Honestly, I don't even know where to start. I ordered a burger and fries, and the burger looked nothing like the picture--barely any toppings and the bun was soggy. The fries were cold and tasted like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. On top of that, the staff seemed completely overwhelmed and didn't even bother to check if I got the right order. This is the only place my sister wants to go. She is developmentally disabled, and this is her place. She, my parents, and I went there today. They had her order out to her at her table before we were even done at the counter. They know what she wants and how she wants it, and are very understanding about her disability. The manager is very unprofessional and rude when problems arise. Ordered 6 McDoubles, plain BOGO, she put 5 in the computer. She even confirmed 6 by repeated it back to us. Go to pay, and there was only 5 on the receipt when we picked up the food, she said she couldn't fix it and we had to come around. They did not honor the bogo and wouldn't hear what we had to say before slamming the window on us and threatening to call the police. They never get the food right. I mean, it's McDonald's, what can you expect? For what it is, it's great. Food comes out hot and fresh for the most part and the employees are always friendly. And the ice cream machine doesn't break ;) I only have one complaint. The first drive-thru waiting area is located... Right in front of the drive-thru. I know I'm not the only one that's been thrown off by it, and I can't think of any other McDonald's that does it. I've only been asked to wait there once but I felt like I was in the way and like an obstruction, and in fact I wasn't sure if I was even in the right spot. They said it's there right at the speed hump so the employees don't have to cross, but their other 2 waiting areas plus the mobile order waiting areas are all across the street, so I'm not sure why it's like that... Has there been a significant incidence of employees getting hit? Do they not feel safe? I get that but I think there are better solutions, especially during COVID when people can't come into the restaurant anyway. read more

Went through the driveway while I was visiting town, and found a hair in my French fries. Called the store to notify them of the issue and the "manager" on duty told me I was lying. She said there was no way there was a hair in my food but I have a picture of it. This was a terrible experience. I couldn't believe how rudely I was treated. I frequent this McDonalds pretty often and during this visit I asked for "Fries, o salt" . The guy said if you want fresh fries just say "cool to order"! Bad experience here today! As per normal, young people with poor listening skills. The front counter person did not input the correct order, thus did not get the "meal". Had to make a separate order to get the missing part of the meal. Was approached by another employee ( young girl, brown pony tail), that was approaching me from behind, and was told in a rude tone " excuse me". The second order was place, and the young blond girl said; We'll call your name when its ready to be picked up! What really; you screwed up my order and you want me to come back up to the counter and pick it up? Rude! You screwed up, not me blonde! I don't know why this McDonald's is ranked so poorly but honestly this is probably one of the best McDonald's that I've ever been to. I've gone here multiple times and have never had a problem with it. If you're looking for some quick inexpensive take out, this is the place. I once observed my friend's rotund orange tabby cat get his head stuck in a McDonald's bag and found it hilarious, to which my friend responded: "I think even single celled organisms love McDonald's French fries." It is important to note that this bag only contained french fries-- no meat, no condiments-- just delicious, hot golden fries. And if you love fries like I do, you can appreciate McD's fries. Now I'm not a fast food person but I think it's good to be honest about our food indulgences from time to time. The drive through is fast, friendly and efficient. The food is neatly packed. Can't speak to many products here as I only eat their fries, orange drinks (delish!!!), and an occasional McFlurry (with mini M&Ms!!!). But that is all I need from my McD's-- good fries an orange drink and a whole lot of American nostalgia. read more

I recently watched that documentary about Ray Kroc and was inspired about that "thing" that he was going for with franchisees. This particular McDonalds is that "thing". There are not a lot of drive-thru options in Port Angeles. McDonald's is convenient and generally has good food. I've eaten here way more than I want to admit. So being a regular customer, and having employees recognize you, you would think that when I brought up a complaint it would have some weight. I said to the drive through employee, whom I've seen multiple times, that the last time I came through my Buttermilk Chicken sandwich was really bad. There was something wrong with the meat. It was hard and flat and I spit out the first bite because something was really off. It's a sandwich that I've had dozens of times. They are usually great. So what was the response? "Let us know if it happens again." Wow. Did I feel like a special customer. I was sick after taking the bite and couldn't return for a couple weeks. So, yeah, if it happens again I probably won't ever be back Jack! (Not hinting that I'd go to Jack in the Box because they are consistently bad). i give this place zero but put 5 stars only because a sweet and special person works here and that is the only reason i came to this location. I took my son here on Sunday evening 15 minutes before closing. My son was with me and we decided on this location because we both wanted to see his friend. we ordered and our friend handed us our food and my son told her he was going to come inside and use the bathroom. I pulled around the front and as soon as i did an associate that knows my son walked up and locked the door. it was 10 minutes till closing. So I was pissed and i checked my transmission fluid because i was parked. i would like to know this policy. The kiosk order didn't meet my needs. I order a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Something went wrong and no coffee was on my order. I didn't notice there was no coffee on the order. I clicked on the menu to pay at counter. I went to counter and asked for my coffee. She said,"you don't get coffee because you didn't order coffee".
