Rude horrible staff. Food is gross. I need more characters but there isn't a whole lot of ways to say this place sucks.

The food is hit and miss here; I'm a local so I get it probably maybe once a month and about every other time my orange chicken is great and then the next time it's crusty and crunchy and hard and the next time it's great so I mean it when I say it's hit and miss. As is the service, one time I'll order through the drive-through and they'll give me several napkins couple soy sauces and a fork without asking, and then other times I go through and I'm surprised they even threw the fork in the bag because that's literally all they threw in the bag besides the food ... sooo just keep that in mind; it's a gamble - therefore, 3stars for me. read more

Employee that waited on me was very rude ,ordered 2 bowls but they were cooking chow mein so she (only female working), filled 1 bowl full of rice (?) and the other half. I asked if she could even them out and she made a sound of disgust and then pushed them to the next employee for entree. This place was mismanaged!!! Just picked up dog from surgery at vet and thought "Wow, Panda sounds good! It has a drive through. I gonna give it a go!" 20 minutes in line (okay, it got busy and I understood this) then was told to wait out front another 5 minutes for chow mein. It was going on 10 minutes and I went in to pick up order... now we are waiting for honey walnut shrimp. The workers looked all glassy eyed and scared (I kid you not). Mind you I had my pooch in the car and needed to get home. I stood around another 5 and got my order, they knew I wasn't amused but tried to stay somewhat polite. Got home and realized they left part of an order out. I live 26 minutes away. Needless to say I called them back (unhappy). And literally told them they needed to get their act together. I decided to order online for pick up today because I was craving Panda. When I arrived I followed the signs for pick up and gave my name. There was one person waiting ahead of me. When the runner brought out her food she again asked me my name. Anyway, I have half an hour on my lunch break and 15 minutes were burned standing outside waiting for my order. There were two cars in the drive thru when I arrived and those cars were in and out in no time. Maybe next time I'll just drive they instead of ordering online for a specific time. Food was fresh. Restaurant was clean and out of the 7 employees there only one was the friendliest. The friendly girl helped my boyfriend and gave him great food portions. The girl that helped me seemed to not want to work and when I got my rice bowl she hardly gave me any orange chicken. This location is totally hit or miss, more miss lately. Tonight I ordered on-line. When I arrived the stores front door was locked with a sign Togo thru the drive-thru. It took nearly 20 minutes to finally get to the window. My order was already bagged and was sitting on a shelf. I suggested it had been sitting a long time, the manage4 said she would remake the order. When I got home 5 minutes later, everything was basically cold. I doubt the order was redone, but 5hats just my guess. My experience is that they are either out of things, super slow, even on an on-line order or just so disorganized it's not fun coming here. The service here has always been consistent for the last 7/8 months I have lived right up the road, nothing special but also always delicious. I went there tonight and had the pleasure of being served by Edgar and now I want to go back every day after work. We didn't answer because we ordered teriyaki chicken with vegetables. After not finding anyone he came over and asked if our receipt said orange chicken. We checked and it noticed it did, but we didn't order orange chicken. It was incorrectly input but before we could get out "we did but..." he slammed the entree on the table and walked away. When my husband got there at 4:05, the order was already sitting on the counter, so by the time he got home, the food was stone cold. In comparing the portion sizes for each large plate, they were very inconsistent, one plate had about 1 1/2 cups of teriyaki chicken, and another just a couple of pieces. I went through the drive-thru to grab a plate around 9 p.m. The person didn't have any forks, so I took it as an opportunity to learn how to use chopsticks. When the food entered my car, it smelled sour, but I'd never had a problem with Panda, and so I figured it was fine. But when I got home, i realized it was the food that smelled sour. I won't be eating it, it clearly had been sitting too long. I understand it's late and avoiding making food that would potentially go to waste. The last couple times I've been through here have been bad, including a drive through order that took 28 minutes. They had me park and asked me to wait 4 minutes for super greens. After 20 I went inside and they had completely forgotten about my order. This time I drove through and they asked me to park and wait because they didn't have either of the items I was ordering. I politely declined and changed my order. I ordered a plate with noodles, shrimp, and orange chicken I got 5 shrimp, a half serving of noodles, and a half serving of chicken. Never going back. I am obsessed with panda, but this is the third time I was quoted 7-10 minutes, and I am going on 30 sitting in this clustered parking lot with no food unfortunately. They REALLY need to do a better job mid day at keeping food items available. If I were to come on my lunch break and have this happen I would be pretty dang upset. I ordered this bowl off of DoorDash and paid $20. I just got off of a 14 hour day at work and my girlfriend was home all day with our newborn daughter. She was hungry and given the price nor my specific predicament is on the restaurant itself my girlfriend and I were very disappointed to open up to see about 4 pieces of chicken and half of the bowl full of noodles. I understand it's closer to closing but I feel like the quality should be maintained throughout the time of the establishment being opened. Her hunger is not satisfied nor am I happy with the quality of service, especially for how much I paid. Do not go to this location! I decided to go during my lunch break (BIG mistake). They asked me if I could pull to the front to wait for my food. They quoted me 8 mins to cook my entree, which I was fine with, but it took about 40 minutes instead!!! If this was the case I would have ordered something else! I feel like this is my least favorite Panda. The parking lot has a lot of construction going on so it wasn't the easiest going in/ out of let alone finding a parking spot. I decided to get some food in the drive thru, and park in the Fred's lot to eat while waiting around for my pet at the vet. The two stars are for the food. I have tasted better at other Panda locations, and also felt like I got nothing but the bottom scrapings of the noodles. It was nothing but huge chunks of onion. ( I hate onion) No noodles, and if there was noodles it was minute traces that looked chopped the h e double chop sticks up if you get my drift...the only thing I did like was the honey walnut shrimp, which ended up being a very, very small portion! I was a little disturbed about that considering they make sure to let you know you are paying extra for the dish. Well yeah, I can read the prices. This is the dish I want! Don't skimp! I think the other one I ordered was the pepper chicken. Oh joy! They over loaded the crap out of the container with that dish! You could barely even see the chop job noodles, let alone the skimped on honey walnut shrimp! I get this place is fast food, but come on! You are paying close to what you pay for a nice meal else where! I expect to get what I pay for! This won't detour me from stopping in on occasion to any of the other locations I may be near, but I don't think I will be back to this location for a while. I was pretty disappointed to say the least, and was not able to finish the meal I payed for unless I wanted to eat nothing but chopped up onions basically. Really not sure why it has such bad reviews. Yes the lines are long at times and yes they may run out of certain items and you have to wait. Normally I wouldn't write a review for a fast-food chain unless it had exemplary customer service or something annoying/horrible happened... and here I am... I got a plate which has 2 entrees and a side, and the person servicing me gave my "plate" portions that would be served to a bowl order (?) payed $2 extra for a plate that normally gives me leftovers... not fun. Like, the mindset of going to fast food is to get fast food and for a cheap price. And, it's delivering the same-ish experience/food to any location because... it's a ... chain. And not to exaggerate, but the food portions on my plate would actually be more comparable to a kid's meal size. Like really? I just wanted an expected size order so I can keep on with my busy life. One of the worst Panda Express locations I've ever experienced. They consistently forget items and fail to secure the lids of sauces so we not only end up with a bag full of sauce and sticky boxes, but we're usually short one or two. After sitting in the drive through for ten minutes for them to cook more teriyaki chicken, it's irritating to get home and find that they forgot to put it in the bag. It is worth driving to Sherwood for carry out, despite the fifteen minute drive home, at least they don't screw up your order. read more

