians and vegans! The problem is. . . A couple of times I have been in here and they have been out of RICE! WHAT?! Anyway, when you are able to get everything on your burrito that you want, food is good! Cost: The general cost is reasonable but they charge you $2.05 to put guacamole on your meal! Service: sometime the people who work here are nice to you and other times they are just plain rude. Atmosphere: the line can sometimes be REALLY LONG and normal sized at other times. A lot of the tables are dirty and when the line is long it can be loud. I'm tempted to give a 4 Star because the food is so good but all the other aspects of this place are lacking. Maybe if you ordered takeout it would be better read more

And luckily because Chipotle is a franchise there's not much differentiation from location to location. However, one thing I do dislike about this place is the manager who tries to be extremely stingy with the food. Example: On Halloween I got a $2 burrito, but after finding out additional guac was free after the person started wrapping my burrito, the manager refused to let her unwrap it and add some guac. Mediocre in every possible way. The lime/cilantro combo overwhelms all other flavors, guacamole is an expensive and largely pointless add-on as it tastes like nothing, and even though I asked for a small amount of sour cream they really overdid it. Worst Chipotle I have been to, and I've been to chipotle restaurants in 5 states. Unorganized operation and messy facility with un-cleaned tables. Poor process management and understaffed. If online orders slow the restaurant and there's a line out the door, MAYBE they should not be allowed at certain times. I went to this location on a really busy friday. When I got my food I went to fill up my drink, I placed my food down and when i wasn't looking someone took it. I went to the counter and explained what happened and the staff was extremely kind and remade my order. I can't speak more highly of the service at this location! read more

I love Chipotle. Just not this one. The food here is not any better than any other Chipotle, but at times it has been much worse. I have been in three times and am calling it a day with trying. My first experience, there was a line out the door due to Brown University being in town. (not a negative). However after waiting 40 minutes in line, when I got up to order everything went smooth even if the crew was understandably looking like they were over it. But ... at a time when the food should have been pretty fresh (they just served a huge rush so should be making new food ... most of the food choices looked like they had been sitting for a few hours. I ordered and was not disappointed, it in fact tasted like it was anything but fresh. Second experience. No line, (1101 AM on a July day ... no college kids). Food looked and tasted like it had sat out for a week. But the service was decent. Third experience, food was incredible. The service was horrible. The group of hipster bro's behind the counter were too busy comparing who had the coolest fedora and sweater for the not very attractive new girl. I checked my watch once I got annoyed nobody had helped me. 19 minutes later the tall skinny hipster with ironic glasses says "what do you want" ... not how can i help you or can I take your order. Once i FINALLY got my food, it was good. The restaurant was horribly dirty and there was no hot sauce bottle that was not empty ... but the food itself was good. All in all, the Chipotle in Ithaca is a college hang out and nothing more. The food seems very secondary to the opportunity for both the staff and the customers to be seen at their favorite hang out. I honestly think the owner of this franchise should probably hire a new manager and try to find some level of clean consistency on the food and restaurant itself. That said, they never will because they are always packed with college kids who do not care about either of those important issues. read more

This is without a doubt THE WORST Chipotle I have ever been to. The customer service was seriously lacking. I came at 4:30 pm before the dinner rush and they were out of tortillas, steak, and fajitas. Not sure how a burrito chain can operate without tortillas. The cashier forgot to charge for my guac, and made me pay for it AFTER I had already put the charge on my credit card. Doesn't seem right considering THEY were the one who made the mistake. But in case you live under a rock, Chipotle is a fast food burrito joint with locations all around the nation. When this location first opened, the lines were out the door with people. I like Chipotle...but not enough to wait 30+ minutes to get a burrito. Nowadays, the lines have calmed down, and what's left is a very decent burrito place that blows That Burrito Place out of the water (did that even need to be said?) and compares favorably to Mexeo's. read more

My friends and I waited an hour on the line while the staff were laughing the whole time not working very hard. When we got to the front of the line we were told that they were out of rice and chips and wouldn't have rice for another half hour and that we were behind a large stack of mobile orders. Service is horrendous and takes for ever and the place is consistently filthy. Delivery is also terrible, my friends and I ordered 7 bowls and they forgot one so we called the Chipotle and they said there wasn't anything they could do because the delivery is performed by a third party.
