This is my daughters favorite restaurant so we frequent very often. This is becoming a more and more reoccurring issue, (I generally get a chicken quesadilla) they don't take time to spread the ingredients out and then don't cook it long enough to melt the cheese. Last night after I told the clerk that my food was ice cold bc the cheese wasn't melted the remade a second one and it was worse than the 1st bc they were busy and didn't care about quality. Side note-- they were also out of coke syrup in the machine and sweet tea... For the first time, I was really disappointed with my Chipotle chicken bowl. I always thought all Chipotle locations maintained the same quality, but this experience was completely different. The bowl was extremely oversalted--to the point that it was difficult to enjoy. The portions were much smaller than usual, the chicken was dry, and everything was served cold. Overall, the food lacked the fresh, flavorful quality I normally expect from Chipotle. I hope this was just an off day, but this was by far the worst Chipotle meal I've had. read more

Where to start? The ambiance is set with the mobile security cameras outside and the security officer by the door. Once you make your way up to order your food, don't be surprised if they are out of nearly everything you could possibly want (example from my order: brown rice, guac, sour cream, veggies). If that doesn't deter you then maybe the scowling faces will. Best to avoid this place unless you're looking to be disappointed or injured. The food is always cold and old. Dry tasteless chicken, stale rice, cold beans. Service: they treat you like you shouldn't be there. Steal money from you (charging for things you didn't get) and complaining when confronted about missing something. So I actually started that first part of the review a month ago and then I changed my mind because I thought "don't be a jerk." It was still good, but when I told them about it just to bring it to their attention, the manager let me know that I was wrong as her employees looked at her half smiling at why she would want to argue that. I've always wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Same old garbage as I remembered. Burrito consisted of about 7 pieces of chicken, brown guac, half scoop of rice , and then basically balled up like a toddler. Anything you called out as being a poor portion size was met with attitude and then trying to charge for double portions. Never seen a charge for double rice, beans, salas until this place. I walked out at the register without paying and happily left my poor excuse for lunch sitting there. Adding another review for this Chipotle 7 months after my last one simply because it's been getting exponentially worse. They overcharge us almost every time. Today we got a side tortilla and two bowls. They didn't tell us that it's extra to get both rices, we just got that surprise at the register. They charged us for two sides and a tortilla, even tho we got 1 tortilla. The large side tortillas are $0.50 each, a side is $1.50. They charged us $3.50 for what should been $0.50. When we brought it up they got defensive and said "blame corporate" but corporate doesn't add extra sides to an order to charge you for things you didn't get. Walking in they seemed very angry even tho it wasn't that busy. 3 people on line, 1 on cash, and someone in the back. Speaking to customers with a lot of attitude. It was a manager that didn't tell us that extra rice was extra and there's no signage anywhere. The drink and utensil station wasn't stocked, it's dirty, idk how this place is still in business. The chicken looked overcooked and like tiny pieces of burnt crust when he put it in my bowl. The manager tried to give me a ripped and stale tortilla for my side and I asked for a whole one that wasn't ripped and he rolled his eyes at me as he warmed up my tortilla and then crumpled it in his hands as he put it into the foil for my side. I used to work at Chipotle a few years back so I know how it gets when it's busy. I used to work at the Sunnyside Rd location in Happy Valley, OR. We would get very busy there and yet the straws would be stocked, utensils were stocked, we were kind, trash was taken care of, tables clean. So digusting and disappointing to come to a location like this. Would recommend getting someone from corporate to come and manage this place. Fire who needs to be fired and hire people who will make this location thrive. I do partially blame corporate for what seems like the neglect of this location. read more

I don't like sitting and writing reviews, especially bad ones. but this place definitely needs me to go out of my way and just say how bad it is. They never greet you or even look at you and they give you half scoops every time. I'm typing this while I'm in right now debating if I should eat the rest of my bland rice with veggies and maybe 3 pieces of chicken. This place needs to take out their current employees and management and the whole building itself to build another one. Well, I should've looked at this listing before I went to chipotle in Spartanburg. First, I'll say I ordered a chicken bowl there was more rice than anything else. I had to tell him to quit putting rice in. A few pieces of chicken when I got home and started to eat I had trouble finding chicken. The guacamole which I paid extra for had too much vinegar in it or God helped me. I hope it wasn't spoiled. I will not eat there again. Which is interesting because I tried chipotle in Florida when I was on vacation and everywhere that we ate at a chipotle across the state from Orlando to Sarasota they were all excellent. This location has some issues to overcome. Not accepting electric payments for starters which is a small issue relative to the other issues which mostly related to customer service and dirty eating area. Trash cans by the exit door were completely full. There were no trash cans at the drinking area and consequently you could see trash all over the floor under the drink station where kids and debris were thrown by people unaware of the lack of a can. No tables were being whiped down and floors had the appearance of not being swept or mopped in days. Food items everywhere on the floor and leaves had blown in through the door and were scattered everywhere. Service could best be described as intimidating....like hurry up and order so I can be done with you. Obnoxious behavior between co-workers. Food was tolerable but certainly not worth $40.
