Finally made it here on a nephew and Aunty day! Woohoo! Lol This is such a cute retro little place. Love the vibe and MUSIC! Came here on a Sunday afternoon, hardly no people. The place is definitely older but the vibe and music is great. I want to come back here on a Friday or Saturday night when they have live band playing. Price of bowling was good. We played approximately 1 hour and 15 mins for 4 games with 2 people. The staff was nice. My nephew and I had a lot of fun. I broke a hundred points first time ever in bowling! Woohoo! And my nephew owes me a hamburger next time we hang out, because loser's gotta buy! Lol Definitely a cute place. I didn't try any food here as we had lunch elsewhere before coming here. This place is pretty fun. With that being said, I think it is one of those bowling alleys that "knows what it is". It is a cheaper bowling alley for families and teens to go to. You aren't getting anything grand here so look elsewhere. I have been to this bowling alley three times in my life and the experience has roughly all been three star worthy except the last time, which I actually enjoyed a bit more but I think this location still deserves three stars. During this last time I went for a birthday party. We did the arcade and the laser tag as well which I hadn't done at Chippers before. The arcade though not as big as a full arcade obviously was actually really nice. All the games seemed up to date and in working order. Nice bowling arcade. Maybe this is coming from someone who hasn't played laser tag since they were a kid but that was a nice hidden gem for this place. Not a lot of hiding spots and the area wasn't huge but the game was fun. Nice experience. Hadn't really experienced the food before this trip but the pizza was good and the price seemed right for the bottled beer we ordered. Once again, this isn't a GREAT place but it is a good place. We attended here as a field trip for the summer program I work with, and I am highly impressed! This is a great location for big groups and birthday parties with affordable prices and decent food! The staff was so accommodating in setting up our screens, shoe organizing for those without the proper set up, service, and retrieving our balls, as it was many of our young ones first time bowling. They did all of it kindly, with a big smile. We were especially impressed with Alyssa who showed so much patience and understanding in an obviously busy time. Just finished our 8 year old's birthday party. The service was amazing, the pizza was pretty good and the overall value and vibe was superb. Just went bowling tonight. Got there at 4:30PM. Had a great time bowling. Until we went to close out the bar tab, the bar tender was a very nice employee but he charged us full price during happy hour. We pointed out the error after they charged our card, he offered us "fun bucks" or the equivalent of a card loaded to only spend money again at the bowling alley...not cash, not credit back to the card, just a bowling gift card. He fixed it after we asked for a proper refund multiple times. Then they charged us separately for our lane...again they charged us wrong. I have 2 young kids, one was crying and after waiting on the bar mistake we were ready to go. I pointed out the pricing was completely wrong. Sara behind the register said, well our GM says they have changed the pricing during "Christmas week". I said this doesn't match the website pricing. I asked her to fix it. She said they are running different prices not listed anywhere. She said I should have asked before swiping my card also. She refused to fix it, she refused to apologize, I asked her how a customer would know you had new secret prices right now and she just shrugged. She refused to give me her GMs name and told me to get out and have a nice night. I have her on video confirming this. My family will never be returning, sadly we would have given this place lots of money for years to come but their service is awful and the customers were treated like trash after employee mistakes and secret pricing by management. We had our 5 year olds birthday party here in July. Jeni, the event coordinator was amazing. She was easy to communicate with and made sure everything was planned out exactly as we wanted. The staff was very polite and helpful during the party. The prices are exceptional for parties! We got a large party room right next to our 2 lanes. The pizza was great. The arcade was clean and all the games worked. The young girl working our party even gave the kids extra game cards that were left over. So all-in-all it was ok. Bowling was fine, staff was attentive friendly,& the food is insanely overpriced, as is everything else. Our 2-hour Friday night included 2 games of bowling and 1 round of laser tag. Including 3 beverages one pizza and a chicken sandwich. The bill was just shy of $200 for the 2 adults & 2 kids. You can't pay per person/per game, but either 90 min or 2 hours. Sure we had fun, but when the effing bill arrived I felt taken advantage of & mourned that a business wouldn't be more upfront of the costs. We won't be returning ever again & we will certainly alert everyone who mentions going there at how expensive & non-transparent their pricing is. It's not like we were told what prices were, nor were any