This Grossmont chipotle used to be good but the last year it really got bad. Out of food, messy countertops, food everywhere, empty containers stacked up. I'm not sure who prepared this order but I would suggest reading the order correctly as your making it next time as well as give a full portion. Worst expeience ever. I ordered on the app to pickup at the window, we waited there for 10-15 minutes and finally just went inside. When I walked in all the workers were talking behind the corner, so I stood there for another 5 minutes. Once I got home the food was cold, it was missing pieces of the bowls entirely, the chicken burnt and the steak just tasted weird, the smallest portions ive ever received at a chipotle, to the point where i was furious, and im not usually one to make a scene so i go through the app to try and get a refund since we paid $25 for bad service and bad food, and all it gave me was 2 free drinks and said they'd let leadership know ? The person working the line was apologetic and seemed to really be trying to hold it all together. They honestly should have just closed at that point. The two people working in the front (Asian woman and white male) were having a full on conversation with two of their friends not even ordering. A line formed behind us and they payed us no notice. The one time I should've listened to the reviews and drove the distance to another location. Here's your tip!! Out of 3 employees, only one worker was familiar with chipotle rewards. The older woman at around 1pm on Tuesday was in such a rush for no reason because we were the only ones in line. She gave us half a scoop of rice and I asked for more and she proceeded to give me another half scoop. Everything else was also half scoops just thrown all over. I haven't visited this location in a long time, Quality has gone down hill. my wife and I decided to stop in and order a couple of bowls. Unfortunately it wasn't as fresh as we thought it was gonna be. Chicken was being scraped from the bottom of the pan and rice was cold. Guacamole was brown and not fresh tasting at all. An unmitigated disaster and horribly mismanaged. I ordered a bowl at 6pm for pickup at 8:20pm so we're already starting with a 2 hour lead time. I arrive at 8:25 and the chipotlane is crazy long. The only way I make any significant moves forward are because people are abandoning the line after 30min of waiting. At this point, I've finally entered the lane itself with a curb on either side and we still haven't moved in 10min. So I park right where I am and go inside to ask what's happening, assuming people are misusing the lane and trying to order at the window. A very rude staff member tells me she has no idea what is happening with the lane, she's only dealing with in store customers who have been here for 2 hours but I can call for a refund if I want, which I very much want. I take the number and go back to my car to call the store itself and the refund line. No answer from either. At this point I just want to leave but I'm trapped in the chipotlane and no staff has come out to give updates or direct traffic for people who want to leave. After 15 more minutes, 2 staff members come out and put dumpsters at the entrance of the lane so now we're all victims of false imprisonment, we were given no option to leave. I've now been stuck in this line for 2 hours by the time I get to the window. Not a single apology from anyone they just want my name and time I was supposed to have been able to pick up my order. This was at 10:25pm. It took them 4 hours and 25min to get me a burrito bowl. So I just take it and leave because my dog has been home alone all day while I'm at work and now an extra 2 hours because of this team's incompetence. To add insult to injury, when I got home, there was a burrito in my bag, not a bowl. So I didn't event get my order.
