CAN MANAGERS PLEASE....AND I MEAN PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STEP IN AND MAKE SURE THESE EMPLOYEES ARE ACTUALLY WORKING AND DOING THEIR JOBS. Both locations are so terrible. There are few times when things go okay and they have everything. But, it's very very rare. When they run out of items they just won't make anymore. I moved here from Reno, NV and even at 11pm when they were about to close they would make what you wanted even if they were about to run out, they would run to the back and make a bit more. I also grew up working in restaurants and it's really not that hard to make back ups of everything just to make sure you'll have enough for the whole night. For some reason Savannah Chipotle's (and also many other restaurants: Are full of staff that does not know how to appropriately do their mise en place, literally ever. Full of employees that have Nooo clue how to move and keep the flow of a restaurant. And also, managers do NOT EXIST). Obviously, the workers have worked there long enough to know it's probably a good idea to just prep out extra of everything just in case things get slammed. But noooo, they all just stand around - and then if you're ever to ask a single one of them if they will be making more they blank stare at you. I'm honestly amaZzzed at how crappy these people work. Good management in restaurants keeps them flowing & also keeps the staff up beat & in line. Come on Chipotle- do you have too many locations to hire managers to do weekly/daily check-in's? Or you just have too many to care? I hate crappy workers and places of business. Why own anything in the food industry if you're not going to be present to make sure things are operating properly and your employees actually get trained and know what they're supposed to do & also how they are supposed to treat customers. Too many restaurants here with poopy staff, poopy managers, & poopy food. Maybe all of the wasted tourists don't notice how crappy everything is, but sober locals do. Highly doubt anyone who can make a difference will read this, but I pray they do. Amen read more

Tonight I was looking for takeout following a long day of work. I decided on Chipotle Mexican Grill, which is a place I like! I read the reviews and decided to shop/visit, hoping for a more pleasant dining experience. 100% honesty the reviews that rated this restaurant with low stars are fitting. I entered the restaurant with a smile on my face The staff member was very dry, took my order and seriously threw my food into the plate. The food was so thrown together I should've walked away at that point. It threw me off so much that I could not properly order my meal. I had that escape feeling! I moved to the next section only to wait why a staff member organize product why my food set waiting for what felt like three minutes. Still feeling as if I was a bother I asked for the remaining ingredients and slid down to the cashier who is more pleasant. The interior of the restaurant needed some attention. Food in the station area not cleaned up as well on the tables. Got home and was so unhappy with the visual effect of my food in which I never a little the taste was decent, have the spending Monday. I feel really unpleased with the experience and quality of food. I was so hoping for a different experience. read more

Ugh why do I keep coming here knowing that they're going to disappoint me? It's just my luck that when I show up they're out of things, switching from a great line up of people to the B team who doesn't care and nothing seems right. The dinning area of Chipotle never looks as bad as it was today. There was food/trash on the seats and 1/3 of the floor. All of the hot sauces were out as well which was a bummer. I always order my bowl with carnitas and steak and the amount of meat was prank worthy. He put 6 pieces of meat on my bowl and all of the rest of the bowls behind me looked even worse. The young tall boy making the orders should be in the dish pit. I ordered 3 tortillas and he put them all in the presser together so now one was warm and the other two have already ripped and I haven't even folded them yet!!! His coworker had to tell him that's not how they do things at Chipotle. You want to be satisfied when you leave a place especially when you pay almost $23 at "fast food" for just one person. Guacamole! Always say yes to the guac. I am a fan of Chipotle. The service and fresh ingredients never let me down. A line tends to form here, heads up. Due to the service each customer receives and each bowl, burrito, salad, etc being made right in front of you. This takes time, so do not expect to walk in and out extremely quickly. It is worth it though! This particular Chipotle I tend to mobile order using their app most often. It makes my experience quick and easy. I walk in and to the left up by the register is the shelf with orders ready for pickup. The orders are marked with easy to read labels. I grab my food and go, so quick and simple! I love the burrito bowl. Chipotle has so many fresh and delicious options. My go to bowl is generally: adobo chicken, regular salsa, corn salsa, brown rice, black beans, fajita vegetables, and guacamole. Sometimes I will just get the guacamole and chips though. I just love fresh guacamole! read more

Still a Covid impact right now. Searched for place to eat for more than an hour. I first wrote everything I was going to get at an Asian fusion place because they were listed as open. After picking out menu items for people at a poker game (this is a guessing game) and making a list, I called and they were closed. So... I picked out menu items for a Chinese restaurant. I called and when they answered, I said, "Hi. Can I place an order to pick up?" The woman said, "Yes" and then put me on hold with ancient Chinese music. I didn't get a vibe with that so hung up. This is how I ended up at Chipotle, where it's the same as most Chipotle restaurants. Good service, clean, good food, stale chips. Why do so many Chipotles have stale chips? Doesn't make sense to me. Should be an easy fix. Recommended, but only if you're not getting chips. Or you could say, "May I sample a chip please?" Do that and you're a Chipotle ninja. read more

You have 20 people waiting on their orders. There are two people actually making these orders. We are all waiting for our names to be called fir the ONLINE ORDERS. What do these lazy GHETTO people do. They put the orders on the counter by the register and with such a GRUMPY bad additude the don't even bother to call out the names. I hate this place. read more

