This may be the worst Chipotle ever. Chipotle is known for their big burritos and bowls, not this place. I ordered a bowl from the Chipotle in fig garden, and they could barely close the lid on it. Have been to multiple locations throughout central California, by far this is the worst one the staff is rude has an attitude got 4 steak tacos they gave me one scoop for all when I asked for double meat that I didn't mind paying for extra got told " I can only give you one more piece per taco" and proceeded to give me the smallest pieces possible. We are regular Chipotle customers and we love the food. Today, however, we had a negative customer service experience. We decided to dine in and ordered two entrees and some additional salsas which could not all be carried by one person to a table. When I asked for a tray (which I've never had to ask for), I was told they didn't have any clean ones available. I was not offered any help with getting my order to the table despite two employees standing behind the counter looking at me. This is very poor customer service! Additionally, the individual who delivered the no clean trays news proceeded to lounge with his elbows in the counter in front of him and did not greet any of the 3 subsequent pick up customers who had to approach in his direction to get their food. Honestly the few times I've ordered here the staff has been rude, seeming annoyed when asking for a side of something or extra of a topping. They forgot a bag of chips a couple of times and every time I order online it seems like they are genuinely not even listening to the instructions of how a customer wants their bowl made. The burrito bowls at this Chipotle are always generously made. I love that the staff puts good amounts of toppings into the bowl. Leaves me full and satisfied everytime! I've ordered inside and online. Both are very easy to do. When the restaurant gets crowded, the staff know how to keep the line moving. Chipotle like other restaurants during these times do not seem to want to take responsibility for incorrect orders, the hide behind apps and offer no apologies for shorting orders, getting the orders wrong, or even bad tasting or under/overcooked food. At the edge of the plate you can a hair there. This is a dark hair and I have blonde hair so definitely not mine. It was actually in my food I had to dig it out a bit in order so you can see it more. At least in my plate there is more fat than actual chicken like they don't care to take off some of the fat off the chicken. I can literally say I got like 4-5 pieces of bell pepper. WHY WERE ALL THE SERVINGS SMALL?? I PAID $9 FOR THIS SMALL THING. Then my friend saw this big, solid, brown thing in her burrito. She found THREE! She decided to ask the manager what it was. Upon waiting to speak to the worker, another older lady went up to the cashier to ask about the same brown thing in her burrito. The manager gave a refund but said it was old avocado. WoW ! This place is a joke and I'm thinking the corporate office may not know that. So I'm going to take the time to go on the record and tell you some of the things to expect as a customer of this location. To be clear, I have been to other locations and had good experiences but not this one. I have given this location no less than 5 times to change my mind before taking the time to point out the things that bother me about this location, there's always something that's not available. Today, it's the pinto beans & brisket, there was a 10 to 15 minute wait for both of those items. Pinto beans is an item that at least 50% of the customers request, why wouldn't there be more ready ? The brisket is a new item, you should assume that customers are going to want to try it, so why wouldn't it be more readily available ? The tortillas are no longer free with a burrito bowl ! The only reason this location received 1 star was because I had to put at least one to leave my review. After waiting the 15 minutes, there was no apology for the inconvenience, not even an offer of a drink or chips. This is definitely the LAST time I will be a patron of this restaurant. This city wants it's residents to spend their money here, with these types of experiences, this is why we choose to go out of Madera to shop mad dine ! Have placed mobile orders several times and each time the order gets messed up. Today, we ordered 4 salads. When we got home, we opened our food to learn that they had put none of the green lettuce on 2 of the salads and did not give us any salad dressing for any of the orders. I recommend going inside, or check your pick up order before leaving to ensure the order is accurate. I know I can count on this chipotle to Always have fresh and delicious ingredients! There is literally no wait time, Im in and out within 5 minutes.
