    The cut on my wrist yesterday

    I slipped on something wet on the floor inside this Chipotle yesterday. I hurt my wrist badly enough that blood was literally dripping down my entire arm. The employees saw me fall and not one of them expressed any concern at all. I asked for a first aid kit and was told that they didn't have one. When I said I knew they must have one, the employee Mariah handed me a single small band-aid. I asked for something to stop the blood running down my arm and she handed me a single paper towel and then told me I "should have wiped my feet" when I came in. I asked for her manager and a young woman named Aubrey came out and was completely unsympathetic. I said they should put down a "wet floor" sign and she said that wasn't my concern. I asked again for a first aid kit and she also said there wasn't one, all she could give me was a second band-aid. I had to go to Walgreens to buy a bandage for my wrist. I left a puddle of blood on the floor and counter and it was not cleaned up by the employees. They clearly don't care about anything!

    Since this Chipotle location went up they have had consistent issues with their order terminal and have had to close the doors on people a few times. Yesterday after working 11 hours straight painting, we ordered Chiptole via smartphone on our hour drive back home, to be picked up via Chipotolane. We were exhausted, had 4 cats waiting on dinner, and wanted to get home ASAP. Order 7B2-GA7 pickup at 6:40. Upon arriving there was a massive queue of cars into the parking lot. We attempted to go in to pick-up instead of waiting in Chipotolane only to meet a locked door with a note that they had computer issues and could only take online orders. After waiting for some time I finally get out of our car to go knock on the door to find out what was going on as the line was NOT moving. A woman waiting outside with a kid on her hip tells me they aren't answering the door. I knock hard on the glass. The manager is yelling at me from afar as if I can hear that. I am yelling back and put my phone confirmation up to the window. She comes over and is hollering through the window. I finally yell back that I can't hear her. Finally she opens the door and I ask her what is going on and she is immediately defensive, instead of apologetic or understanding that we are paid customers waiting -forever-, and says they only just got the chicken and are getting it ready. I say - I didn't order chicken...and ask Why don't you have someone out here telling people what is going on? She says she doesn't have anyone to send out. She says they are filling the online orders. I leave and get back in the car, frustrated. We decide to wait as we already paid and hope this chicken situation is quickly resolved and we are famished. Once you are locked in Chipotolane, you cannot get out. We also surmised while waiting, that likely, our food was probably ready and sitting on the shelf since we did not have chicken. FIFTY-FIVE MINUTES LATER, we get to the window, we see the girl packing up an order. We give her our name, she goes to the waiting shelf and pulls off an order - ours. We ask how long it has been sitting here...yep, since pick-up at 6:40, almost an hour. If the Manager had only asked my name, she could have checked to see if my order was already ready since I did NOT order chicken. I ordered the plant based meat alternative Sofritas. The girl shows the manager my order ticket, the manager shrugs and says fine we can make it again. They do, it's nice and hot, we leave. No apologies for the delay, no thanks for waiting, and not even an intention in the first place to make sure they are serving freshly made food. Food sitting for an hour is just fine. Get home, cats fed, sit down to rest and eat, still in our painting clothes. Take a bite and I know instantly..this is chicken. Not Sofritas. We unwrap our halved burrito and pull out a whole lot of chicken, we re-wrap them with not much left and that was dinner. I put the chicken out for our local trash panda but even he didn't want it. So to recap: * Locked customers out instead of having an attendant to answer questions at the door * 55 minute wait for food * No communication to queued customers who couldn't get out of line once in it * No apologies or thanks for waiting at pick-up window * Wanted to pass off food that had sat 5 minutes short of an hour * Put chicken in the newly made vegan burrito order I get it was probably a S* Show for them and appreciate why the Manager was stressed out but we are paying customer and have our own thing going on. I heard a women tell her after I walked away she had a sick kid and is trying to get back home. This is your job as a Manager of a food business to serve customers whether they are angry or not. Some people are good at it, some people aren't. You have to understand where they are coming from and appreciate they aren't receiving what you set out to give them and when you don't communicate it makes it worse. We will not be going back at this point. Bad experience. Don't need those when you are tired and hungry, trying to get home.

    It's the shiny new place. Super clean. Clearly marked serpentine for the ordering line. They seem to have imported the professionals for their initial opening. The woman behind the bar was something just to watch and behold. My guess is she was born to be the person at the Chipotle food bar. Almost robotic on her memory of each question but still had a personal friendly touch. Switched from scoop to scoop effortlessly. Moved with ease and grace. My pet peeves at other locations the mixing and drips into other containers. Not here not with her in charge. A true master. Done quickly done correctly and great communication packaged and ready to go. I am not crazy about how they charge for the so called extras. Starts to make it a not so inexpensive stop. The drinks here seemed limited. I don't know if it's Covid or have they made this change everywhere but the chips seemed not to exist and were not offered as in the past. Overall a great experience. The food is Chipotle. Plenty of it. Lots of good ingredients. More of a fill me up place than a I'm looking for flavor or something authentic. They do have a drive thru for phone ahead orders seemed to work perfectly as I ate and watched. Cars came in seemed to not wait and r cieve their orders and off they went. Even multiple cars arriving seemed to be served and on their way with very little delay. Maybe the way to go to avoid any Covid crowding. The indoor space was a little tight and limited in the ability to social distance. Very clean quickly turned around and cleaned ready for the next guest.