I generally don't review chain restaurants. I figure that people generally know the cuisine and restaurants they're dealing with. I usually call chain restaurants "formula cooking". And why would I, with the plethora of great Savannah, GA restaurants not support the locals. Well. I did. I was tired and got a great surprise. I got Garlic Guajillo steak, white rice, black beans and tomatillo-red chili salsa. Excellent but deadly. The salsa was fantastic but it's a killer. I was drinking milk, eating cheese, eating yogurt and chopped up the steak and mixed it with the rice and beans. But it was so good. All was balanced. As an aside the rice and beans were really good. I suspect that some folks somewhere are resurrecting the beans from dried rather than dumping cans. The beans have a nice pop. read more

Not ordering from this Chipotle location anymore. My husband and I ordered through the app and ordered one chicken burrito bowl and one veggie burrito bowl. Once he got home with our orders, we discovered my "veggie" bowl had chicken in it. All the other right toppings, just plus chicken. Receipt was correct, label was correct, just made totally wrong. I'm a vegetarian so I couldn't eat it. We have a baby at home and couldn't run back out so I did not have Chipotle for dinner that night. This was pretty much the final straw. Disgraceful!!!! We stopped in Chipotle in Florence SC at 5 pm Tuesday 1/2 it was embarrassing! ALL the trays were empty and they were out of chicken . The wait if we wanted to was 10-16 minutes . The empty trays were dirty and they were refilling these trays with small amounts of items. The staff looked like they could care less. I would never eat there this is how people get sick. They need to close this location and get new staff after a major cleaning . Sad. read more

Multiple attempts and multiple fails by this location. We LOVE chipotle. It's practically a staple of our diet. That said, I've never experienced such a disappointing series of orders as I have from this location. The first two orders came half complete. No notification, no discount, nothing. It's habitual. Almost fraudulent. Missing cheese and sour cream, missing guac. It's a pot luck. Take your chances. I can't believe management (or corporate) allows this to continue. I've been to this location 3 times in the past few weeks and have been disappointed. Previous two times the service has been awful along with the burritos. There appears to be plenty of employees but no one willing to acknowledge your existence or make your burrito. Today there were two young women that made our burritos, but it's like they had no support. Cold ingredients, undercooked rice, ingredients just straight up look like they've been prepared wrong? I've been to lots of locations so I know my chipotle ingredients and something isn't right (no green peppers in veggies, guac brown, stuff watery than usual, everything just looks off honestly). Really hoping something changes at this location soon. read more

This location has gone to absolute trash. It's disgustingly dirty, the food is gross and everything is disorganized. There are even bugs in the bathrooms so I can't imagine what the kitchen is like. To top it off, the customer service is horrible. Might as well try Moe's or Suchero's.. you'd be better off. read more

Food: The quality is a bit below normal chipotle standards. Undercooked rice, meat not cut fully, and ingredients overflowing into other ingredients. They were basically out of everything, no steak, no white rice, not fajita peppers, no queso. Service: The trend at many places in Savannah to include this one is to have zero hospitality skills and have the "get your sh*T and get out," attitude. With so many items not being available you would think the employees wouldn't just congregate and bs with one another, and be actually cooking the meats and prepping ingredients. Ambiance: You just want to leave, with employees that have an attitude like customers are a burden, and a dining area with questionable sanitation standards, it's best to just go to a different Tex mex joint. read more

My husband and I ordered salads, and those were fine. But we got the kids cheese quesadilla for our daughter and it was completely cold when we unwrapped it for her to eat. We also got the fruit (an orange) as her side and it was molded Although they did remake her quesadilla, the overall service was just poor. We probably won't be coming back to this location unless things improve. read more

I don't normally do reviews for fast food restaurants, but this needed to be posted. My wife and I decided to visit the store beside the Savannah Mall for a late lunch. The restaurant was almost empty and the people behind the counter were swapping out pans from the post lunch crowd. When we got to the counter we were not greeted or acknowledged by anyone. After about a minute or two a young lady came to the counter and asked us what we wanted. My wife ordered first; right away we felt there was something going on with the attitude. It was not polite or friendly. When it came time for me to order the young lady initially messed up my order and had to start again...it was just tacos. She missed some of the ingredients that I asked for, placed the lid on the food....and tossed/slung it down the counter to check out. I had had enough and asked for the manager. When he came to the counter I explained what had just happened and his response was, "What do you want me to do"? I think a better response would have been, how can I make it right. He did offer to remake my order, but at this time I would not have touched food prepared in this store. On a side note, we also observed the lady who was prepping our food scratch her exposed skin with her hand (she was wearing gloves); without changing gloves she went right back to preparing our food. Here is the kicker....I emailed Chipotle Corporate Headquarters about this experience over a week ago and have not received a reply from them. My advice is to avoid this store if you can!! read more

Crowded during the lunch hour, but still efficient! The staff was very patient with my three burritos. If you do plan to dine in during lunch, note that it is very crowded. If it's a nice day out, you can grab some outdoor seating but that will get filled up quickly too! I'd recommend placing your order through the app if you're on a time crunch during lunch! read more

Do not order to-go or from Uber eats from this location... they always forget items or make the food wrong. Don't even expect to get utensils. I'm only taking my time to write this because this has happened like 6 times. They are the closest one to me but they can't keep it together and the female manager doesn't even care. read more
