This location is not very good. Employees don't seem to care. It was dirty, there was a broken chair, water on the floor, they were out of forks. I was there around 8pm, they started sweeping and noisily stacking chairs on the tables. I started to feel bad wondering if they closed at 8 o'clock right when I walked in. So trying to enjoy my meal but not really. As I walked out I looked on the door and sure enough open till 10 PM every day. If you want your food served to you by slackers with poor customer service skills, this is your place. read more

This is a tough one for me... I LOVE Chipotle, but this location seems to constantly disappoint me. There is always a LONG line (to the door!) that moves quite slowly. The staff is kind, but they seem to either mess up my order or bill me improperly each visit I make to this Chipotle. In our most recent visit, my husband and I had quite the wait for our food - which we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush. There were only two people working behind the counter, serving, even though it was a busy Friday evening. Once we ordered, I paid and upon paying realized I was mis-charged for our food (over charged, quite a bit). So, I immediately told the cashier that the total was in correct. She was very polite, apologized and grabbed one of the people working behind the counter. I could feel the ugly looks and annoyance from the crowd waiting in line for their coveted burrito. It took the supervisor a good five minutes to figure out how to give a refund... And when she did, she still shorted me on the refund amount! I pointed out the incorrect amount to the supervisor and told her I didn't want to take more time to deal with the incorrect charge, but they should be aware that they did not rectify the situation properly. I will probably stop through this Chipotle in the future - in hopes for a better visit.... and mostly to get my fix, but I sure hope they step up their game! Or, I will be driving to the Burnsville Chipotle location for their consistency and much quicker service. read more

If we ever run out of salt for the roads here in the winter it's because it was all in a $3.95 bag of soggy chip crumbs I was unfortunate enough to choke on. 0 out of 5 if I could. Had family pick me up a burrito bowl from this location. Had literally half a bite of barbacoa in the entire thing. I would advise a different location, or watching them make your food. Cheap asses, I even paid extra for guac. So disappointing. read more

Fantastic!!!. I love the chicken burritos and Hot salsa, sour cream, black beans, and cheese. Also buy the side order of chips and guacamole. I buy 2 burritos so I have leftovers for the next day. Probably the most unhygienic food place I have been to. Has tons of flies sitting and flying everywhere. Tables are not clean. Worst of all Rice was not cooked on multiple occasions. I've lost appetite for chipotle after my experiences at this location. Used to be a fan, not anymore. read more

Very disappointed. I love Chipotle. Used to eat at this location 2 to 3 times a week. On my last visit a couple of weeks ago I had to wait more than 30 minutes to get my food with about 10 people in line ahead of me. That's not normal for Chipotle. Two people working the line, slower than molasses. After all that, they forgot to give me my chips! I will not visit this location again. I'll go to Burnsville or Eden Prairie when I'm in the neighborhood, for my fix. read more

I ordered my food online for an 8pm pickup time. I showed up at 8:20 because I figured I'd give them time to have my food ready. The girl at the register couldn't find my order at first and then I showed her my email that specifically stated the location and time. She miraculously found my order, but it wasn't ready yet. Then she rang up my order and gave me the total. It clearly shows I paid online. At this point 3 other online order people have come and gotten their food while I'm standing here annoyed. The girl at the register is getting an attitude and ignoring my presence. She then tells me they need to make my food and walks away to do other things. She comes back, checks out several other people and I notice they're still not making my food yet. Finally by 8:35 my food is ready and the girl rudely hands me my bag of food and says "here's your food", ignoring the fact that I ordered a drink. So I remind her it should be a drink too and she hands me that and doesn't say a word. Lastly the Diet Coke fountain wasn't working right and the napkins were empty. This was literally the worst experience. Needless to say I won't be back. I'd be better off driving to eden prairie location. Hopefully the food tastes good after all this hassle. read more

Food is usually good but service is lacking. I actually left today and I was the only one in line. There was 3 people working behind the counter but no one apparently could take my order because of some other duties so after 5 minutes of standing there I left. No one even acknowledged me to say "We will be with you once we're done with our other duties". So i left and went across the street to one of their competitors. Ordered online (and 45 minutes was the quickest wait time). Got home with food to discover that two of our bowls were made incorrectly and all food was cold. One of the worst locations and continues to go downhill. This location is poorly manage and the staff is poorly trained. On multiple occasions, items aren't available so there's always this wait and the line just builds and builds. Seriously how can you be out of rice or fajita when it's slow. This is my first time writing a review. It is obvious I am upset since I am writing one for my first time. This is the WORST Chipolte I have ever been to. I eat Chipolte downtown Minneapolis approximately 4 times a week, sometimes more sometimes less. I love it, its convenient for me. This Shakopee location is a joke, as I have seen many others agree. I waited in line for 25 minuets, I know this because I ended a phone call when I entered at 6:54pm. I sat down, took a bite, and realized I was given the incorrect burrito. I went to the cashier and told her, she wrote my correct order on a piece of paper and handed it to the front on the line. 5 minutes later I had to go up to the line and ASK for my burrito that was sitting there......I sat down again and realized my second burrito did not have meat on it (barbacoa) as it was supposed it. Remind you this is around 7:00pm there is no way it should have taken as long as it did in the first place, and they messed up my order TWO times. I went to the cashier again and asked for a refund which they did and that was it. They did not give me a refund receipt, I had to ask for one which they had to take my card again to print me a receipt?... I will be checking my bank account because I am not confident they did it correctly. FINALLY I walked out of Chiplote at 7:25, 31 minutes I will never get back and still I did not eat dinner... hungry, disappointed, and confused by how it was even possible to mess up an assembly line TWO times... I left the store without an apology from the manager, I don't even know if a manager was there. WORST managed store ever, or I should say it is an un-managed store. No communication, no respect for customers, and no system. I won't be back to the Shakopee location. I will go to Qdoba in Shakopee before going to this Shakopee Chipolte ever again and I prefer Chipolte over Qdoba 100% but its not worth my time to go to this location anymore. I do not think this store deserves to be open. **I received an email from Chipolte promptly offering to make amends after I also sent a message to Chipolte corporate.
