We ordered a meal online. We decided to pick it up. When we got home, one hotel was 3/4 empty. The other was full. Take a look at the pictures. I'm going to call to complain. Last time we were there, it was so dirty on the front line that we left as they were making our bowls. I have never done that in a restaurant before. Mexican food. There are no shortages of it in Winchester. From authentic cuisine to the fast food interpretation, you can get your fix. But nothing hits the spot quite like a Chipotle bowl or wrap. So why is my review 1 star? Quite simply, terrible service, and portion control like I'm on an episode of Seinfeld. That's right, these employees are Bowl Nazis, rationing out "double meat" that you're then charged for. I once got, and I'm speaking literally here, 6 pieces of lettuce on top of my bowl. When I ask for double anything, and am then CHARGED for it? You best give me when I asked for, or you're going to hear about it. And when I have to ask and repeat myself over and over what it is I want because the woman in line is distracted by a fly...or deep thoughts, or whatever the hell her problem was, it just makes that line even more intolerable. I won't stop eating here, but be warned Chipotle, I also won't stop putting your ass in check when you try and pull a fast one on me and my wallet. read more

We absolutely LOVE Chipotle, but this one is not the best. The line is always really long and it takes a long time to get through it. I have been to other Chipotles that have even longer lines, but you can get through it in less than 5 min. This one takes a while, and it is a hit or miss on service. There have been numerous times where we have been here and they are out of something. It happens quite often actually, so the person ordering their inventory is not doing something right. The one item they are out of most often is cheese, and that is my favorite thing. I usually order online, and it usually goes smoothly, so I recommend doing that. I would check your meal, though, before leaving. They have missed items before and we have gotten bowls where they didn't even fill it up. I will continue to eat here because of the food, but this location does need a little work. read more

75 dollars for half of what any other chipotles serve. forgot to add extra cheese, fajitas, and guacamole and paid for it. I would pay 75 for good full bowls of chipotle but this place is a joke and you can't call and talk to any staff to try to get it right. we will never order there again. read more

The past two times we have ordered chips and guacamole, there have been huge unripe pieces of avocado and even pieces of avocado skin. Really disappointed to have wasted money on guacamole that was pretty much inedible. read more

They brushed crumbs from the counter into my veggie bowl. I told them i would like a new one, they said that they would not serve me. I stand there and wait to be served, the GM goes into the back and calls the police and lies to them saying I'm like yelling at people and trying to fight people, none of which is true at all. The police come in and literally attack me and charge me for trespassing and assaulting a police officer LOL chipotle is great but this one has gone straight to the toilet with this GM. Even before this, the employees all sneer at you from the back. they started trying to charge for tortillas and started trying to tell me they need to put the rest in little containers rather than in my bowl like dang you can't even close a lid? Quality here has gone straight down the toilet over the last year or so. Placed an online order back in April at the height of the COVID fiasco and what I received was marginally acceptable given the constraints and the demand at the time. Ordered today and what I found on opening the bag after arriving home was appalling. Chips less than a quarter of the bag, request for extra fajita vegetables resulted in about half of a normal order, burrito was more like something you would reject at Taco Hell. Bottom line, avoid this place until and unless you have the time to monitor them preparing your food for you. read more

First off: the new "queso" is in fact FAKE NEWS, the fakest news. It literally tastes like mac and cheese. An absolute abomination. If 0 was an option, this gets it. Chipotle...the most dependable, fast food Mexican restaurant we all grown to love - fails MISERABLY in Winchester. Rumor said that people have gotten sick before...but in our hearts we rejected to believe that our favorite Mexican fast food would fall to such dismay. So one night, the two of us ordered completely different meals, a salad and bowl and managed to BOTH get sick. This sickness lasted 2 FULL WEEKS PEOPLE. I always like eating at Chipotle in Winchester. I guess it depends on when you come to Chipotle how many people will be waiting in line. I guess I'm lucky because I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes until I got my food and that was when the line was back by the entrance doors. Always friendly staff. They use almost entirely organic ingredients and no gmo. No person is ever going to agree with another person 100% of the time. I think that Chipotle does a very good job. read more