costs advertised other than food prices. We figured the inflated food costs were how they made their money, but it was the obnoxiously high price for 4 people to bowl 2 games. Our hope is that the establishment goes out of business & the owner is jailed for crimes against the good-natured families looking to entertain their children. In the past I've greatly enjoyed my time here. This recent visit really bummed me out. My partner and I joined another couple for a fun filled Saturday night of bowling. With my partner in grad school we were elated to take advantage of a ValuPak deal found by a friend ($10 ea. for shoes and bowling for 2 hours). After a brief wait (the place was slammin') our lane was finally ready. Our first few frames went off without a hitch - and then the pin setter upper machine went down for about a half an hour. Over the remainder of the night our lane continued to act up and the staff had to be approached in each instance of the problem. I was very disappointed that we not only missed about an hour of bowling we'd paid for but the staff were also non apologetic nor did they offer to switch us to vacant nearby lanes. To make the situation even more bothersome my partner got 3 strikes in a row and was initially awarded (we ran up to the desk and were told we could claim our turkey after our game was over), and was then denied by another staffer at the end of the night because of corporate rules (must pay full price for lane/shoes) that were not clearly stated on adverts/posters for bowling alley. As much as I've enjoyed this location in the past I will be bringing my friends and funds to another establishment moving forward. read more

Wow, what a bummer. I hate to leave negative reviews, but this place is just severely depressing. I have lived in the neighborhood for many years and after it changed into sort of a music venue, I wanted to come check it out. I came on a Friday night when there was a band playing because I wanted to check out the music, and it's nothing more than disappointing. No one seems to be in charge, the place is seemingly run by high school kids. The bartender, although super nice and friendly, might have been 16yrs old. Place is full of high school kids, which is fine, but as far as this place being a "music venue", it's not even close. That being said, there is another show coming up in a couple of weeks that I might check out just to see if the experience is any different. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place is disgusting. Teenagers running it, didn't check ID, googling drinks because they don't know how to make them, food service workers... Don't even get me started there. Lanes were terrible, too many problems, told us they couldn't move us, wouldn't let us (party of five) get two lanes, and then put another party of 6 right next to us, so there were 11 of us on one shared lane. I scheduled an event had 15 of my client showed up on a Monday night just for them to tell me it's reserved for bowling league that no one had showed up for yet The only thing they said on the phone. It's half off Mondays. The place is always dead. No need to schedule. The place is ran down. The live music is trash. Devante and Monica are both managers. 10 of us descended upon Chipper's this weekend and we had a blast. The place is totally retro and the equipment is old. The pin setter did not want to cycle after a strike was thrown and we quickly learned where the reset button was. I happy to report no other problems were encountered. I admit I was a bit leery of the place after reading some of the reviews. The pricing must have changed as it was a flat fee per 1.5 hours or 2 hours. After we divided it up it was $13/pp + shoe rental. We were on two lanes and were able to bowl 2 games. The over achievers were able to bowl 2 full games while our timer timed out while we were in the 8th frame. We asked if they would let us finish our game and they did so. We did have to wait about 30 minutes to get two lanes together but we knew that we would have to wait a bit for that. They do have a Groupon, however, it is not valid Dec. 22 - Jan. 5. Chipper's also has a game room and laser tag (which I didn't get to experience), maybe next time. read more

Brought our young grandkids for a weekday of bowling. Very nice employees that appreciate your business. Ordered a pizza will low expectations but ended up with a very good pizza. They have the string pin system now which is fine for most people but I'm not a fan as a league bowler. We just had the most amazing time at Chipper's! My partner and I are 30ish year olds, had not been there before and we were a bit apprehensive because of a few previous negative reviews, but we arrived on a Saturday night to an incredibly warm, welcoming, fun and awesome atmosphere. Every single one of the staff members were beyond friendly and helpful, especially Samantha, and it made the night that much more enjoyable. Then we bought a $25 arcade card and it is annoying as hell in terms of the sound and the overall atmosphere, it sucks. We spent $2 (as a tip) and got nothing. Last night we reserved a lane and when we got there they had a sign saying masks required. Which was correct given local mandates. But upon entering no employee wore a mask and not one patrol was wearing a mask. We canceled our lane upon seeing this obvious disregard for the community. They mentioned they had a deaf employee which we appreciate and understand, but we have deaf employees as well and they navigate the mask mandates with ease. Truly disappointing to see them use a disability as an excuse to operate outside the rules and safety precautions of their community. We will no longer support chipper lanes in any of or communities we live or work in. read more

