Very disappointed with my experience at this Chipotle. The customer service was not pleasant at all. I asked about getting a quesadilla and was told they were online orders only, even though I've been to another Chipotle where I was able to order one in person. My food also did not look right, and when I asked about scanning my Chipotle Rewards barcode so I could receive my points, I was told I could only use the receipt to add the points afterward. I've used the rewards system before, so I know that's not how I expected it to work. I was only given a paper receipt and the whole interaction was frustrating. The whole team of staff acted so unprofessional that it's hard to believe this is a Chipotle! No one is doing the cleaning of the tables. All of them just hang out chatting and laughing. The one who has to "assemble" the food looks super lethargic. The food may be fine, but the whole experience is just unpleasant. The whole store is incredibly dirty. So I come in again I don't know why but yesterday I come in again and I'm asking the employee for doubles after he already gave a customer before me with a lighter skin tone ;(I did a mad wink because I'm not happy but I asked for doubles multiple times on my rice. It took him three scoops for it to finally look like it was not a regular bowl which I'm thinking if they initially do two scoops a double should be for moving on I go to my beans. I don't get a double so I was fine with the small serving of that moving onto the chicken when I then asked him for doubles on the chicken after him, not doing it right a male worker says to me " that is doubles what the f*ck'' I am tired of every time I entered this chipotle. I don't usually review chain restaurants, but decided to jump in after seeing a restaurant with 73 reviews and only one and a half stars. I got a burrito, and it was for the most part fine in terms of freshness and Amount of ingredients. But I have to say, it was probably the worst example of proper "layering" that I've ever had. It had every ingredient I asked for inside of it, but it was built so the first several mouthfuls were all pork, then the next several were all cheese, then the next several were all rice, then gobs of sour cream, then gobs of salsa, etc. etc. it was not pleasant to eat. Parts of it were also a little cold. So, I didn't have a great experience, but definitely better than most of the reviews here. My daughter picked it up for me, so I cannot comment on the disposition or the efficiency of the employees. read more

i went to chipotle in gateway shopping center to get dinner at 6pm Thursday and they should be ashamed of themselves...everything about it was bad. - the glass covering the food was so dirty you couldn't see thru it. - the containers with the food were all 2/3rds empty and looked as if they had been there for 2-3 days. Almost with a crust on them. -the "bowl" was terrible luke warm, old stale food...thank God for the sour cream however, it not very fluffy and tasted like half/half. -to add insult to injury, I ordered chips and guacamole figuring its tough to screw that up.... Generally, chips are "crunchy" ...these were soggy, and you could fold them in half...Oh, did I mention that the guacamole was warm.. - all of that for a mere $20.14...what a "deal" . Any time i go in there around dinner time and want to get something to go, they are ALWAYS out of the peppers and onions. When i asked the manager about it tonight, he could not care less. The answer is we ran out. So, then I asked him why they wouldn't plan to have enough of this on a Sunday night dinner time (6 PM). Same crap answer. Went here with family for a quick lunch, and the staff helping us out behind the counter were very friendly and generous with the ingredients! It was my in-laws' first visit to Chipotle, so it took them a little while to figure out what they wanted, but the staff were very accommodating and understanding. I like that they're adding newer items to their menu, and I've always appreciated transparent pricing in their stores and in the other fast casual chains they've inspired. I figured they were just having growing pains and that they would work it all out, but I was wrong. I've been to this location a few times since the grand opening and also left disappointed, mostly because they didn't have what I wanted. Today, my wife and I went there for dinner; We both ordered bowls with veggies and they literally had to scrap the bottom for 3 little veggies that looked like they had been there all day. This location used to be great . Always fresh and bowls were packed. The last two times the bowls have literally 3 bites. They should not be allowed to charge people over 10 dollars a bowl for three pieces of lettuce strips, one veggie, and maybe a tablespoon of rice .
