Lackluster and decrepit Wendy's. My order took forever to place in the drive thru. Lots of cars snaking around the building. Had to order, stop, repeat, order, stop, repeat then order while the order-taker was busy goofing around with pals and looking for the right button to push. Meanwhile my buttons are being pushed. The food was thrown upside down (with an open lid) into a paper sack which leaked hot and rancid smelling chili all over the car seat when I received it. The meat inside the soup tasted "laying around and reheated", as it must have been! I know kitchens. These employees just eat the good food and serve last weeks grub to seniors and school kids in the drive thru!! Some meat pieces in the chili (the size of a burger patty) had what looked like bite marks on them: which leads me to believe that the employees eat the good food daily and then (instead of just throwing out the old) - serve the old food from yesterday to customers.. all kinds of strange pieces of food were in the chili-soup: Stale scallions. Last night and tonight went to this location and both nights they were closed by 7:30. Sign on door and website says they are open until 2:00 am daily. When you try to call the phone number listed a recording says that the telephone is temporarily out of order. I probably should consider myself lucky because literally every time I order a double stack with just cheese (and I stress just meat, cheese and bun) it is almost always wrong. Sometimes even the remade burger is wrong again. Most of there workers seem completely uninterested in doing their job (there are a few younger women that are an exception). This place really needs to get new management! read more

Horrible management. This place needs to get someone who will help his store not just yell and downgrade employees. This Daniel guy needs to go. Also, my order was wrong I ordered a crispy chicken with mayo and onion and it came without anything on it. Instead of fixing the order, he said I was lying and walked away. 5/6/23: Drive thru at 8pm only was taking cash-- the guy taking our order messes up and he knew it, but didn't apologize. BIG red flag is he didn't confirm our order after we made it NOR did he give us a receipt. We checked to find he mixed up the order to make one sandwich a single. And said a baconator was a double--like wtf. Baconators have 2 patties by default. He insisted that he wasn't wrong when we came back around to get the correct order bc he charged us correctly for the WRONG order. $17 about for 2 sandwiches. No receipt to tell us what we were even charged for. Ordered a Dave's double and baconator. That was it. Got a Dave's single and baconator that he was calling a double. He just got short and said he'll take care of it at the window. No apologies when we said we ordered a Dave's double...not what he gave us. Waited in line again for 15-20 mins just to get back to the window. Insanity it took twice as long to correct this coming back round. Starving at this point. No idea what he has in store for us. Will he charge us extra? Will we even get a receipt for both times we had to come around since the dining area lobby was shut down so all we had was the drive thru? The register was broken for 3 days...had to get a pic of the order via our phone...got the sandwich in the end. Ok. This was definitely the first time in our years in Ithaca we'd been Wendy's. Breakfast is awesome! I love the breakfast baconator! Quick friendly service in the drive thru.

Usually a nice place to eat but today in the drive thru 1) I got a root beer instead of coke, 2) A kids meal order with Chocolate Milk ended with no drink at all, and the kids Jr. Frosty ended up as a small frosty, much larger and more than a 3 year old can eat. They had a very patient lady explain the menu over the drive thru speaker as we were fumbling through the menu. And their nuggets were hot and fresh, chili was a little watery (old beef), and the single piece of bacon in the $5 meal was leathery. I ordered my first item of the order and they said "pull up to the window, have a good one" never asked me what drink i wanted and she was laughing. No receipt with drive through order and no napkins. Prices are high--$16 for a burger, small fry, and small drink. The drinks at Ithaca Wendy's are consistently tasteless. They taste as if half the coke syrup is being used in the machine. Every time I give this restaurant another chance, I'm sorry I did. read more

The line was astronomically long. It seemed that only 1 person was working at 9:00 at night. The store looked abandoned. Food wasn't any better. Never coming back. McDonald's is much better, and it's just a short drive down the road. read more

Food was terrible!! Went around 8:30 tonight and ordered two # 6s no tomatoes add cheese med with Cokes and a # 2 dbl cheeseburger med with Dr Pepper. Pulled up to the window , paid 30+ dollars and was given two chicken sandwiches and a number 1 combo. Order taker corrects the mistake. I get home, fries are at least an hour old. Spicy chicken sandwiches both have tomatoes no cheese. Beef was so dry so I'm sure that was sitting for an hour or more. The thing is, it wasn't busy!! We were the only car in the drivethru and the dining room was closed. To raise your prices and serv the public food that is inedible is disrespectful. Our spicy chicken sandwiches were spicy crispy chickens!! To be charged a price for premium chicken and get the smallest chicken I've seen from Wendy's makes me so mad!! I love Wendy's but this one has to be one of the worst. Still no dining room service and a drive thru that can take 45 mins on a weekend makes you think it is still the heart of the pandemic. Needed a quick bite before hitting the road around 2:30pm on a Sunday. Tried drive through first but was stuck in line for ages so decided to try walking in. Still waited in line for 20+ minutes before our order was taken. In that time noticed the place was in desperate need of a deep cleaning and update. Finally ordered and waited another 10 minutes until the people behind us told us they had dropped our receipt and they hadn't even started filling our order yet. So waited almost 40 minutes to get fast food, and the quality is well below normal wendys standards. Extremely disappointed and won't be visiting this restaurant again. read more

customer service here is nonexistent. the lobby has been locked now three times we have tried to stop for dinner. they claim they don't have enough employees to run the counter. if that is the case put a damn note on the doors. for elderly people to have to get out of their car, walk to the door only to find it locked is ridiculous. will not be stopping here ever again. read more

Ordered the 5 dollar biggie bag, everything came out quick and tasted good

Their sprite is subpar but other than that, 5/5. Would recommend to a friend. I think this Wendy's deserves a 5-star rating because of their friendliness and attentiveness. I especially appreciate their attention to detail. read more

Yo this was amazing. I came here around 11:30 cause nothing else is open around here, and got my food in a timely manner. I got myself a burger and some fries and I finished that. I think it's one of those underrated fast food restaurants that more people should check out. 5 out of 5 stars. Will definitely come again. read more

Had the worst burgers & baked potatoes yesterday. The burgers were very dried out & overloaded with sauce.....we wanted plain baked potatoes but the menu only showed chili & cheese, which we ended up ordering. First of all I would have given zero stars if that were an option. I went here at 12:05 am to get a meal for my girlfriend who works overnights. Their website claims that they are open until 1:00 am; yet I waited over five minutes at the drive thru ordering speaker and no one answered. The lights on the menu were off (like the place was closed), but the lights in the building were on and there were three cars in the parking lot which clearly belonged to the employees on staff (I saw them in the building). They failed to acknowledge my existence, and did not care to take orders at that time. Why does such an establishment claim that they are open until 1 am but does not serve after midnight? This is false advertising at the very least, or it is a case of incredibly lazy and incompetent staff. I surely hope that this is limited to just this location and is not indicative of Wendy's as a whole. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I also tried calling them at 12:20 and no one picked up the phone (and yes, there were employees in the building).
