Alrighty, so I've passed by this place for years and finally on 1/2/26 I decided to stop by and try this spot. It's a tiny little spot on the corner of pepper and Alessandro. This big sign out front is sorta painted over so it can be hard to find but if you're are familiar with Moval than it should be no problem. Anyways let's get started with the review. They have a big menu with lots of meat choices which I like. This includes buche and Cabeza ( love cabeza) anyways I ordered a California burrito with cabeza and I also order a cup of champurrado. Waited for my food which wasn't long then again I was the only person there. The burrito was massive and let me tell you, the cabeza was on point. It was tasty and full of meat and cream. Just made my mouth water. So 5/5 for the burrito. The champurrado was perfect. Wasn't too hot nor too cold. Had the right amount of thickness. Not to thick and not to watery. So 5/5. You may ask why not a 5/5 over all for the yelp review. You must bring cash as they do except debt/credit card but there's a hefty fee for using it. So fair warning bring cash if you come so you're not paying the ridiculous fee. But overall I would definitely come back!!! read more

Ordered a plate with tamales for delivery and then got a call stating they did not have tamales so they sent chicken tacos instead. They were horrible. The chicken tasted like it was exposed to refrigerator air. I got a fish taco as well. That had no flavor and was not one of the better fish tacos I have had. Likely would not order from here again. The beans and rice were the only good part of my meal. I give this place a two stars because I ordered a burrito and two tacos. First, the burrito is a good size. I don't know if it's just me but it didn't come with any rice just meat, guacamole, onions and cilantro. Tacos only came with meat and guacamole no onion and cilantro. The flour tortilla for the burrito was hard and so was the corn tortilla for the tacos. I just took all the meat out and used my own tortillas. Because it was too rough. The service was normal and seating. But I wish they had beans and rice in my burrito. Their green sauce is my fav. read more

Stopped by on a whim while driving past. I always like to give hole in the wall mom and pop shops a go, sometimes it turns out to be a real find...this time NOT. We had the sopes, shredded beef taco and Chile relleno burrito. I should have known when the person taking the order didn't know what was in the burrito not to order it, but I did anyway. Regret....Burrito was covered in heavy serving of beans along with a stringy green chile rolled in a scrambled egg. Seriously you couldn't really taste the chile. Taco and sopes had strong pork taste which is ok if you eat pork...but I don't. If you aren't able to cook decent Mexican food at home or know what good Mexican food tastes like then this would be the place for you. I tried this place to as a recommend from yelp ad a hot and new Mexican restaurant. I found the food average. They have table service. The place is a little noise from the road side traffic of Alesandro Blvd. The place was clean while I was there. I was turned off by the dollar extra charge for using a credit card. The atmosphere had an old fashion but poor feel to it, like the toy gum ball machine for children. There is outdoor seating and gender neutral restroom. The food was not bad but not great. The taco shell was a bit tough as was the meat. I will give them this, the service was GOOD. read more

I got there a few minutes after and order wasn't ready when I went to pay then again asked her if how long were they going to take she said they are about done. Wanted some nachos and a coworker recommended coming here. I've always known about this place, but it didn't have many reviews on Yelp so I always ended up going somewhere else. The lady taking my order was nice and I ended up getting the Supreme Nachos asada. It was good overall, meat wasn't chewy or overcooked. My only gripe was that the corn chips were slightly stale, but it wasn't a huge deal for me. I like they use NACHO cheese and not just shredded or crumbled cheese. My experience was good, so I imagine the other menu items would be good too. Worth a try. read more

I don't know how they got four stars, unless they bought their reviews. This place is like a Taqueria that wants to charge restaurant prices. I paid a total of $10.05 for a carne asada burrito. The girl told me that the burrito only comes with meat and avocado. No rice and beans. They told me is .$90 cents extra for each of those items. Come on people! Even lunch trucks humble themselves and put rice and beans in their burritos without nickle and diming people. Those $.90 cents are the reason i will not come back for years to come. Whoever runs this business needs to get the boot and the next person needs to realize that the $.90 extra cents is not worth losing a repetitive customer. But, how much you guys want to bet they won't change a thing, and that's why the business was lonely when i went. Oh, and by the way they didn't even mentioned the $.38 cent service fee when they run my card. Dirty! read more