So my wife just went to the restaurant. Which we have gone to roughly 5 times since this stay at home order started. I love Chinese food. This will however be our last time visiting this one. My wife was told her card declined and was then laughed at by the staff. She told the employee we have plenty of money in that account and asked them to run in again. The employees response "nope, it declined." It wasn't until she gave them A different card that they were willing to run it. I find this both pathetic and infuriating. Yesterday Friday, it was late already, did not feel like cooking, so I thought I would try it one more time. Upon going thru the drive thru, I was very specific to the person at the window, and I asked if the food was fresh, I mentioned the fried rice and chow mein, I asked twice and she said yes(730pm) by the way. Got my order, sat down to eat and the food was "lukewarm, fried rice and chow mein OLD, and it was a disaster!! Do the Owners or Corporate even care or READ THESE COMMENTS??? Or what?? Or do they just don't care because they make so much money??? Sure hope that someone will READ my comment, because I will make sure to spread the word around Newberg about my experience. Ordered online - kung pow chicken and orange chicken with chow mein noodles. When I got home and opened the food carton everything was mixed together it looked like it had been dropped. And I did not receive the orange chicken. They must have been down to the bottom of the pan of orange chicken because all I got was a few pieces of chicken with little breading and no orange flavor. Every time we go to Panda they are out of things. Tonight, they were out of walnut shrimp, beef broccoli, fried rice and when I asked for 3 egg rolls they only had 2. Only gave them a 1 star because count do 0 stars I know restaurants are having a hard time, but there is always a line at Panda Express why I have no idea their supper busy and they cut every corner they can. Several times we have gone and they are out of rice, RICE at 5pm on a Friday, have the manager go to Safeway or Freddy's and by some bags. No sauce for the teriyaki chicken, spring rolls or any other entree. There are other restaurants that are struggling and appreciate customer's, will be going some of those next time. read more
