I was annoyed by the fact that my Burrito said it was $9 on the menu, then they said it would be $12 at the window (fine, I guess, Taxes?) but then the person in the window thrust an ipad in my face to ask for a tip. I don't normally tip for things I have to order standing up or through a window... Tipping is usually for waiters or very exceptional service (and they have a tip bucket outside already, so I could have tipped if I wanted to). But they don't really give you the option to not tip. Lady in the window was rude and didn't speak english very well so I could not understand what she was saying. So all of a sudden my $9 burrito cost $15 just from them bilking me out of money and not being clear about the price. Again, whatever --- If It's a good burrito I'll overlook that. The problem was, it wasn't a good burrito. My Shrimp burrito had like 4 small shrimp in it and about 2 lbs of rice and spicy veg, and didn't have a great amount of flavor. Worst quesadilla that I never ordered. Seriously, the quesadillas are awful and my stomach hates me for eating this. It's a blob of grease and cheese wrapped in a soggy tortilla. No sides either. Muchas: I will never order a quesadilla from you! If you are going to get my order wrong, please give me anything else. I can't count how many times my order has been wrong, but this is the second time this year that they've given me a quesadilla that I didn't order. I regretted eating it the first time. Eating it the second time was just stupidity and desperation on my part. I attempted to order the fish tacos tonight, but they were out of fish. No problem, I ordered a torta. If I can give this place no stars I totally would. Every single time we come we ask for no beans on our fries and they put beans. Finally today they put no beans but we asked for half two different meats and they only put one meat, while charging us like $7 for it on top of the original price. Seems like they never can get anything right. On top of that the girl taking our order was so rude, cut us off before we can even tell her no beans. Honestly, avoid this Muchas if you can. Went into the restaurant. Asked if they had a Taco Salad, the wait person said Yes. But it was Chicken--I asked if I could have ground beef, they said yes, for an extra dollar. I said no. Asked for a beef tostada: a lot of beans, a small amount of overcooked beef with fried potatoes in the mix, a couple of tablespoons of fresh (not bagged) lettuce, and a thimble of finely grated cheddar cheese. I asked for a side of water and was charged an extra quarter for that. Not sure if that is even legal in the state of Oregon. The last 3 times I've come through the drive thru, the order taker was rude and snappy and acted like they didn't want to take my order. The old location (next door) was kinda gross. The building was old and dirty, orders took forever, and they were seldom correct. BUT the current location (where my beloved Taco Time was) is MUCH better! I've been there a few times and the food quality is now greatly improved over the old, and not one order has been messed up. Very spicy chili verde! I am very picky when it comes to a good chili verde burrito but this one had the heat for sure which was a huge plus for me. The pork could have been a little more tender but over all I would give the burrito 8/10. I will be back to try more of the menu. I go in to find the only two workers chatting and no one else inside AND someone waiting at the window... 24 hour access to guacamole is all I needed in life. The food is usually pretty solid. Nothing to call home about but definitely qualifies as better than Taco Bell. I do love the super fries or the nachos. They're loaded and delicious. Horchata is good. I'm a college student so 24 hour food is appreciated. The service is nothing special.
