We ordered two kids build your own taco kits. They left the meat out of both so we had to drive back to get the meat. At checkout they were rushing and clearly did not check that the order was incorrect. Then we ordered a drink and the rootbeer nozzle was off and splattered all over us. I tried to tell cashier twice, and she seemed annoyed to be bothered with it. No one fixed it. Then when trying to call about missing items you cannot talk to a live person on the phone. Pretty terrible customer service! Checked a government website stating Chipotle had a deal for Veterans on Veteran's day. That was the only reason we came to this restaurant. Not only did they refuse to honor the offer, I was told they'd "get back with me" when they figured out. (I wasn't the first person to ask) But they never asked for contact information so... guess the kid is going to stop by the house later on... Not honoring the coupon isn't the reason for 1-star. Quite literally downloaded Yelp to give this place a good review. The food, the service, and the entire atmosphere of this place was immaculate. If I could give this place a higher review I would have. Rice was cooked perfectly and the burrito was full of meat. The cashier was quite literally the nicest person I have ever met and I was grateful for her service. If you want amazing service, amazing food, and a dining room to rave about, this is the place to be! I think it is quite counterproductive to say any Chipotle is inherently bad because YOU make the food. If you have any issues, be introspective about what you have ordered. read more

Man, the service here is awful. I keep coming because it's a quick place to get a good vegetarian meal, but tonight was the last straw. I placed a mobile order that was supposed to be ready at 7:00 pm. It was right after a game ended, so they had a mad rush about the time I arrived. I get that, and waited patiently for an opportunity to ask about my meal. I watched as one of the staff members ate food over the prep area, which was off-putting. Finally, at 7:20, I asked about my meal. The cashier searched frantically for the staff member who was supposed to be making them, only to find she couldn't locate him. Everyone began asking around - about five minutes later, the guy eating over the prep area showed back up. It was him! The cashier asked him to make my meal - so it hadn't even been prepared 25 minutes after it should've been ready. He casually walked around a while before slowly putting on gloves, then preparing my food. When he walked it to me, I thanked him - not in an irritated way, in a sincere way - and he spun around and walked off without saying a word. Staff should have better customer service training. I'm totally patient and get that they were busy, but the staff member in charge of making pick up orders wasn't even working the line. I shouldn't have had to awkwardly wait by the mobile pickup shelf for 25 minutes before being acknowledged, and the meal should've actually been made around the time I was given. My daughter and I go to Chipotle almost weekly but go to the Richmond Rd location that is always great or the Fayette Mall location. On 8/29/2022 we tried this location at lunch and we were so disappointed. The portion size was so much less than other locations. Our bowls were barely half full and very light. Used to be a nice place that ran well but it seems that management is non existent and they have 16 year olds running around and working there. 3 people were in line in from of me and it took over 10 minutes to get my food. It's lovely. I've always been a fan of this place, and prefer this location for whatever reason. It's a little difficult to get to, and probably even more so if you've never been here before. But - the staff are always friendly, the food is made to order, and the food is pure excellence. The burritos can be so big it takes two hands to eat them, and they usually bust open at some point, but that's part of the charm. Chipotle is good, it's filling, and it's fresh. If the weather is nice, they have a patio. Oh, and don't forget to crumble up some chips to feed the birds if you do sit on the patio. They love the crumbs. :) read more

I love Chipotle, but this location is by far the worst location in the United States. It is extremely slow, the staff is rude, the restaurant is filthy and they always get your orders wrong. I witnessed one of the employees cutting the meat and feeding himself with the same meat at the same time right out in the open. There is food everywhere on the floor and countertops. The garbage cans are always overflowing. The bathrooms are gross, filthy. Half of the time the bottled drinks are not in the refrigerator, they always say "I can grab you a hot one from the back." The Fresca drinks are always empty or turned off completely. Do not take a chance getting a mobile order here, it will either be wrong or have minimal amount of food in it. Mobile orders are never completed by time they say they will be completed. read more

