I paid $22 for a bowl filled with mostly rice. Super heavy handed on the brown rice, scarce with the carne asada. One light scoop. I came before around the time they first opened and I remember a pleasant experience, we're in Sequim and don't come out this way too often, except in the summer which is the last time I came. Half of the bowl had zero meat, it was a ratio of about 1 piece of meat per 4 bites of rice, beans, lettuce and guac. Employees play favorites, fill up coworkers bowls and gives them extra. I also have peppers in here and didn't order any I give one star because it's enough we won't come back. For $20 I could've got a decent steak. I wrote above when it was fresh, but I got food poisoning from here. I thought maybe it was a fluke, I was the only one in my family that ate here and got sick, but I thought maybe it was something else. By far the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. The line is always dirty and they just slide the bowls right through the mess. They cannot wrap a burrito, the manager completely avoided helping us, and there's just a general vibe of incompetence and disengagement. Ordered ahead, got there at the exact time, and was a bit disappointed that the food was cold, but I understand they were busy and maybe prepared the food too early. If you've read the other reviews you might be better prepared for a frustrating experience. Chipotle seems to be set up correctly for fast service but this location requires some additional training. I could see that the staff should be working as a team but in reality each staff member appeared to be working on their own agenda. Where you order are containers of ingredients. You order, they make the food, you and the food along to the register, much like that chain of sandwich shops accross America. This is the design, but could not be executed as several of the food bins were empty at 5:30pm on a Saturday evening. This results in a very slow agonizing customer experience. There were only 3 people ahead of us, but a father and son left without ordering due to the inefficiency of the staff. My girlfriend ordered a burrito and it was as if nobody had ever trained the staff how to make a burrito. Growing up in the southwest I am familiar with the process. This place loaded a flour tortilla in the middle of the tortilla then folded the top, bottom and sides over on themselves as if they were making an envelope out of the tortilla. It looked bad but the server gave it an extra squeeze as if that would make it a burrito. ​​20 minutes to order and pay, so we took the food with us. The bag leaked in the car during the short ride home. Sadly in our haste to leave Chipotle, we neglected to check our bag of food. When we arrived home part of our order was missing. Stopped here after a very long trip just looking for a comfortable bite to eat. The line was medium long but took a pretty long time. The guy serving us had such a disgusting attitude on him ruining our experience; then it came time to make the burrito. Guy was so aggravated he started throwing beans around; slapping them on the tortilla like a wild maniac. He couldn't figure out how to roll it up so he started folding it and massaging it in one of the craziest ways anyone could imagine. I would give this place zero stars but in the very least we were able to eat something that somewhat resembled a burrito. The crowd in there was rambunctious college aged kids as well not a very pleasant atmosphere. In no way, shape or form do I recommend this place. The staff needs more training everyone seemed really confused and there was an air of panic about the place. The restaurant it's self was in okay shape. Floors were a little dirty. The food was pretty standard for a chipotle. Portions were a little off. I'd recommend trying to spread the food out evenly in the bowl rather than making a pile that leaves exposed bowl on both sides. Good potential and room to improve. This chipotle doesn't offer a military discount which is unusual for chipotle especially one in a military town. Room for improvement but gets the job done. read more

On July 5, while vacationing in the Pacific Northwest, my 12 year old son was excited to eat at Chipotle in Port Angeles. The restaurant was extremely busy due to the holiday weekend and had run out of several items, including chicken, pico de gallo, and guacamole--his favorites. He ended up ordering the new honey chicken bowl with white rice, corn salsa, and sour cream. In the early morning of July 6, 2025, my son, began experiencing severe symptoms including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain after consuming food from this Chipotle. I am deeply concerned about the possibility of other individuals being affected and would like to request an investigation into this matter. read more

