I took my daughter in today for her Teen Cut. Natalia was fantastic! She's young and cool-looking, which made a great impression on my daughter, and they talked and laughed the whole time. Natalia gave advice on coloring and what would work, what the upkeep is like, and what would be too damaging. My daughter has super thick hair and Natalia carefully cut and blew it out smooth, then finished with some curl. It looks beautiful. Natalie did my hair. She's super nice, & gave my hair a thorough wash & nice straight hair style. However, horrible cut. I came in with just above waist length, very thick, coarse wavy natural hair. Ends were pretty dry and needed a trim. I loved my long hair. I told Natalie specifically I wanted to clear the dead ends & I do not want layers. I know I said this very clearly because I have always made it clear for a long time to stylists that I need to keep my length & my thick hair does not look good in layers. & I have not been disappointed with a cut since like forever until now! She said ok and that she understood. However, i ended up with a cut that has 3 different lengths (LAYERS) with the shortest length being shoulder length to the point I can no longer put my hair in a bun or a clip without it sticking out like crazy! What I do recall her doing during the haircut was getting sections of my hair without parting straight to the point it seemed like sloppy cutting. To add, the shortest length is a huge difference from the longest length! Like I really don't understand why she chose to give me this cut when I specifically told her not to give me layers. Is this a default method for newer stylists? Because it's absolutely not professional. This is an extreme difficulty for me in the morning getting ready for work now. I did not notice the cut when I left because she styled my hair stick straight. Now I am forced to waste more money and buy supplements to try to regrow my hair back fast & with the massive inconvenience of not being able to put my hair in a real bun, let alone hideous LAYERS & my beautiful length is now gone! I'm beyond pissed. Don't get your hair done by Natalie if you want to keep your length. Spending over $80 plus a 20% tip should get you a professional cut, and especially what you ask for. Not an amateur cut that is completely offensive & the opposite of what you had asked for. read more

I had an appointment at 12pm with Anel that I made a few days prior. About 15-20 minutes before my appointment, I received a call that she cannot see me at the scheduled time because the person before me had so much hair that she is running over. What if I had been on my way there already? They asked to re-schedule at 1pm, but I have work and had specifically planned to do this over my lunch break. This happens to be an important hair cut that I needed before I left on a business trip so I have a lot going on in the days prior. The person said they would call me back to see if we can make anything else work, but I never received any phone call follow-up. Just be warned that they could cancel or change your appointment very last minute because there was no pre-planning or anticipation beforehand. I can't say I would recommend or would go back because there's no guarantees they wouldn't do the same in the future. read more

I went in for a consultation with Natalie. She was very thorough and assuring . 80% of my hair was virgin while the remainder was colored with Madison reed over 6 months ago. Keeping that in mind, she came up with some options to give me highlights and a little base color specifically over my grey hair. We decided to do partial highlights and base color in very specific areas. Since I could only do weekends, I got an appointment for 6 weeks later. At that time I was still debating on the color between gold brown or chocolate -hazelnut. They both are very closely related colors and can be very hard to perceive and so I was struggling with making the decision. Up until my appointment, I sent Natalie several pictures and she always responded and helped me decipher the tones. On the day of, , first of all she helped me find a parking spot and saved my car from getting towed. Once on the chair, we went over the options again and decided to go with partial highlights with chocolate hazelnut tone. She was very thoughtful and gentle through out the process. After the wash and dry, the color was more gold than I'd wanted. While still very pretty highlights, Natalie didn't make any excuses and was apologetic and offered to retone it free of charge if I could not live with it . The color turned out very pretty and she styled it very well. So i decided to keep it and left happy from there. Got many compliments at work but I still decided to get it retoned and reached out to Natalie. She accommodated me right away and this time she got the color perfectly right. The color looks beautiful and even after 5 washes, the color looks vibrant and my hair looks great. The picture below doesn't do complete justice but I really like it the way it looks styled or not. Last week I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Chiquis herself! There was a last minute cancelation and she was able to give me a much needed haircut. She added layers, cut my hair to the length I wanted, and recut my side bangs. Throughout my visit she showed her knowledge and passion for doing hair and I am grateful for the experience I had.