Not really sure how I've managed to avoid reviewing this location in town, but here goes. Typical tasty Chipotle. The line staff seemed to be in a hurry, but it was lunchtime. I ordered a chorizo burrito with white rice, pinto beans, corn salsa and pico, cheese, and guac. All ingredients were up to snuff, exactly what you expect. Our baby did enjoy some of the beans, rice, and guac (his first table food!). Had never noticed it prior, but it looks like they have some build-your-own tacos for kids meals. Fancy! I'm not usually a fast casual fan, so it took some convincing for me to stop here. There was a line and they were busy, which was a good sign. I ordered some sort of burrito and an order of chips and guacamole. The chips and guacamole were good, but the burrito wasn't too great. The employees could use some customer service training. The Diet Coke was out, so I mentioned it to the cashier and she laughed... it was strange. I was like, do I have guacamole on my nose? No, apparently, I wasn't the only one who had mentioned it to her and she, for some strange reason found it funny. They had one chance with me, and they blew it. Each time they start on the order when I tell them I am there. This defeats the purpose of ordering online. Literally has never been ready. NEVER. I agree with a previous reviewer that this location seems to have perpetual issues. I get take-out from this location a lot because it's close to home. The dining room is usually so loud and chaotic that I would rather get my food to-go and eat in peace. The issue is always different, but tonight they were out of brown rice and the line got significantly backed-up while they made more brown rice. The last time, they were out of guacamole. The time before that it was something else. Same story, different day. If you are paying close attention and don't blink your eyes, you have a decent chance of leaving with your entire order. Tonight, they failed to put the salsa that I had ordered and paid for in the bag with the chips, but I have learned to be very attentive here and reminded them. The food itself is usually very good and consistent with other Chipotle's, but a little more attention to planning and detail at this location would go a long way with this burrito-lovin' customer. read more

Chipotle is one my fast food go-tos. Moral& customer service seem to be good as nearly all of the staff yells, "WELCOME TO CHIPOTLE!!!!!" when anyone enters the door. I also have to commend the staff as, last time I was there, I had thought I had free chips & guac on my Chiptopia card. Today has been a horrible day! First our son graduated from college and the university didn't really do much to even acknowledge the hard work involved, which was disappointing. Plus, with the pandemic going on we can't do much to celebrate...rough times, but hey it could be worse! Even tougher times is that sadly Kentucky's unemployment system literally sucks!! And then comes Chipotle....had a family member drive thirty five minutes to pick up an order since that's what our son wanted as a pickup graduation meal (ikr) and so we ordered pickup for the entire family!! The family member gets back home and yep...you guessed it...Chipotle forgot to give her all of the bags of food (we got one), so after driving out of town (we live in a small town w/o many options) for what was supposed to be dinner...well, now it's ruined! Called the store asking what happened and requested a refund and the guy was like well we didn't give you the second bag of food (well duh, you think I didn't eventually figure that out when she got home) but was told you can come back and get it. Well, that's not an option sonny boy!! So, I requested a refund and was told to call 303-595-4000. Called and no one picked up and finally was automatically told to use the website....needless to say I'm pissed!! Thanks Chipotle...you did it againProbably won't even get a refund. Update: Chipotle resolved our issue within 72 hours by providing a refund and also added additional free meals to our online account. Customer service means everything so we will continue supporting this business. read more

This location is mine and my boyfriends favorite. They are normally super friendly and the food is always fresh. We both get complicated orders and they never seem to mind. Several Health Dept violations were witnessed. I use to visit this location once per week but I have not returned since I witnessed the following; I entered the restaurant for a 2:30 late lunch & decided to head to the restroom before I placed my order. Upon finishing business I realized there was no hot or warm water. This is disturbing because most employees will just forgo the handwasing & return to work. So I walked up to the counter to place my order & to enquire about the lack of hot water & that's when I saw a female employee attempting to cut open a brown 12" cubed box with the knife. The same knife that they use to dice the grilled chicken. The box was sitting on top of the counter where they prepare all of the customers order. To top it off, another young employee was standing over the grill cooking chicken while eating chips from a bag. The chips were spilling onto the grilling chicken. I informed the female manager of what I had seen (she defended their actions) & then I exited the restaurant (without ordering any food) & placed a call into the Fayette Cnty Health Dept. They sent an inspector out later that day. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location & I now travel to the Richmond Rd restaurant to get my fix. read more

I love Chipotle but the staff here are very rude and have no interest in making your visit nice. I ordered a salad and apparently they only had shredded lettuce and was told very rudely 'it's the same thing!' as the other lettuce. Well it may be the same but my experience in eating a salad is not very nice when the lettuce is shredded. Next,they had no veggies left so I said I'll just come back up when you do and 2 secs later the worker gives me a sad looking helping of practically raw veggies. Ugh no thanks. I ordered steak and when she pointed to it I saw it was basically the corners of fat left so I had to pay more for the carne asada (hence 2 stars simply for the taste of this meat) otherwise I'd be paying for basically no meat. Overall just not a nice Chipotle and won't be returning to this location. Maybe I'll try Qdoba across the road instead. read more

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. A server, wasn't able to catch her name, (blonde hair, had a hat on, glasses) was so rude and had so much attitude toward us and other customers. I work in the restaurant industry and have for years, I understand having a bad day and not being in the best mood but this was uncalled for and crossing the line.
