Social distancing is enforced, mask and hand sanitizer upon walking in. It didn't take long to order, as the line was moving up. I ordered a veggie burrito bowl, granted I had no meat in my bowl and the guy serving me gave me the smallest amount possible so I asked for more which was fine. However, the service was again not ideal and the wait time is consistently longer than any other Chipotle location I have been to. I hate to admit it, but I much prefer other Chipotle locations over this one. In fact, the employees here are not friendly at all! I get the bowl most of the time with rice, beans and chicken. Then throw all the corn and salsa on with guac and it's a party in my mouth. The bowls are definitely filling. Everything tastes fresh. There was only one person in line, so my order was taken fairly quickly just after 5 PM. However, one female employee was doing it all. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with a flour tortilla heated on the side. She had to scrape the bottom of the pans for the white rice, chicken, and sour cream. Why is that, with the dinner crowd on its way? And, my bowl contents tasted like scraped, burned remnants. A third of the dining tables and portions of the floor were filthy with smeared scraps of food, guac, and/or sour cream. Are you telling me that, during the slow gap of time between lunch and dinner, not even one employee was available to spend 15-20 minutes cleaning the area for future customers? Where is the County Health Department on this? When I left, that same female employee was still alone to fill the orders and take payment....only now, 12 folks were in line. I felt so sorry for her (and, those trying to be patient in line). Honestly, I don't understand the Chipotle customer service collapse. The good news is I haven't gotten sick from my meal tonight (well yet, anyway). But, I don't see why I should return. There are too many other options in the fast casual world. I always say that I am never going to eat at Chipotle again. Then, two years later another school fundraiser comes up and I forget how bad they are. I end up ordering dinner from them and then remember why I don't eat there anymore. It is such a good concept but just not that fresh. The chicken is not cut up very well and is full of fatty pieces which totally grosses me out. My husband got the barbacoa; it was not cooked all the way, the chunks were huge, and the taste bland. I was so excited to see they have cauliflower rice now but it has an odd smoky taste to it-not sure what that was about but not good at all.