We arrived at the Chipotle Grill for dinner at 8:15 PM. They had a printed sheet of paper posted listing all the ingredients they were out of including pinto beans, black beans, lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese as well as three or four other items. The staff said they were closing soon and if we wanted to order we would have to select from what they had left. They actually did not close until 10 PM. We made our selection and sat down to eat in one of their booths. While eating, we noticed that there was a second line used to fill online orders. That line actually had in stock all of the items I listed above (and probably most of the other posted items). The staff was just refusing to use these foods to take care of their customers who were ordering in the restaurant. When we questioned them on this practice, they blew us off and refused to use the prepared items to feed their in-store customers. I actually witnessed their allowing 6 different customers to come in and look at the serving line, read the posted sign, be told by the staff that they would have to take it or leave it, and the customers decided to walk out without their dinner. All the staff had to do was get the missing items from the line that fills online orders. I witnessed that line filling orders with those items the main line claimed were unavailable. My wife actually asked the staffer at the online order station for some sour cream and was told they only had a little remaining. The entire time the staff was turning customers away they were busy cleaning. I guess their priority was not to serve us, but to be ready to walk out the door when the store closed almost 2 hours later. I've eaten here many times and this was the first time I walked out not only very disappointed but wondering how long they'd remain open if this sort of thing continues on a regular basis. read more

The food is absolutely up to Chipotle standards, but you're better off ordering online and spending as little time as possible in the restaurant. Plan for at least a 20 minute wait in line if you don't order online. Update: Apparently I can't win. This chipotle has had its highs and lows. Lately the service has been getting better. When they make a mistake they are willing to fix it. I'm happy that the online orders are on a shelf now so I don't have to wait to get someone's attention to grab my order. 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. read more

The food is pretty good, despite being inconsistent in portion size. How much or how little you get depends on who is working. Some of the workers are pretty nice and good at their jobs; some are rude and struggle making a wrap. I really like Chipotle but wish this one was staffed appropriately. Chipotle has a business model that offers a simple menu, fresh food, made to order. There are many combinations of ingredients to satisfy virtually any taste. Much healthier fare than other "fast food" chains. If you order the burrito bowl, it's really a burrito without the wrap, or a "salad" without the lettuce, but all are priced the same. We always have a great meal here. Very gluten free friendly. We just ask for a change of gloves before we order. My son likes the chicken best but the rest of us go for barbacoa! We tend to cause a slow down in the line when we ask for the glove change (sorry to those behind us!) but they always accommodate our request with a smile! read more

Do NOT order from here. At least online. I've ran into this issue a few times, and I'm just fed up. The inability to follow the instructions right on the top label is superb. This has happened every time. Either there is something missing or something that was added in, that's wasn't even on the order (like vegetables being added or rice wasn't put it). I love Chipotle, but I HATE this location! They're the worst. I've held off writing a review because I keep hoping things will improve, but they just suck every time. Lately, and I'm sure like everything it's due to COVID, (no excuse) but this location either sends me old, brown guacamole, hard rice, salad that looks like soup with 5 pieces of lettuce in it, or they just mess up and I don't get what I ordered, like today. I ordered a side of guacamole but did not get it. And Chipotle is useless when your order is messed up, they don't even answer the phone when you call! Where are you? You're expected to call DoorDash to get your money back. WHY? I paid Chipotle! Lucky for me, my awesome delivery driver went back and got my missing guacamole for me. They keep raising their prices but their attention to detail and quality suck lately. $16 for a chicken bowl that's half full/empty. SMH! read more

My rice was basically raw and the order names where all mixed up and the customer service was bad too when I asked when my food will be ready after being there on time and still waiting 10 minutes they just rolled there eyes and said almost and asked me to stay in my car. Chipotle is my favorite fast food restaurant, so I was very happy to see that there was one nearby when we moved to this area. I've been at this location 3 separate times prior to today, and was disappointed with either hair in the burrito bowl, or uncooked/hard rice. It had been nearly a year so I figured I'd give it a try again today. Pleased to report that the employees were wearing hair nets, but there were once again a lot of uncooked rice pieces in my bowl. I am not enthused by the decor... It was very plain, noisy and uninteresting. The food had great taste, but we were disappointed that they do not offer a fried shell for their taco salad. They suggest corn chips as an alternative, but charged extra for them. The corn chips were excellent, but I think they should have not been charged as they replaced the fried shell. The staff seemed a bit disinterested in their jobs, although they were friendly when you got their attention. Lunch here will cost you about $10. I will go back as the food was very fresh and tasty, but I hope there are improvements in the overall operation. read more
