Overall, my experience at this chipotle was not great. It was my first time at this particular location and I was unimpressed. Nobody greeted me at the counter. The woman behind the counter just looked at me instead of asking me what I would like. I don't go to chipotle often, so I just went down the line and specified what I wanted. They definitely miss out on opportunities to upsell and add ingredients and sides like chips. The restaurant itself is very sterile, and the tables were not cleaned. They were many people behind the counter, but nobody out on the floor. The cashier who helped me, was clearly munching on some chips or something in between ringing people up. Her mouth was full and she was chewing. Gross. The last straw was that I asked for a cup for some water, and was told they don't do that at this location. Kind of unbelievable. Anyway, I will probably not be back. Not a very pleasant first time at this location. read more

I don't often go to Chipotle, it's been years since my last visit. I went here today and stood in line while 1 worker, who was obviously new, struggled by himself preparing all the orders. The drive through was staffed adequately and they were banging out orders. I guess drive through customers are more important? Anyway, the poor new guy was really busting his hump and I was impressed with his efforts. He was also super friendly and polite. He deserves a raise! The bad? It took forever for the Lone Ranger to get the orders out while other staff were washing dishes and preparing cheese. Priorities Chipotle! The customer should be #1! I got my food and wanted to sit but every vacant table was filthy. I ended up eating outside even though it was cold. I'd rather be chilly than sit in filth. Overall my food was good, but the service was really slow. The restaurant was filthy. The drink station was a mess. I think next time I have a hankering I'll have to go Salsa Fresca. I usually enjoy Chipotle, but this experience was terrible. My order was wrong, the portion size was ridiculously small, and to top it off, they didn't include the utensils or napkins that were clearly indicated. It's frustrating to pay for a full meal and get something incomplete and disappointing. If you're going to advertise certain standards--like accuracy, portion consistency, and basic necessities like utensils--then you need to follow through. This location really dropped the ball, and it made for a very frustrating meal. I hope management takes this seriously, because customers deserve better than what I received. read more

Let me start out by I hate giving negative reviews and I was really hungry and didn't check yelp before stopping her at 12:15 on a Wednesday Afternoon! The place was very crowded with Marist College Students Lounging around and not eating anything, The next thing I notice the music was blasting loud to the point ther server couldn't hear my order and I had to scream. What sent me over the edge was the cashier told me he wouldn't take my $2 bill and kept begging me for singles to the point his coworker even told him to trade it out of the tip jar if he didn't want to put it in the register.J. Really unprofessional and rude service and being in the service industry I understand people having a bad day but when even the coworkers are getting upset it's about time to put an owner on the floor for a week or two and work out the issues with unprofessional employees. Number 2 is I couldn't find a clean table, they had only been open 90 minutes and looked like they hadn't done a lobby check to sweep the floors or empty the trash cans and wipe down the tables and they were in the middle of a lunch rush with a line of people! Couldn't figure out why they hadn't called someone to fix the soda machine either as they hadn't wet towels all over the floor under the machine it looked like a slip and fall accident waiting to happened. If someone isn't out checking the lobby every 15-20 minutes asking customers if they need anything something's not going good behind the counter Number 3 I don't expect a fast food place like this to be a Culinary Institute meal, but when the rice is hard and crunchy either it's not cooked right or has been sitting out for too long, the pinto beans had more water in the pot then beans and they must be cutting back on service portions because 1/2 a scoop of protein just isn't enough, ild pay a higher price just goes be me a portion that looks like I got my monies worth. I should have read the reviews before I went because every reviews before mine hit the nail on the head and there are so many bad reviews it doesn't look like the franchiser owner cares because they are getting so many students from Marist on a budget they can't afford to go elsewhere! I bought a chicken bowl with brown rice, black beans, pico, cheese and corn salsa, not sure how to explain it but there was a bunch of pokey wooden sticks all throughout my food possibly the rice grains. Absolutely tore my mouth apart I couldn't even eat it. And the guy at the register seemed like he was ready to walk out the only thing he said to me was "this it?" I went to this location at 1:00PM with the intent to order for myself and to pickup 3 to go orders but was told that "the line was closed" and that I had to use the app to place a mobile order. She was wearing a black shirt, as were about 5 other people in the seating area who I assume were all employees. She was polite about it but not allowing in person orders in the middle of lunch is ridiculous. I have had bad experiences when placing mobile orders here with the proportions being off so I prefer to go in person, and the other 3 orders were waiting so I left without ordering anything. 2 of the other 3 orders had problems as well (1 had no silverware or napkins and the other had the wrong rice)...overall this was not a good experience and this location does not do the brand's reputation any favors in general. read more

Adios, Salsa Fresca. Chipotle is finally open! We've been (impatiently) waiting and finally went for lunch today and we're thrilled with the results. We both ordered bowls with everything available on them. Loved the option of brown OR white rice, black OR pinto beans. Husband was especially happy with the spicy pea protein option which was delicious and a nice change from just the standard veggie option, which they offer too! Such huge portions and everything was fresh, filling and delicious. Also got an order of chips and guac. Chips were cold, but perfect thickness and I liked the salty/spicy seasoning on them. Didn't order beverages-but noticed Acqua Fresca on the menu for next time. Pleasant seating area both inside and out. Additional hot sauce options are a nice touch too. Staff was friendly and answered questions, but the lines are long and service is very slow. I'm sure they need extra staff to take orders, so hopefully they are able to hire more help and get faster over time. Bonus is a drive through and what seems like an order ahead system where you can just walk in, go directly to a staging area and pick up your order, already bagged and ready to go. This won't replace my fave local family-owned Mexican spots , but in a pinch when we want something fast-casual, I will definitely be back! It's healthy fast food done right! read more

Every time I come in they have very little to no ingredients and the staff never are able to explain why they can't do certain things i.e a quesadilla because their machine is broken? Unfortunately the store had run out of ingredients about an hour before they closed, which I understand happens especially at a location that experiences volume like this. However, that could have been made a little more clear by the staff when I had walked in. Usually, I would expect a sign posted on the door or something; however, when I had walked in and up to the counter, the woman behind the counter was wiping rice off the counter. I was standing there for about 15 seconds before she had looked up at me just said "we're closed" without any indication that they were as it was pretty busy. Then as I was walking out people in line were getting their orders made so I was a little confused. I had walked back in and instead of being told they were closed I was told they only had chicken for their protein, so there could have been a better job with communication there. Another time I had come in and they were low on white rice. Usually I'm offered a substitution but instead the employee gave me all the rice they had which was barely 1/4 cup of rice. Usually get pretty bad customer service here, usually very direct and brash, lacking personality with most customers but overenthusiastic with others which could always be improved. Then again I work in hospitality so maybe I'm a little bit biased, but still something is better than nothing. read more

This place went downhill real fast. 9 times out of ten the food is cold. They put minimal effort into wrapping the burritos. Today my girlfriend ordered two burritos. One of them started falling apart after the first bite. And then half way through the burrito she found a food sticker mixed in with the food. That's a major health hazard. However they are only taking online orders, open for business, but not running their register "due to short staffing." Whoever owns this store doesn't care about it, whoever runs it doesn't know what they're doing, and all the college kids that work there also don't care and have not a single ounce of training. I was looking forward to my 1st visit to this location. I have only been to Chipotle's once in Woodbury Common Outlets and I thought it was good. So when this Chipotle opened, I thought it would be nice once in a while for a quick and tasty meal that is close to home. I could not have been more wrong. The place is not clean.
