I would say 8 out of 10 times I visit this location their employees rip burritos. Today's visit was another example of that and the employee decided to double wrap the burrito and didn't even wrap that one correctly either. This location is HORRIBLE. I always have an issue here. I placed a mobile order today and went to pick it up. They were out of items already (at Noon on a Sunday!!!) they didn't tell me they were out of items, I went to ask for more dressing and that's when the guy (Joseph) said they were out of that also. He didn't seem to care at all. He even walked away after he said it totally unfazed. I called him back and said I would like a refund. Again, he didn't care at all. He then proceeded to give the INCORRECT refund amount. I noticed when I got to the car so I had to go back in and have him fix it. The girls standing there completing orders were rude and were laughing. Other people noticed. I know it is chipotle so I shouldn't expect much from the employees here, but they should at least look and act somewhat professional. I also saw another employee pick stuff up off the floor and then proceed to touch the meat with his same gloves. This location is a joke. read more

There is absolutely no quality control coming out of here. Quesadillas are disgusting and greasy (not even cheese holding it together) - and somehow not even cut in a way that makes it remotely edible. Every order that I've placed has been incorrect. Can't be trusted to handle pick up or delivery with any care. Only way you'll get a halfway decent meal is to stand in front of the staff and micromanage their serving. This location is great - 5 stars, ample parking, easy highway access and nice interior. It's the food that gets the low review however. How this concept and brand expanded is beyond me. Must be a Shark Tank or venture capital sort of backing. Last time I went was several years ago when meat chunks were in the vegan sofrito dish. This time there were no meat chunks, thank goodness, but I left heavy feeling, full and bloated til nearly 24 hours later. It occurred to me places like this are probably why everyone is so darn big these days. I also speculated how healthy this place actually is. Do we have any clue if they use organic products or just the standard GMO, mass produced non nutritional value, glycosophate laden food products out there? Idk the answer. It's also funny to me how other establishments are trying to mimic the "concept" like the Mediterranean place I tried to go for lunch the other day. Do you own thing instead of copying this model, which will probably have its day sooner rather than later. Staff super nice and friendly here. Didn't like the to go containers as they felt very un-environmentally friendly. I guess that's why I'm sour puss on Chipotle - it was cool when it began - but isn't keeping up with the changing trends of healthy and nourishing foods and environmental consciousness. I love chipotle. I do get the same thing every time- a bowl with chicken, black beans, a little mild salsa, and lots of cheese. I highly recommend the chips and guacamole. Even though I get the same thing it always tastes a little different, which keeps me from getting bored. We used to go to the Milford location before this one opened, and their staff was always very friendly. The Shelton crew is more questionable. Sometimes they are very nice and sometimes they completely ignore you to talk to each other. The dining room is almost always dirty, even when it's slow. read more

The food is always great. Never have a problem with it being fresh or available, however the staff can be a bit rude. I go often and feel rushed so I can't imagine what it's like for someone who it may be their first time going there. Better food than Moe's but the staff at Moe's beats them every time. read more

This chipotle is horrible. The customer service sucks. Nothing but a bunch of kids in this place. Two different occasions I have been there and it's like a party. Who's the boss in this place. The workers are to busy socializing with their friends rather then paying attention to the customer. Or the guy playing on his phone while your standing there. I love Chipotle, I eat it regularly and this one that opened is now the closet to my house but now I rather venture to the next closest one. I have eaten here multiple times so far. It is always clean and staff is decent but the first time I went in my burrito bowl tasted funny. I figured it was an off day and I went back a few more times and every time I eat there, their food (compared to other local Chipotles) always tastes bland and unseasoned. I went to this recently opened Chipotle today. The staff was great and very friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was great. Decided to give the local Chipolte a try today even with all the bad publicity the chain has been getting lately. Ordered a chicken burrito and was greatly disappointed. The first bite was great with some chicken and veggies. After that it was all downhill. The rest of the burrito consisted of rice and beans and a few tiny bits of chicken with no veggies at all. How can you make a burrito and not distribute the ingredients evenly? Even if it included what was suppose to be in it, there was way too much rice on the thing. Wasn't looking for a rice sandwich. Using the rice as a filler perhaps? There was also the matter of the rice and beans being cold. Will not be back again. read more

To begin my little rant about my awful experience today, it started with a warm welcome followed by a short wait. Later on in my experience while ordering, I was attacked by a rude employee, Nadia as I asked her to have guacamole on the side. She said in a degrading manner, "that will be extra." Followed by her ripping my burrito. After this, I was in awe as she would not compensate her error by allowing me to have another. This was only the beginning. After this rude encounter with a fellow human being, I realized in the first bite that it was not made correctly. All of the lovely pinto beans were separated from the delicious white rice. After the first encounter with Nadia, I was too frightened to confront her again. This left me in agony when I could not get the burrito the way I wanted it. All in all, paying 16$ for a meal that was sadly ruined by a monkey wrench in chipolte's fine industry. read more
