We went to watch the World Cup Mexico game and the it was a great vibe!! Our server Rosie was awesome and the food was great. They have a great happy hour!!! When Mexico won they brought out complimentary tequila shots for everybody that wanted them!!! Great time.

    Well portioned and well priced!

Great time! Came in for drinks. Good cocktail menu and better prices than most nearby! Service was supreme. So grateful for such mind servers. Great location, laid back feel. Some outdoor seating, some bar seating. Great casual neighborhood vibes.

Just happened to be in Valencia on May 5th, and needed to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, so was looking for restaurants to go to and found Azul Tequila, and away we went! Had a dog with us, and Azul welcomed animals on the patio, so we were seated right away and started off with an appetizer and drinks. The margaritas were flavorful, and a decent size, so definitely can't complain. The nachos were also pretty good, though the enchilada sauce made some of the chips overly soggy, which no one likes. For entrees, we tried a few. The California burrito was tasty, stuffed with al pastor meat, guac, fries, cheese, etc. Just a nice bite. The asada burrito, not as great, definitely should have asked for the sauce on the side (she lives and learns). And the fajitas looked delicious but the meat was a little on the drier side internally, so they weren't memorable outside of that dryness. Staff was great, food was ok, but can recommend the California burrito and the nachos (ask for less enchilada sauce), but you can skip the asada burrito and fajitas. Definitely grab a couple margaritas though!

!!!SKIP!!!! This was the nearest dinner spot from our hotel, so we gave it a chance. I was aware of the reviews but I chose to ignore them and give it a try.. wish I wouldn't have. The food was super oily and tasted like it had gone bad. The rice was very dry and beans looked unappetizing. After eating 1 taco my stomach started hurting. Also, getting our check took way too long, I just wanted to leave because it was getting me nauseous. The restaurant also needs upgrades, and I wish there was only one thing playing. There were lots of TV's playing different things and then they had music playing. In my opinion it was too much.

Another great happy hour experience topped off with a birthday celebration dessert. The entire staff are so very friendly and accommodating. We started our celebration outside but it proved to be too hot so they moved us inside. Everything we have had at each visit has been fresh, scrumptious and more than enough food. Still a great Mexican restaurant choice.

4+ came out to meet some family in this area to go to Magic Mountain. This place was located across the street from the hotel they were staying at. I got into the area a little early so I came here to kill some time and drink some beers and tequila. Just note that I did not eat any food here on my visit - it was only for drinks. The vibe here was pretty chill on a Friday night. I sat at the bar right away and was helped by some friendly bartenders. They got a really good selection of tequilas and a solid selection of beers and other spirits. Parking was super easy to find as the lot was pretty big and the place wasn't super busy. Just a nice chill spot to grab a drink (or most likely food as well) and very conveniently located for people coming into to town for Magic Mountain.

Excellent customer service, attentive to their guest and needs. The food is amazing and authentic ! Highly recommend!

Food was good. Staff welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Ambiance bright, colorful, cheerful. Nice booths with table lamps. We went with friends on a Friday night and no one rushed us out. The chili verde burrito with green sauce was super good. My husband enjoyed his Bandera trio of enchiladas, my friends said the margaritas were on point. We would return!

We ended up here because my fiancé was craving carne asada with corn tortillas, rice, and beans, and we're glad we did! The atmosphere is really nice, with cool artwork and decorative touches that give the place a great vibe. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The complimentary chips were amazing, perfectly seasoned with a flavorful zesty dusting that I couldn't quite put my finger on (perhaps chile lime), paired with a tasty bean dip. I had the al pastor torta with a side salad and cilantro dressing that was fresh and absolutely delicious! The margarita and steak tacos combo was also good. We'll definitely be back to try the lunch special!

Lunch menu, complete other side full of options.

1st class Mexican food options. Good tequila selection. Comfortable searing with glass between booths. Has a bar area and restaurant seating area. The food was good, the service was excellent. Will wait for 2nd visit to upgrade to 4 stars.. They have lunch specials. We will be back.

