    Speaks for itself...

Disgustingly dirty...Ithaca is a dump so it might be tough but I'd try and find something else to eat if you're considering this place. The garbage was overflowing, there was trash on the floor and they were completely out of chicken because no one bothered to cook any. I love Chipotle but this one should either be A- shut down or B- major employee overhaul. I'll include a photo of the trash.

Long ahh line. Only one person actually making burritos and bowls, typical Ithaca chipotle!

This is the dumbest chipotle in the entire United States. WHY is there ALWAYS only ONE person actually making burritos and bowls while every other employee stands around? Not even in the back prepping food, but seriously just standing around in sight of customers. This branch should be shut down immediately, and is the perfect representation of Ithaca as a whole: a lazy bum ahh town where no one gets anything done. If I had to chose between drinking a glass of Cayuga lake water and waiting in this line during a Tuesday lunch rush, I would chose lake water every time. Hire better employees who perchance, work. Edit: They had no ice. They had no tortillas.

I apologize to every Chipotle I have ever reviewed before and would go back and add a star after this experience. Always out of either rice or chicken. Just filthy no one ever stops to clean anything. Nobody at the counter for the last five minutes because they are waiting on rice this time.

    Napkin after cleaning our table

Our food was good however our experience was not good at all. By the time they got to finish my husband's burritos, it would have been cold. Granted they were very busy and I understand that, but they shouldn't have started subsequent orders until the large order was completed. Our food sat there on the counter ( very messy with food scraps) as they completed the big order. When my husband asked them to reheat his burrito, they did offer to make him a new one that was appreciated. But then to find a table? There was not one clean table inside or out I had to clean our table with a wet napkin! We will not be returning to chipotle anytime in the near future.

Love Chipotle! Only problem is the line. But I understand because the food is always delicious. It's a must for me whenever I go to Ithaca.

Better to go to Viva in downtown. There are long lines sometimes and the food doesn't seem to be worth it.

This restaurant ran like a well oiled machine, everyone chipping in to grab empty plates, run food, fill coffee, clean tables... Our waitress was awesome! Extremely attentive and hospitable. - now to the food, I won't post a menu pic because there's plenty of them posted. We ordered the chocolate strawberry waffle, Brie French brioche, a Belgian waffle, the baked apple pancake and a side of chicken with sweet garlic sauce. Everything was delicious!! I'm glad we made this a stop on our road trip. Instagram worthy ambiance and food presentation for sure, check this place out if you're in Ithaca!

When they brought out my food, the server bringing out my food, asked if I would like any water. When she returned with the water, she asked if I would like any avocado since I didn't get ham. Anytime the servers we go to another table with coffee they would swing back around and check to see if I wanted more coffee. It felt like the servers enjoyed their jobs and were not trying to take any shortcuts and were genuinely trying to make it a positive experience. The food was good. Overall, the food wasn't amazing. It was not the best hollandaise sauce I've ever had in my life and the poached eggs felt flat and somewhat small. However, there hashbrowns were probably the best I've ever had. They were very crispy on the outside. Like ASMR crispy. But flaky and buttery on the inside. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. It was very cold inside on the day that I was there, but it was also very hot outside and so this may have been deliberate. Aesthetically it's very pleasant. The bathroom is very clean and has a really nice changing table in it which is a plus for parents.

After a long hiatus, I finally made my triumphant return to North, this time with my girlfriend, to relive the magic and, of course, put their food to the test. We went for the Tompkins Burger ($8.49) -- a classic setup with onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. No sauce included, but that's a choose-your-own-adventure situation at the condiment station. My girlfriend gave it a 7/10, and honestly, that feels right. It's a solid, no-nonsense burger that exceeded my size expectations (which is half the battle with late-night food). I also really love their the boneless wings. Specifically, the sweet chili and honey mustard flavors. Maybe I'm biased (I would eat chicken for every meal if society allowed it), but these wings slap. Flavorful, saucy, and the perfect balance of sweet and tangy -- 10/10 would recommend :) Beyond the hot food, Nasties is the ultimate convenience stop. Need snacks? Drinks? Collegetown bagels is the most popular bagel spot in Ithaca, but I don't find nostalgia in the bagels, primarily due to the tougher texture. However, I do really enjoy their spicy Italian bagel and rosemary salt bagel (although a bit too salty to my liking), and especially their cream cheeses. My favorite has to be their parsley-garlic cream cheese which is loaded with garlic and the freshness of parsley. Other honorable mentions include veggie and bacon-scallion cream cheese. I've had a few of their sandwiches as well. Their Havana Breeze doesn't include much ham or pickles, and the bread was quite greasy on inside and outside which made the sandwich overall very heavy. Their Tour de France has roasted turkey, Brie, apples, honeycup mustard, bacon on multigrain bread (I substituted for focaccia. The bread was soft, but I would've liked it more if it had more seasoning (like some Italian/herb seasoning). The sandwich is cold, but I think having it warmed up/toasted would meld the flavors together better. There was a generous amount of bacon and Brie, but the overall sandwich just didn't seem homogenous. Perhaps a sauce or jam (like a bacon-apple jam) would've helped to bind the flavors more. Lastly, their earl grey hot cocoa consisted of an earl grey tea bag in watered down hot coca which was a bit disappointing. Overall, not the best bagels I've ever had, but their cream cheeses are delightful. I'll still go back to try their baked goods and other sandwiches.
