We had a good experience at Qdoba, but I'm only giving 4 stars, because the restaurant experience wasn't as good as what they provided at events they've catered; but I still found it very flavorful -- much better than the national chain located across the freeway. Another reason for not giving 5 stars is the ordering leaves much to be desired. The website lists some preset items you can order and then customize (ala Subway), at the cafe, the only way to do it is build your own from the start. I would really prefer a few established basics to start with, rather than having to tell them every single thing I want in my bowl (or burrito). With all that said, I really enjoyed my bowl -- I got adobo chicken, cilantro lime rice, pinto beans, pico de gallo, romaine lettuce, jalapeños, guac, and hot sauce. The adobo chicken has a nice grilled flavor, and the rest of the toppings combined for a tasty experience. Got a chicken bowl. It was very very filling. The staff were nice and appeared to all wear masks and gloves from what I remembered. Some tables were blocked off for social distancing. As for the bowls, they have us lots of options to add to them. The chicken itself had a good flavor. There are tables on the side by the parking lot and then more on the Wilsonville street side. Those were not clean. Bird poop, tried food and trash. That forced us to the tables by the parking lot which were ok. Took off a star for the condition of the tables. $8.50 will get you a Chicken Queso Burrito, a regular sized drink, and it'll leave you with two cents left over to write a review here on yelp. Qdoba is your typical semi-fast food restaurant (a la Subway). You place your order and they slap it together while you walk down the production line greedily make your selections, and ask for "a little more of that please." Over all the food is good, but if you have superior tastes such as I, then you know that cilantro is one of the worst flavors in the world (It's right up there with brussel sprouts and dog turds), and their rice is a cilantro lime rice. YUCKY! I asked if they had plain rice, and they said "No." I asked for brown rice, and they said "No" again! No alternatives to their filthy cilantro rice, so I had to go rice-less. That made for a very slim burrito in my over sized hand. :( My burrito was still good, but until they get some other rice options I probably wont be back. Don't let this review stop you cilantro lovers from coming here though. You'll probably enjoy this place quite a bit. read more

Had never eaten at Qdoba Mexican grill before. I suppose that it is somewhat like other fast-food Mexican restaurants, such as Baja Fresh. The difference is that I REALLY liked the food they served. Hubby had a quesadilla and the tortilla soup. Both were very good. I had the beef tacos, two is plenty for me, but he gave me the soft taco, I thought I could have hard or soft, but it's took late, I enjoyed every crumb! I was craving for chips & salsa, and the manager even threw in a free bowl of tortilla chips and salsa - because we were first time customers. Did he actually heard ME, thinking I wanted to 'order' those, too? LOL It was pouring rain, when we went there, and we sat by a window facing the parking lot. One of worst nachos I've ordered anywhere! Queso cheese super watery sogging chips in less than 3 minutes, and mostly pooled at bottom of bowl. Nachos so salty they were inedible! It's a fresh take on mexican food with some creative ideas around flavors. I had the Ancho-chile-bbq pork burrito. I really enjoyed the flavor. I also liked the large selection of fillings to go in your burrito once you settle on the meat and sauce. This place only opened a few weeks ago, the interior looks great and the staff was friendly. My wife wanted the Quacamole and chips, I preferred the 3 cheese Queso - for $1.20 more we had one order with both dips and that was a great solution. Adding some lime to the chips is a great combination. There is an option to select two of their items instead of only having to choose one. I will need to go back a couple of times to see how well those combinations work out. read more

Love Qdoba, and the ease of putting together something you can eat. They're very new and haven't been open long at this location, so I was pleased and slightly surprised to go through the ordering process just as I have at well-established Qdoba locations, with no hitches, problems, or confusion. The staff were VERY friendly and helpful, and the food was the usual good quality. Only odd thing is this shiny new store has a lot of barstool-height tables inside. There is some normal-height seating but a LOT of extra-tall - useless to people in wheelchairs, people who for whatever reason can't sit safely/comfortably on the taller chairs, and of course, those of us with small children. Those tall tables look very nice, but no one used them while I was there and if they were all that was available and I was with my son, I'd have to leave again. I'm not sure what the restaurant was thinking, putting in so many of them. read more

I often visit Wilsonville and local friend enjoys this place much more than Chipotle. I was always a Chipotle fan but I never quite knew why. Well I tried out this place and it's better! Besides having better tasting ingredients, their queso is the best! We often splurge for a thing of queso and chips. The staff is often very friendly and warm. We went to them just have a day and it looks like they've recently changed their menu. I actually kind of like the change. It's a bit more simple and to the point. Next time I go I really want to try the advertised pulled pork burrito. Also they have breakfast items, which I really do hope I get to try someday! Anyway, Chipotle is just across the freeway but this place keeps it classy. Definitely going to keep my business! I've been here a handful of times and I've always enjoyed it. They have the staple options other burrito bars have, but they also have grilled veggies, which is a big bonus for me. I also like the fact that instead of just the same old burrito, you have different burrito options they can make for you as well. One annoying problem that I always seem to have with Burrito Bars is that by the time I get about 3/4 of the way thru my burrito, juice from the meat/salsa is streaming out of the bottom and the last quarter of the burrito tends to fall apart in my hands. I can't say I've ever had that problem with Qdoba, so another big bonus. Prices are comparable to other burrito bars as well. read more

Really quite good! Went on Friday night. Place was clean and service was notably attentive and friendly. Though there are a number of "burrito bar" establishments trying to make their mark against competitors like Chipoltle, this one succeeds on a few different levels... First...they have queso. And it's not bad. Want to turn it up a notch? They've got a fire-branded queso just for you. Next, their meats are really well seasoned and done quite nicely. The pork, for instance, was marinated in a combination on lemon and other flavors and gave it a great flavor. Third...their burrito artists are generous with the portions. You walk out of here hungry, it's your own fault. I could find nothing to knock them down on other than this is a fast food chain, and I generally don't do chain stores. I've had Qdoba at events and the food was good. So we decided to order carryout tonite. I ordered at 6:12on and it was promised for 6:30. When I showed up, I went to the carryout area and was completely ignored while the cashier rang up the person in front of me. When they left, I thought she would acknowledge me. Nope. She started ringing up the next person. Didn't even look at me even though I was 2 feet in front of her. After she rang up the next person, I asked if my order was ready. She looked confused and asked if it was an online order. I said yes, and she said it wasn't ready. I watched as she and another employee went to the printer, look at the tickets and start making my food. By now it's 6:45. When I asked if they were just now making my food, the guy gave me some excuse about glitches in the system. Then the guy tells me they are out of guacamole, which I saw them give to the person who ordered while I stood waiting. If they'd have made our food when the order was called in, we would have had guacamole!!! Ok, so at least we'd have not food, right? Wrong. When we got it home (a 5 minute drive) the only thing hot was the rice. Speaking of which, my chicken burrito bowl was 90% rice, 7% beans and 3% chicken. My husband's steak burrito was cold and was more beans than anything. The steak was dry and gristley. Although the guy was nice, the blond girl should not have been at the register. No personality!! I keep getting their vegetarian burrito: cilantro rice, pinto beans, cheese with sour cream and guacamole, corn salsa and a little strip of that sauce!
