Worst manager and employees ever! Replaced brown rice for white rice without even asking on a online order without notification. On another online order went to pick up they didn't make the order because they had nothing but refried beans, steak, and cheese. But I order sofritas which is vegetarian they offered me a bean and cheese bowl. What kind of restaurant has no product left a hour and a half before closing. Now have to wait 5-7 days refund. Employees laughed at me because I said I had no more money left for food. Manager is beyond rude and she told me that she didn't really care. read more

No matter the length of the line at any Chipotle restaurant, the fact remains that within 10-15 minutes you will have your burrito in hand and you will be out the door. And for under $10 ($8.72 Maximum Price!), you're not going to find any better, healthier food (52 grams of fat LOADED!), that you can get so quick, anywhere. Fully customizable menu; you literally see everything you get right in front of you as you order it. You walk-in, and literally from the moment you're at the front of the line, until you're sitting down is maybe 3 minutes because you fumbled with your wallet getting that $10 bill out. Here's the nice part: The burritos here are massive. You can order your meal as a regular burrito with beans, a fajita burrito, a burrito bowl, hard tacos, soft tacos, or on a bed of romaine lettuce as a salad. There is no comparison. Restaurant quality at faster than fast food speeds. And the fact that they're open long hours each day, means that you've got lunch covered if you need it, or dinner if you're craving a burrito working late. I couldn't be happier about Chipotle being in New York. I tell everyone! Rumor has it that there will be a Chipotle opening in Watertown this June :) ***Before anyone asks: I gave this store 4 out of 5 stars because they are not quite getting their inventory ordering down to a science just yet. For a fast food restaurant, this place always has fast moving lines, & great service. The food is as it is in any chipotle restaurant. The quality has always been fresh. The only problem, it does get packed, so finding seats isn't so easy here... it's close to Le Moyne campus, which is totally great for quick lunch option! read more

Meat was much better this time round compared to my last visit. Guess it is better to avoid coming the last hour or so before close because the quality just goes downward from there. I ended up going for a steak burrito and I think the end total was $8.10 after tax. No avocado (which adds $2.05). This is for a large fist size burrito. I understand the desire for fresh and organic ingredients but this seems a bit overboard in terms of price. I'm fine with the size/portion and don't get me wrong, it tastes great, but the price seems too high to come regularly. That said, they do have a really nice offer on Mondays between 12-2pm, where if you present your University ID, they have a buy one get one free offer. This Chipotle is similar to nearly every one I've been too, but I come here very often. The lines can be long at times, but it's worth waiting for the food. The staff and customer service is very good, and are friendly to the customers. One of them called me the "Quesarito guy" for ordering Quesaritos every time I come. After a mid-range review of this location last time, my girlfriend and I decided to stop in on our way home from the airport because it's the closest one. On top of the huge line, slow moving, and spilling ingredients knocking into each other by the staff, WE BOTH GOT FOOD POISONING LAST MONDAY EVENING. If you've never had food poisoning before, it becomes quickly obvious you have it. I will never eat at this chipotle again, and I'm actually hesitant to eat at any of them anymore. I had an excellent experience at Chipotle on Marshall Street on April 25. The service was pretty fast and the employees were very friendly. It appeared that the establishment was well-run. I ordered a chicken burrito with cheese and brown rice. The burrito was very flavorful and I consumed the entire burrito with no trouble. The establishment was clean for the most part, but some tables were uncleaned. Overall I thought the food and service was good and I had a great dining experience. read more

I went to Chipotle yesterday to get a salad. I waited in line for almost 30 minutes just to find out they don't have any lettuce so I can't get a salad. I get that's its due to a national shortage on lettuce but there really should have been a sign or something on the outside of the restaurant saying they don't have any lettuce. read more

The two times I've been here, perhaps they were low on provisions or the workers were stingy: my burrito bowl was about half filled with vittles. I felt that if they had the chance, they would have counted out the corn kernels and used a beaker to pour the sour cream, that's how cautious they were. Now typically, where I go when I need Chipotle, they heap the stuff on such that the lid can hardly fit comfortably and I can carry that bag home with confidence because I could probably curtail an armed robbery with a swift smack upside the robber's head with my brown bag given the weight of that food. My coworker and I had planned an event for Syracuse University where we needed catering. Because of Chipotle's vegan options we decided to order from here. There was a miscommunication between my coworker and I that resulted in us having to order 10 vegan sofritas burritos and 10 vegan veggie burritos about 20 minutes before our event started. The manager on duty (Purple?) and Kai were able to dish out the 20 burritos in a matter of minutes and I was on my way to the event! As this chipotle is seconds away from a college campus, where students commonly go to eat, i can understand why it would be so busy. Tonight's experience at the chipotle on Marshall street was unacceptable. As there is a large corona spike on campus, chipotle has asked its customers to place online orders only, instead of going in store and ordering it right away. I placed my order at 7:05. The app said my bowl would be ready at 7:30, which is reasonable. By 7:45 my friend and I arrived. The bowl was still not ready. We decided to hang out on Marshall street and wait around. Time kept going by, as we frequently checked to see if it was ready. By 8:25, my friend finally received her bowl. I waited another ten minutes for mine, but still nothing was ready. Finally, I had had enough and went up to the front. They searched for my name in the system and found nothing, but i went to my app and it said that the order was confirmed at that location. They made me my bowl when i told them what i wanted on it. They forgot corn and put a thimble of rice. I will certainly not be returning to this chipotle location, and you shouldn't either. read more