This is not a review of the quality of the food, or of the dreaded tiny portion sizes of Chipotle. The flavor of the food was exactly what one expects at Chipotle, and the portions were decently sized. I went in hungry, and my burrito was large enough that I couldn't finish it. This review is about the cleanliness of the store. We arrived at Chipotle at around 9:30 PM. There was no line, and the staff was quick to greet us and begin taking our order. My partner and I (who both have several years of experience working in the food/hospitality industry) quickly noticed that the kitchen was in a state of complete disarray. Old dried out food covered the prep area of the service line, many of the foods had fallen into the containers of different foods, and the grill in the back was pitch black and covered in debris. The employee who was preparing our burritos let the tortillas slide through all of the crusty, dried up food on the counter. Many of the utensils bring used looked as if they had much of the same crusty food on them. The whole experience of watching our food get made was enough to give oneself an instant upset stomach. We decided to eat in the store. While we were eating, we noticed that not only was the kitchen a disaster and potentially hazardous thing, the entire restaurant looked like a tornado had gone through. Absolute mess. So excited when I heard this was opening in Port Angeles. I've tried it twice at around 5pm and both times walked out. There was no food ready to be served, none of the grills were even turned on, the front serving station and kitchen are a mess, the staff are standing around looking confused not even knowing to wipe up all the spilled ingredients, clearly need some training on kitchen hygiene and food safety. The portion sizes hear are appalling I have been going to chipotle for well over 20 years now, and in numerous states. The one here in Port Angeles will not give you proper portion sizes. Also the employees are hardly trained and the long wait times really make it difficult to even order. Just this week I had to walk out and get food from somewhere else after waiting for twenty minutes with a line of only ten people. First off the food portions were unbelievably small, couldn't fulfill a child's appetite with what they gave me. When I asked for more rice the girl slammed the scoop into the bin and just slapped it all into a pile. Also the food was cold not even room temperature and most of the bins were already empty. The floors and tables were disgusting and had garbage all over the place and the people preparing food in the back had dirty dishes next to the food being cooked. As excited as I was to try our latest restaurant, I was equally disappointed with my experience. Upon entering the restaurant, I found a griddle that was blackened and filthy as if nobody knew how to clean it. The counter prep area had dried empty food containers, and the contents of most bins were spilled over the surface area. I spent nearly 30 years in Food & Beverage management and have never seen a restaurant crew with such lack of understanding cleanliness. This is a management and training problem. Horrible. I walk in, one gal is wiping down the tables and greets me. I walk up to the counter and there's 3 workers, one with their hands in a big bowl of whatevs, the other two are talking gossip to each other with a phone in their hand. They all have their backs to me. One turns around and says, "I'll be with you in a moment." She turns around and continues her convo. Oh, I forgot to mention there's not a soul in the dining room or in line. At that point I'm waiting there for what? For them to wrap up their gossip talk. I decide to use the restroom and leave. The rest of the shop was dirty and unkept. Chipotle may have shot themselves in the foot opening a location in such a remote place. There's a serious lack of management and this review matches all the others before me. I was actually excited they had opened a Chipotle here, being from SoCal. I wish that this review could've been a compliment to the Port Angeles Chipotle. I have been to many Chipotles in kitsap county and couldn't give them a bigger compliment and appreciation for how they greet you when you first walk in, and not to mention the portions they serve!! As a person that lives in Port Angeles I was excited and was expecting the same service (as it is a chain restaurant). Tonight I came in with one of my friends and as we were going through the line, the man that had started our order was very patient and kind with speaking to us. While he was taking our order the GM (Vanessa) was bossing him around as if he was doing his job wrong? Asking for things she could've easily gotten herself and interrupting him taking care of us. He got her what she rudely asked for and continued making our bowls. She then cut in the line and took over making our order, rushing the other two employees making our bowls. We understand "fast food" but to be blatantly rude to coworkers in front of customers is disappointing and disrespectful. The girl had asked what salsas we would like, the last step before checking out, and I said I didn't need any salsa the GM then rushed her (yelling "go, go, go, hurry) to check us out. There were maybe 6 people in line. I have to say that nobody should be talked to or treated like that.
