We've always liked the Chipotle menu options. However, on December 22nd, the restaurant was disgustingly messy. There was a table which was completely covered in crumbs and food trash. We told the manager and he explained that the guests had just left and he'd get someone to clean it. It took 15 minutes before someone cleaned it. The employee only cleaned the tabletop but there was a lot of crumbs on the floor all around the table. The staff did not bother cleaning the floor or the other two tables next to it which also had crumbs but not as much. The manager there has failed to train their staff that appearance is vitally important too. Additionally, the fountain ice machine had a huge pile of ice which no one on staff noticed. The glass doors were also dirty and the floors of the entire restaurant were dirty, especially under the trash receptacle by the entry door. I'm not sure what kind of training Chipotle provides their managers and staff but it's very apparent that cleanliness is not important to them. It was disgusting and gross. read more

I don't know how they are closing at 11 PM if it's 8:11 PM right now and they have nothing to offer. No Gauc, no salad, no fresh meats. It's honestly pathetic when you go to PURCHASE a meal and they're scraping the bottom of the pans and giggling when you ask if they have anymore in the back and they say no. It's not funny -.-, it's annoying. I'm PAYING for food.... Not scraps. I come to this location often and half of the time the rice is never cooked properly. NEVER order online because 8 times out of 10 the rice is raw. When you order in the actual line, it's hit or miss. Today was a MISS! My rice was RAW. I know some might ask, why not say anything? They are aware. Well, they weren't horrible but definitely not up to Chipotle standards. They had no vinaigrette, understandable. but when i asked for a side a honey the line server told me flat out they didn't have any... We all know chipotle is an open kitchen and from the line i saw the honey on the shelf. which i had to point out and then gladly was given a side of honey. so now im eating and realize the black beans had no flavor it's literally reheating up beans with some water then adding lime juice and salt. guess they were too busy to realize they aren't taste testing their food. i won't put 1 start cause im being realistic but i know y'all are are going through it with a new general manager but yikes. Never seemed to have a problem with this place until today. Always had good portions and good food. Today on April 7, I was absolutely devastated with the ridiculous portions given to me. I'm not sure if they were running out of supply or what, but I paid 30 dollars for two meals with barely any chicken, rice, and all the above in it. Absolute minuscule portions. I'm only leaving this review because I hope something like this doesn't happen again. How am I gunna pay 30 dollars for one tiny scoop of rice and chicken. Today was our first time at Chipotle and we loved it. The food was great and the portions were pretty big. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean. If you stop by make sure you greet Ana, she was amazing. She took time to explain how everything works and made our first experience very memorable. For those who haven't stopped by this is how it works: you have the option of a bowl, tacos or burrito. You make your selection of rice, beans, veggies, salsas, meats and add one such as sour cream, cheese, guacamole. You can also add chips and salsa to your meal. They are lime flavored in case you are not a lime person. Overall it was great dining experience so check it out. read more

This specific Chipotle has exceeded my expectations, and that is not an exaggeration. I have gone everyday for the past two weeks and have been treated no less than the customers at Chick-Fil-A. There is a manager that always is on the floor asking customers if they need anything or are doing all right. I always say: "If you want to see how a restaurant/fast-food place takes care of their kitchen or handles their food, look at their bathrooms", reason being is because if they can't keep their bathroom clean, then imagine the kitchen that is used 100% of the time during the day. There is no other "fast-food" place that has cleaner bathrooms or dining area than Chipotle. I am very satisfied and will keep on going to Chipotle because there is no reason to not go. read more

Food is good. Coming from an area that is predominantly Hispanic the food is not traditional Mexican food. I like this place because of the healthy Portland the taste of the food. Today I used the app to scan and pay my order . For some reason I couldn't pay with the app which was my fault. I didn't have money to pay because I'm using paperless transactions due to covid 19. I explained sorry I couldn't pay it was ok never mind. The manager called me back before I left and said it's ok it's on us. The Chipotle at North McAllen was fairly empty. This Chipotle is out of my regular route but we happened to be near it at the time. It's my first visit to this location but I'm a regular at other Chipotle locations Valley Wide. The place being empty was a positive experience for us. We didn't have to wait in line to get our food and we were attended promptly. The staff was attentive and kept themselves busy even though they weren't directly helping customers. Staff was cleaning the tables, the fountain drink area, and other areas behind the food counter. Our order was correctly taken the first time. Both, my wife and I ordered Chipotle burritos with chicken as the protein. Black beans and green lime rice make a great addition to any burrito. After that, I add cheese buy my wife doesn't. We asked for 2 cups of mild salsa and a bag of chips to share. The person taking our order placed both burritos next to each other but my only minor complaint with all Chipotles that I've visited is that they don't properly label the burritos. This is a concern because once the burritos are wrapped up, you can't see what's on the inside until you bite it. In our case, my wife is allergic to dairy, so she can't have the cheese that I add to mine. Since our orders are almost identical, just labeling them 1 and 2 isn't enough because we might not remember which one was being made first. It has happened to us that the initially made burrito gets switch in the process of it being made. Other than that, the restaurant is in great shape, the staff is attentive, and the food is fresh and good tasting. Though this location is too far for me to frequent, if it is near you, I would say drop by this Chipotle location when you get the craving for it. Of the 3 available in the Rio Grande Valley, this one is at the top of my list. read more

But this particular location I went to on Saturday at October the 30th and I literally got extremely sick and all I got was a burrito bowl with their veggies and honestly I really miss the days when it was Covid time because the people working actually cared about their jobs and now just the people that are running out of unemployment or just working because they have to and it sucks to see so many lazy ass workers out here especially in the valley because we're trying to grow this place and it should be getting better not worse read more

Absolutely loved the taste! Fresh tasting food for a change! Came in for lunch with my beautiful wife. Had a Burrito, which is huge and packed with your choice of fillings. Loved the Carnitas I chose as my protein. They were tasty and soft. My wife had the chicken which had a specific seasoning and added great flavor. Chips and salsa add a great crunch and accompany the Burrito well. Place is clean. Staff is great and attentive. Plan to spend a good $10 or so with drink. Portion is huge. Quite honestly, we could have both eaten and been satisfied with one Burrito. But now we know for next time...which should be very soon! read more

Food orders are not checked for quality. Delivery order arrived cold. Items were extremely small servings. Order included items I did not order and missing ordered items that were ordered. Drink had particles that looked like seeds or paint chips. I was so disgusted, I threw all of the food out. I don't need food poisoning from this place. Yuck! read more

I'm in love with Chipotle, so I'm 100% for trying any location at any time ever; however, I wanted to write a review of this specific one because the staff is so unbelievably friendly, it's almost startling. I've never encountered a rude Chipotle worker, but I've never ever encountered a team like the one here. The food is always fresh and every worker greets you and makes some effort to ask how you're doing/how your day has been/ what you've been up to, etc and they're not at all overbearing about it.
