I usually don't have any issues with Chipolte, but last night was the worse. First of all if you know that your all out of a certain item it would be great to let your customers know that before hand (I.e. post a sign.) so they don't have to wait in a line for 20 minutes. I go to this chipotle often and I never really have any problems, but the last time I came in I was disgusted by the blatantly racist service. I came in with a friend that lived part of her youth in a foreign country before becoming an American citizen and as a result of that she has an accent. As soon as she walked up to the the gentleman to start her order he started making little subliminal jokes. He'd give her a hard time about what she asked for, look around at his coworkers and look at me with a smirk on his face to see if he got a reaction. Then he'd pretend he couldn't understand her and would make her repeat herself SEVERAL times for each side she asked for and again looked around as if it was comical. When we stepped out of the line to get drinks she whispered to me "Why was he making fun of me?" In a very confused and innocent tone. And I'm wondering the same thing, why did he harass and mock this young woman who's giving this store business? Needless to say if that action is tolerated at this chipotle, I will not be coming back. read more

Came here to pick up a mobile order, and I got to the register right when it was supposed to be ready. The woman at the register ignored me and seemed irritated when I asked if this is where i pick up the mobile orders. when she asked someone if they had my mobile, they said no and didn't even look for it. finally the guy at the grill was like "oh here's the ticket" - they hadn't even started it. they were just really nasty there. chipotle used to have such great customer service - i'll definitely being going to different locations in the future. read more

In spite of the bad rap Chipotle has received of late, they still put out some mighty tasty food. I've been at Strong all week visiting my patient husband, and needed something other than hospital food. I got a salad with beef barbacoa with all the toppings. The beef was really moist and delicious and the lettuce and toppings were fresh. My only complaint is that the price was a little high. The salad and s bag of chips were about $10. Would have been nice had the salad cane with a few chips. Otherwise, great stuff! read more

Perfect portion servings every time and their meat is never dry or tough, it is always made the right way. I love Chipotle. I've visited their stores in at least six different cities. Their food is always fresh, tasty and generous for the price. Just not THIS location. Every time I come to this one, the wait is 30 mins, it takes 3-4 corrections to get the order right, they skimp on the ingredients and the employees are not sanitary. Tonight the kid who served me pulled up his pants from the back with his gloved hands, then preceded to roll my tacos with them. Then when I pointed out (apparently over the glass partition) that, whoops, he was putting the wrong items on, he stopped cold, looked at me wide eyed and yelled, 'STAY BEHIND THE GLASS!!'. Apparently he thought I was about to jump the counter and steal more steak, not pointing at some peppers. I admire Chipotle's policies to keep the food clean. Perhaps they could let their employees in on what s-a-n-i-t-a-r-y means? Thankfully, his scream saved the day, and my deadly microbes did not float onto their lettuce, because those would have been so much worse than this kid's butt particles on my food. Also, if you do visit this location, you may want to budget an extra $6-8 on top of your meal, because you'll need to go to Taco Bell or Mighty Taco when you're done, to actually get some food. Unless 10 pieces of rice and four 1/4" pieces of steak on your taco is worth $5.95 to you. read more

I don't come to chipotle too often but when I do I am always happy. I met a few friends here before we went to the strong museum of play for a quick and easy meal. I was very surprised to see how dead it was but that is okay it let us take over. The food line always goes very quickly and the staff are always helpful and patient while you figure out what you would like. I always go for a chicken bowl, my husband always goes for a burrito. There is a pretty good variety of items you can put in your meal and at the end you get a couple pounds of amazing and filling food. The thing I like about chipotle is that it really does fill me up which isn't the case for a lot of fast food restaurants. I feel like I get what I pay for here. The dining area is very spacious and has a large amount of low tables. There is also a lot of counter seating along the windows. It is also clean which is really nice. I seriously enjoy chipotle and would come back to this location if I was close by. read more

This is one of the best chipotles I have been to. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly and I'm always greeted with so much warmth. Catering is really easy with them also. I love Chipotle's and wish there were more around town! I always get the burrito but if you're trying to avoid carbs you can get get the bowl--but what's the fun in that? The meat is so flavorful and I really like the white rice (not sure what's in it??). All the ingredients are fresh. If they can't get it fresh, they don't offer it, which is refreshing! (bah dum bah!) The burritos are always huge and if you ask them to add a little bit more of something, they will, for no extra charge! So if you want your money to go farther, try to restrain yourself and save half for later! read more

As other reviewers have stated, chipotle burritos are basically the same no matter where you go. I personally find them delicious. The service at the Mt hope location is the same at any other location, hit or miss. There are some extremely friendly people working at the Mt hope location who I enjoy seeing when I'm grabbing a burrito on my way into work, and then there are some employees who really look like they don't want to be there. As someone who has worked previously in food service, I don't hold this against them. The only thing I wish was different is if they had another register open strictly for pickup orders, as they seem to be the main cause of line congestion, especially around lunch time. They clean their rice cookers with a de-greaser that is not food safe! This is a FACT! when i was being served, I heard one employee state this fact to another employee out of concern for the customers! I guess the de-greaser is to clean sludge out of stuff in the dishes/ kitchen area. This makes me wonder about the quality of the rest of the food there as well! They always seem rushed, and can't hold onto staff members probably because the boss's always seem to be treating the employees like less than human. Dining area isn't clean a lot of the time, and the place gets way too crowded because of all the students coming all at once to this location at particular times of the day. Please, go to another location, though i am not sure of the cleaning practices used at other locations either. read more

This location has poor service and long wait times. About 50% of the employees are friendly or even acknowledge you. I've been here three times. All three times there were 3-6 people in front of me and I had an average wait of about 15 minutes. At other chipotle locations, a similar line would be about 2-3 minute wait time. I have had Chipotle before and always been happy with their food. Today was a different story. I ordered a burrito with chicken in it. When I first opened it up there was a rogue piece of raw onion outside of the burrito that I thought was no big deal. As I took my first bite of the burrito I tasted what I thought might be another rogue veggie in there. I THOUGHT I was eating a roasted red pepper slice because of the texture and it already had the Chipotle seasoning on it. Well, after swallowing that, I was ready to take my second bite and came across PINK, RAW CHICKEN. I called and requested to speak with the manager and the person on the phone said, "...about what?" and I proceeded to say (whilst fuming about the fact that they are being rude on top of what I know could potentially happen to my stomach in a few hours), "I would like to speak to your manager about the fact that I just ate a huge piece of raw chicken in my burrito that I just got for lunch from you!". She proceeded to put me on hold and then the manager apologized and was very kind. I walked in Chipotle at 5:30pm there were two people in front me in line. The employees working, fast but with great effort. I get up to the line at 5:30pm so it didn't take that long. I ordered a burrito bowl with white rice, onions, peppers extra chicken, lettuce, mild salsa, with extra cheese and extra sour cream. The person who was making my bowl was very nice and she took time getting my order and got everything just right. Then I get up to the cash register and the cashier was very nice, he also handed me my change and receipt instead of putting it on the counter. After that I went to go sit down at the table and the table was spotless. The food was flawless. It was delicious the lettuce was fresh, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Most likely the busiest chipotle in Rochester due to its location. Sometimes there can be a very long wait until you are ready to be served. That being said I do think they have the best tasting chicken out of all of the chipotles in Rochester. It's subtle but trust me there's something extra in there. Terrible service. Very rude staff. My friend stood at the register for 3 hours and was ignored while trying to purchase a water cup. They were out of EVERYTHING so we couldn't even eat after driving for 15 hours. There was a sauce all over the table and the garabages were spilling over. Terrible experience.