This is a typical cafeteria style taco joint. Well...that is, until you taste the food. Great flavors achieved through the perfect use of spices (not too much heat to be overpowering...use of spices that actually compliment the meats and sauces), and exceptionally fresh ingredients are what made my experience at Chipotle on Marshall St. stand out for me. The price was moderate...somewhere between taco bell and Alto Cinco (closer to the latter)...however, the portion size was damn HUGE, so it was well worth the money spent. I ordered a burrito to go and started walking back up the hill to SU. I had to switch hands a few times to carry the bag because the burrito was so heavy! Okay, so that is a slight over exaggeration...but it was big enough to make two separate meals out of. The decor was a bit odd for me; it was all stainless steel and reminded me of a hospital setting. Definitely gave the impression of being clean though. read more

I am sick and tired of the sub-par service at this chipotle. Why is it that this is the ONLY chipotle that I have ever been to that tries to charge me extra for salsa, rice, beans, etc.? I understand meat, because double meat is extra everywhere, but when I ask for more of anything else I am told it must be charged as a side of "___." Bull. It's only here that this made up rule seems to exist. And I wouldn't have to ask for more if I get a decent portion of food! The portions they give you her are terrible! They gave me 8 cubes of meat today. EIGHT. It was outrageous. A full serving of meat at chipotle is listed as 4 oz. I'd be surprised if I even received two. I like the quality if the ingredients at Chipotle, but the higher pricing should come with much better assembly. This location is disappointing. I never eat there during the school year because the lines are so long at lunch time, which attests to the popularity. However, I have ordered from them twice in the last two weeks, and was skimped on fillings for my tacos, and the way they were wrapped resulted in a "burrito bowl" consistency wrapped in paper. You have a variety of choices to pick what to eat including a burrito or a bowl. Then, you can choose from several different meats, vegetables, and salsas to add flavor to your concoction. This is a very popular dining location, so the line is usually long. The shortest wait time I have had here is 5 minutes. The average waiting time is between 10-15 minutes. I'm a huge chipotle fan and I can always go for a good steak burrito but this experience was really horrible. I walk in and wait 30 minutes to even get to order which isn't a problem. However, after waiting 30 minutes to get to order they say there's no more steak and it'll just be 5 minutes. I said that's fine and I have no problem waiting 5 minutes for steak. So 10 minutes go by and there's still no steak and I'm starting to get a little impatient because they told me 5 minutes. I'm now waiting 20 minutes for steak after the line worker just told me 5. After 25 minutes the steak finally came out so I was in chipotle for about an hour... people came in 15 minutes after me, got their food, finished eating, and left before the steak was even out. This experience was very frustrating and the only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food was ok. The thing I hated most about this experience is that I was not compensated whatsoever for being so patient with them. read more

I'm out. I ordered a buritto bowl and a kids cheese quesadillas meal. I The quesadillas was the size of a half dollar (6 in tortillia) and as flat as a dollar bill and yet it cost 3.25. It came with no salsa or sour cream or flavor - nor did the chips. I got it to go and when I got back to my office I couldn't peal the foil from the quesadillas. I took it back and while they were nice enough to replace it, no one apologised for my inconvenience or offered anything but a replacement which was a disappointment again. I'm done. Seriously, you seem to be doing a lot of business - would it kill you to throw in some salsa!? For the money, I didn't think the portion was that huge on the burrito bowl either. read more

I went in an there was food all over the tables and floors. The pans the beans were in were crusty and they looked like they hadn't been switched out in days. I ordered the brown rice and it was so undercooked is could have broken someones teeth. The chicken was dry and flavorless and onions and peppers were burnt. The staff walked around lazily and it was overall a terrible experience, which is too bad because I have loved other chipotles that i've visited. read more

Last night, I was pranked....by Chipotle. I didn't even know that was possible. After growing up in LA, Chipotle has been an instrumental asset to my childhood and a staple to my diet since my inception in the winter of '96. I've had so many great memories with Chipotle that I like to look back on whenever I'm down. Like a good friend, Chipotle has always been there for me to pick me up in my time of need. Spending my summer in a small town in upstate New York, the nearest chipotle to me is 40 miles away. I had been training myself for months prior to the summer mentally, physically, and emotionally to take a long hiatus from steak burritos. Imagine the prehistoric people of Mesoamerica taking a break from maize. It just doesn't work like that. Anyway, after hours of deep thought, I decided it was time to make the trek out to chipotle in Syracuse. The excitement I felt was indescribable. The closest possible sensations that I can compare this to is those of a small child on Christmas Eve. Upon arrival I gracefully floated to the front of the line and promptly ordered a steak burrito. As I drifted swiftly down the line, I was beaming from ear to ear as I created a monster of a burrito. It was my very own Frankenstein. As I began to put the finishing touches on my baby, I was hit with words that no homosapien under the ripe age of 23 should hear. "We are out of lettuce, cheese, and corn salsa". My world was shattered and I was immediately sent into a world of oblivion. How can Chipotle not have lettuce? That's like ordering a kids meal from McDonalds and not finding a toy inside. Tears were growing in my eyes and I searched deep inside myself to pay $8.24 for a burrito without cheese, lettuce, and corn salsa. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the heartless employee notified me that they were out of chips too. What else are you guys out of? Dignity? Hope? Respect for mankind? Needless to say this is the last time I'll be eating Chipotle in New York. I can't wait to get back home where I can order a burrito from decent people and attain a blissful state of mind that couldn't be attained without the hardship I endured at Chipotle in Syracuse. read more