This place is WAY too expensive for the quality and condition of the equipment. Shoes are $4.50 to rent and are falling apart. Half of the lanes are broken. We came on a Sunday and paid by the hour, and spent half of our time waiting for them to come fix things. Gutters falling apart, the guards didn't work half the time, and pinsetters were constantly knocking down pins. For the price, you'd expect them to keep the equipment up. We used our Kids Bowl Free passes to get out of the hot sun (and out of the house too) for a few hours and have some fun! The inside of this place is pretty nice and has your normal bowling decor, my kids' kept insisting that we had been there before, I kept trying to tell them that we hadn't and that all bowling alleys look the same! The lanes were kept up and were really nice. They have the electronic bumpers, which is great for kids, it helps them to not get a gutter ball every single frame (it doesn't let them get one at all... hopefully they won't have some inflated ego and go around thinking they are world class bowlers now ;) ). The customer service people were super nice and didn't make us feel bad for having to try on a bunch of sizes of shoes to find the right size. Keep moving if what you want is a 2022 black light dj'ed lounge experience with truffle fries and a bunch of other BS. We decided to have my sons party here with reservations! When we arrived 15 min early like reservation said they informed us we now have to wait for 45 minutes because they decided to let walk ins to take our lanes. Again we were on time at 12:15 for the 12:30 reservations. The lanes were broke. The fans are all not working and the bumpers didn't work for 80% of the time! Then when we were leaving we requested a discount and the MANAGER Brian told us we were impatient!?? We waited 45 minutes to bowl and then another 30 minutes for the second lane? They didn't even offer anything to us. Then when we wanted snacks they closed the kitchen because they said they were short staffed but .... There were four workers there!!!! Very disappointed and won't ever go back. The reason we went there my son worked there when he was in high school and it was his 40th! So disappointed with the staff and the RUDE comments we got!!!! Bowling is always fun and our experience here was mostly very good! Made a reservation on-line which proved helpful and the prices were very reasonable. People helping us were all very nice. The only bummer was the overzealous mask policy. Had no one within 20 feet of us the entire time, yet we were told more than once to keep masks on at all times. Our group was having so much fun with unlimited bowling, laser tag, karaoke and other games, we extended the party another 90 minutes! We had our company holiday party at Chipper's in Broomfield and reserved the whole place for our private event. Chipper's set up a casual dinner buffet and our guests were each given drink tickets to redeem at the bar. We paid for what they ordered at the end of the night, so no committing to top shelf drinks when everyone ordered draft beers! They have a full bar and staff, so no having work through expensive caterers with limited choices. We are definitely booking another event here! While Chipper's decor and equipment is a little dated, we really ever haven't a bad experience. There are always Groupons available which makes it more affordable for our large family. After filing a complaint with the staff, Sue came out and decided that insulting a customer was the way to go. We came here to enjoy bowling with a 5 year old. Your staff and management was rude to both the adults and the child. A simple apology would go a long way. Instead you degrade your customers and insult them. We will not be back. I honestly hope Sue is in the unemployment line tomorrow for her attitude. I never asked for anyone to be fired. But a simple apology goes a long way. You have ruined a great night with friends. This place was Horrible!!!! The price was outrageous!! We were there today Saturday November 3rd 2018 The lady at the front told us we couldn't pay per game! They recently changed their prices. They charge 45 for an hour and 60 for an hour an a half. PLUS 4.99 shoe rental each person. We asked if that 1 hour 30 min. would allow us to play two games for 60.00 she said yes. We come to the 6th frame on our second game and the timer took over the screen and we couldn't finish our second game. We asked the lady what happened and if we could finish and she said no!! So we payed 60.00 for one game plus shoe rentals. Over 70.00 for 1 game of bowling. Staff were very rude and gave dishonest information. We would of went elsewhere if we would of been told in advanced that we couldn't get two games in an hour and a half. Not to mention There weren't people waiting for our lane.
