0 Stars...This is the absolute worst Chipotle I've ever been to. The first time I chose this location, I ordered for pick up through their app and as I walked in one of there workers was being swarmed and arrested by the Stamford police outside. My order is always very inaccurate, the portions of meat are increasingly small and more and more burnt each time. Last night my bowl was 90% rice, the double portion of fajita vegetables I requested were nonexistent, the hot sauce that I requested on the side was in the bowl making the dish inedible, and the guacamole was black/brown. They require mobile orders to give their name at the register, unlike every single other Chipotle location I've been to. When a worker chooses to acknowledge you (I've had to wait more than 5 minutes for this to happen), they are rude and short and my order is never ready despite showing up after the "Promise Time". I'd say go to the Riverside or Darien locations instead of this one, but they are only a baby step ahead of this one. Whoever oversees this area's locations should be embarrassed- after reading the other reviews of these locations it's clear that I'm not the only one who has experienced these things. read more

This is my first review ever. I guess I should have checked online at the awful rating! It doesn't take a lot to make me happy with fast food but at 7 PM they were out of veggies, out of corn, and no lettuce out to be served. They didn't tell us either before starting to make our bowls! When we asked if they were closing soon or something the response was that they didn't think they'd be getting more people (even though it was dinner time, the store was open for three more hours, and now 6 more people walked in the door). Absolutely awful the experience you have once you go to Chipotle in Stamford, CT. The people who work there are rude, specially a lady with pink hair. She is very rude and can't care less. Last time I went there, the guy in the front said we have no white rice and no black beans, then I asked him to check the kitchen as it seemed like they were ready. He then let me hang in there for 15 minutes and then I had to yell at them to take my order. If you order online, they give you half of what you can possibly get ordering at the store. The place is an absolute sh*t show and they should be shut down immediately. They never have a full menu and it is always a mess in store. When ordering for pick-up and delivery, it takes forever. This is the worst Chipotle. I have been several times in hopes that it was just an off night, however, it is consistently bad. The restaurant is filthy and they are out of most items regardless of time. Yesterday I went 40 minutes prior to closing and the group of three employees who were hanging out on the front side of the counter, where the customer orders, laughed and told me sorry but they were completely out of meat. I kid you not It's 4am and im on the toilet right now experiencing food poisoning symptoms from this garbage can of an establishment. Then I go to check yelp reviews and it happened to be at a 1-star location known for giving out food that isn't even fresh (wish I checked earlier). The two orders I got had pork instead of steak as ordered which is perhaps a permissible error but what is not ok is the leaving out of two orders of guacamole. Chipotle is a very good clean place. You can never find true mexican around but this place does a good job of feeding you true mexican food. The create your own bowls are delicious with a variety of spices and meats making the bowl that fits you. I personally am a picky eater so the bowl is perfect and stuff I actually eat. One thing I wish didn't happen is in the West Farms Chipotle the people working struggled to hear me because of the shields from covid and she ended up throwing my bowl out from hearing me wrong. Also, the guac and salsa are classic but they put to much on drowning the flavor. Chipotle is a perfect option for a mix between fast food and a restaurant. As others have said, I wanted this place to be good, since their menu at least on paper is a nice option for a quick not terribly unhealthy meal. The pickup system is horrible - there is no one there to help to get the bags which are behind the counter, and getting someone's attention is next to impossible. The last straw for me is that they ran out of chips for the chips and guacamole that I put into my online order. The guy who finally got my bag for me told me they were out and to request a refund from "Pepper" the online bot on the website. After many tries, that turned out to be a complete dead end, and there is no other option to get compensation for the item that was paid for and not received. There was an email support option on the website but that is deemed to only be used for in restaurant orders - for all the other purchase types, it said to use "ask Pepper" I put the request in just the same explaining the issue, and will be interested to see if there is any kind of an appropriate response - credit me for the item not received. Already annoyed that we are not getting what we paid for, I take the bag and head home. When I get home the quesadilla that I ordered for dinner was also not there. I made an account on Yelp just for this review. The owner of this franchise location should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Fire the entire staff and try again and train them properly. I've ordered from here about 5 or 6 times and they have butchered the order at least 3 or 4 times. They do not even refill proteins until they are completely out, even in the middle of the day when they know they will need more. The final straw for me was placing an order on Uber Eats today when I ordered a burrito bowl and a large chips and large queso. How'd they mess it up this time? They forgot my chips. What am I supposed to do with a $10 queso with no chips. This legitimately might be the worst run Chipotle in the United States of America. Was excited to get a Chipotle near me because I like the bowls (given up on burritos - they forgot how to build them) and was hoping they cleaned up their restaurants since I've been to one, but NO. This location is disgusting! There is food everywhere in the restaurant. On the floor behind the counter, on tables behind the counter, it looks nobody every wipes up the cook line even when it is slow and food from other hot metal containers are spilling into others - it's a mess. There's food on the floor and all over the tables in dinning room and it doesn't surprise me because the service is terrible. The employees always just stare at you and never ask if they can help or even what you would like. I have to say - "Are you ready to take my order?" "Can you take a break from your cell phone to take my order?" The entire Chipotle Chain is such a sad disappointment. Used to be great 10 years ago, even after McDonalds bought them, but now the stores are disgusting. I made an order here to pickup at 1:20 today, saturday. I come in and they say they are backed up. 15 other people are waiting who also paid So they are walk-in customers who have not yet paid and prioritize them over the customers that paid. I ask them to have their people at the counter make my order. They refuse. I asked the manager numerous times who just ignored me. Finally 1/2 hour after the 1:20 ready time at 1:50 my order is ready. The world of ordering is very simple. Tell the person what time it will be ready and you waste no one's time. Taking orders for people who have not paid and handing them their orders with a sea of customers waiting over a half hour is not acceptable. And being ignored by the manager when all I said was I want my food and she refused to help and ordered her other employees not to help me. I took her picture to post here. But I decided not to be that dis-respectful and post it. It is sad that this is a new chipotle and loaded with all negative reviews. Normally you would expect it filled with "we are so glad they opened here". Chipotle needs a management change here and fast if they expect this store to stay open. Worst experience ever. They are always out of everything. I went last night after work cause it's close to the exit. Restaurant was dirty. Staff complaining and arguing with each other about breaks and using the bathroom. No fountain Coke available. No napkins or utensils. Everything was everywhere. Very dirty. Had to get a refund on the soda and the horrible cashier was annoyed about it, offering me a hot soda instead. Food was horrible. Chicken was gummy. Guac tasted like nothing.