    Receta de la Abuela
    Willy T.

I came here after a trip to Six Flags and I really enjoyed it. I ordered a Receta de la Abuela and split an order of fish ceviche. The restaurant was bustling and service was good. Our server treated us very well. Chips, salsa, and bean dip came complimentary. They were absolutely fantastic. The bean dip is extremely good and the chips are above average since they are seasoned. The seasoning reminds me of the Cool Ranch doritos. The red salsa was classic, but didn't stand out like the bean dip did. This was so good that we got seconds. The ceviche is good and comes with some airy tostadas. My main entree was also perfect. It's well portioned and everything is balanced. I like the vegetables and how the dish isn't over salted. I especially appreciate the cheese under the refried beans.

The server who wore a pony tail with curly hair and bangs was lovely. She answered all my questions regarding the menu and order. Food: 4.8/5 stars. Speed: 5/5 Food came within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Taste: 4.6/5 The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Runny and very tasty. The sauce, avocado, and tomato provided a light savory blend. The biscuit was a bit hard on my pallet and but personal preference aside, it added a crunchy texture. The hash browns albeit a bit bland (solved by salt shaker), had a beautiful crispy texture. The fruit mixture was fresh, the grapes within were crispy and sweet. Additional note: the complimentary crepe was a nice touch in case you feel hungry while waiting.

Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly impressive either. Maybe we just didn't order their standout dishes, but based on what we had, I wouldn't feel strong reason to return. While we were looking at the menu outside, there was an employee standing by the entrance, but we were never greeted or informed that there was a waitlist for dine-in seating. Since we've always ordered at the register and then found a table after, we did the same thing as usual. While I was placing our order, my sister sat at an empty table and was told to leave because there was an hour waitlist. We were genuinely confused b/c we had no idea there was a waitlist, and of course we immediately apologized & left the table. We felt terrible and offered to switch our order to takeout to avoid any inconveniences, the employee remained dismissive and rude throughout our interaction. I'm not sure if she thought we did it on purpose, but she took off with an attitude. We understand it's busy, it could be frustrating and stressful, but that interaction wasn't necessary, it was a clear misunderstanding and we asked switched to take out to avoid issues or taking someone else's spot. We also noticed other customers making the same mistake, which made it seem like the seating process wasn't clearly communicated. A simple greeting or letting customers know there was a waitlist before ordering would have completely avoided the misunderstanding instead being dismissive. I also don't recall seeing "please wait to be seated" sign or I'm not sure if we missed it ? Despite this experience, we still plan on coming back b/c we truly enjoy the food and the cafe itself. They do have great service, they did not give us any issues changing the order to take out. They understood it was a misunderstanding of the seating. It could have just been a bad day for that specific employee that was rude , but we just hope there can be better communication for customers in the future.

It seemed as though there were about 10-12 tables inside, and all the employees work with one another to wait on the tables. We showed up around 10:45am on a Saturday morning, and to our surprise there was no wait. We were sat immediately and ordered a cappuccino and Arnold Palmer to drink. Then, I ordered the Salmon Benny with home potatoes, while my partner ordered the Churro waffle combo. It did take about half an hour to get our food, but it was well worth how fresh everything tasted. My salmon benny came on an everything bagel with cream cheese, and the salmon was served cold (in a delicious/ good way, not like it was frozen. I just wanted to make a note of this because usually when eating a salmon benedict the salmon gets warm from the temperature of the english muffin and egg). Then, the home potatoes had onions, and bell peppers and I kept commenting on how fresh the bell peppers tasted. My partner had the churro waffle with eggs, sausage and bacon. They really nailed the churro flavor of the waffle. Both our plates were completely devoured with no leftovers to take home. For our two drinks, two entrees (and the added combo to the churro waffle) it ended up being $53, which we found to be extremely reasonable for the quality, portion size, and service provided. The only thing I would mention was the parking lot gets a little crowded. They share a parking lot with the other stores in the plaza, and there were several spots open only because there were a lot of bigger cars who were over the line. No fault to the restaurant itself, just something to be aware of.
