I can't remember the last time I ordered a burrito that didn't have the inside pouring out after opening it. I feel like if you're not physically there to watch them make it, they'll just throw whatever into the bag. The WORST customer service I have gotten in a while. When I first came in I told the girl what I wanted more then 10 times because she kept saying she couldn't hear me when I was borderline yelling I'm sorry but I'm not going to scream at you through my mask. So I showed her on my phone what I wanted and she said oh it's a mobile order I said no I'm just trying to order this and she just stared at me then proceeded to make a burrito bowl. She had a attitude at me and gave me a hard time wouldn't put in anything I asked her to put in and I had to repeat myself numerous times and she still wouldn't put what I asked for so I didn't get what I wanted at all. And she had a attitude at me like it was such a inconvenience to her that she had to serve a customer. If you don't want to work quit and go on unemployment. My daughter loves it- so I will tolerate it for her- but they make me feel so rushed and uncomfortable, that I cringe walking in. They forgot my daughter's quesadilla in the rush. Worse experience I've ever had my friends and I walked in with only a single person in line they were making more brown rice for her order. The girl in front of us sees the line building up and asks the server if she wants to take care of us if we don't want brown rice witch we did not want brown rice and appreciated her for asking the server, however the server just laughed at her and walked away and continued to stand around and wipe down random things trying to look busy. Then another person came with the brown rice and the server still continued to ignore the single customer after she waited for the brown rice and the line was packed. After she was taken care of she continued to ignore us and or even acknowledge us like humans after just being ignored for another 10 minutes we walked out nobody cared to try and give customer service not 1% as we got into the car upset we then began to watch the rest of the line also walk out. It's a shame chipotle is letting their terrible customer service ruin sales please do better and try and teach staff to treat paying customers like humans. I asked worker to change gloves before prepping my food because she had picked up paper towels, refilled paper towel holder, wiped food off prep counter ALL with the same gloves. She paused and stared at me like I asked something wrong and gave an attitude and was real quiet. Played my food with attitude and didn't listen to anything I said when I said "a little bit" "that's too much" TOSSED my meat in my bowl, as if I did something wrong to HER! After making my food I said "Thank you" and she didn't respond AT ALL! The rice was over cooked and Extremely salty. The worker with an attitude told the Host that my food was with another lady meal and was changed all together. She even snapped at her and told host " wait a minute ". When I believe the host was just trying to keep the line going. There was about 5-6 persons to be served after me. I was afraid to go back to counter and ask for assistance or remake of food so I throw my food away and left. Guest after me went to sent down and had to wipe off the tables just to sit and enjoy their meal, due to food being on just about ever open table. Just very unsatisfying! read more

My family loves Chipotle, so when a location first came into the area, we were very pleased. I don't normally write reviews, but I only do when something stands out as either excellent or poor. The food was amazing here, as it usually is, but the thing that stood out to me today was the service. Without notice, this location switched back to online orders only, which I don't mind at all, but some notice would have been better. As my mom was entering, she was directed out of the restaurant and was told to order online. So, she came back home and started to order online. When she came back to pick up her order at Chipotle, it wasn't even started yet. Upon this, a line of around six parties was waiting inside, and two police officers came in to get lunch. When the officers came up to the counter, they were told that even though they were only doing online orders, they would count them as an exception and serve them at the counter. The line behind them was complaining, so they were also served at the counter. When my mom asked about her order, she was asked her name. They got her name totally wrong, so there was massive confusion. Once they figured out who she was, she was told her order was not started yet and would take around twenty minutes to complete. What is totally not fair is that my mother had to come all the way back home and order online, but come back to realize that many people were getting served at the counter and her order wasn't even started. Although the food was good, this situation was unbelievable. We'll likely return in the future to this location, but if something anything remotely like this happens again, don't count on us returning here, as we'll find another Chipotle nearby. read more

I'm incredibly bummed out to be writing this review. I ordered through the Chipotle app for delivery through doordash. When my order arrived, my chicken salad (see photo--I didn't make an ordering error) had no chicken. I was thoroughly disappointed but had some chicken on hand that I was able to quickly whip up and mix in. To my surprise as I started mixing, I found some sort of preservative packet in my salad that says in bold print DO NOT EAT and DO NOT MICROWAVE. I have no idea the safety of this packet being exposed to heat, so in my opinion, this made my salad inevitable. My boyfriend completely lost his appetite and won't be eating his meal either. We now paid over $30 for a meal neither of us will eat. We are ENORMOUS chipotle supporters and order frequently. I have never had an experience like this. How careless is your staff? God forbid it had been included in a child's meal, or a burrito where someone may not have seen it before taking a bite out of it. Do better, Queen St Chipotle! read more

The worst Chipotle service wise I have ever been to. I walked in and stood there for at least 10 minutes before someone asked me if I could be helped. When I gave my name for the pick up order they hadn't even started it even though I showed up at my pick up time. With absolutely no sense of urgency they pushed the order to the side and helped other customers. Really horrible customer service, and no one even seemed to care. read more

I love chipotle and have had it twice recently from this location, one ordered by the app the other in restaurant. Both times the rice was hard one time it was brown rice and the other was the white. This recent time using the app I put that I wanted guac and queso and both were missing and both are an upcharge. Super Disappointed these last two times. Been to other Chipotles. This one seems kinda slow for just opening. Maybe they have jumped the shark as a franchise? I am also always little on edge to eat there BUT I will say it's better then Moe's or Taco Bell! I usually do bowl or tacos. No health problems yet! I'm a HUGE FAN of Chipotle, but not this location! It is undoubtedly the worst around! The customer service is slow and inconsistent. The employees are lackadaisical and do not tend to people right away either. My most recent experience was the last time I'll ever go to this location! My family and I ordered 5 meals via online order, all sofritas since none of us eat meat. When we got home 20 minutes later, my daughter and I bit into our food and discovered pork instead of the sofritas. My wife immediately called and the manager stated he couldn't refund us and provide the food we already paid for. I tried explaining how this was unfair as they made an error on an online order and I had to drive back out there to get the food I ordered. The manager, Connor Pim stated he could not assist in solving the issue. There was no attempt to work with me whatsoever and a very halfhearted, insincere apology was offered. Compared to all other places, even when extremely minuscule mistakes take place, the establishment provides a small gesture to compensate for the issue. They elected to do nothing at all! Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend ANYONE go to this location! GO TO WEST HARTFORD, Meriden, anywhere but here! I've ordered the bowl with chicken a few times and I'm sorry to say it's become so inconsistent that I can barely eat it. Too salty, too spicey, etc. make it one way and be consistent , measure your spices.