Ok, I today I gave the place a try and well....unfortunately very disappointed. I stuck to just a carnitas Burrito and well let's say it was ok and not great. First off the Burrito was huge and this is a plus. I asked for a carnitas burrito with bean cheese and rice and this was a big fail. Apparently $11 doesn't make the cook remember the beans , so no beans . The carnitas was so dry I was bummed out. I asked for red sauce and received only green:( The rice has carrots and I don't get why some Mexicans places used carrots in the rice ?? I liked this place 2 years ago but it's getting overpriced and not only that but they don't accept credit cards or anything else but CASH. They tell you to use their personal ATM machine and you end up paying like $3 extra dollars to pull money out for a burrito. That's messed up. read more

There is something fun about ordering a $4-$5 Bean&Cheese burrito and walking away with a 'horse's leg sized sack! This is sort of one of those places. A variable menu of mexian/american fried fast foods with a walk-up counter. Beans-good, Cheese-present, Tortilla-chewey, Size-giant. Overall a standard satisfactory bean&cheeser. The last time I had good Mexican food was in Escondido, and little did I know this shop is the same owner. Food was delish, order Pollock's asado supreme nachos and a cheese enchilada. Hands-down best Mexican food in the area! Not even close. From the way they toast their tortilla to the fact that they take time fully melt the cheese into their frijoles. Fritos are fire, quesadilla Supremes are fire, breakfast burritos are out of this world! Rolled tacos with fresh lettuce cheese and guacamole. All of the SoCal classics are done to perfection. Carne asada, California, etc., etc. Even their green salsa is on point. Just enough heat with all the flavor do you want. This place is truly a hidden gem. Lack of reviews is honestly the only thing that has kept me from coming here. I pass by all the time and even though I do see customers there it's just so weird there aren't any reviews! Well, my curiosity finally got the best of me and I decided to pull up. Taco shops such as these I like to order the taquitos, or rolled tacos whatever you like to call them lol No lie them thangs was HITTING! I've never had a more crispy taquito that stayed crispy! They come topped with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. Chito tried to call is "pico" but its definitely just chopped tomatoes but its ok I still tore it down. The green sauce is soo good too and spicy which I love, usually don't care for the green sauce since its always extra mild but this one is good! Chito's you're good in my book! read more

As self-proclaimed "carne asada fries" and "carne asada anything" connoisseurs, my bf and I agree that this place has the best carne asada/carne asada fries in the Inland Empire to date. Don't let the little "hole-in-the-wall" location deter or fool you into thinking that the food wouldn't be good or tasty. The portions are generous, and their is only the one size (a typical larger styrofoam to-go container) completely filled. The fries are fried to perfection, not limp, mushy, fries- eeew . Obviously once left to sit in the toppings for a long while, they can get soggy. They add a creamy cheese, along with another cheese blend (Monterrey Jack/Mexican quesadilla cheese), generous portion of carne asada, sour cream, guacamole mixed with fresh mild picó de gallo (tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapeños) we order extra picó de gallo cause we like it. We love how much meat is loaded on the fries, and the quality of the meat used. No gristly, super greasy bits of asada. The meat is also well seasoned and tender. If you happen have leftovers, simply reheat them preferably in the oven, in a cast iron skillet add some more cheese, and bam- asada fries are back to life! We love their asada burritos. They are all meat, choice of salsa (their salsas are super tasty) green is hot, red is mild/medium, guacamole. We've had their taquitos (they have a creamy avocado salsa on them, with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes,) tortas, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, all super tasty. After driving by this place so many times I decided to give it a shot. Totally worth it! I got the carne asada torta and fries combo for $6. The torta was delicious and portion was enough to share. My hubby got the 2 beef taco combo that comes with rice and beans for around $6 as well. Location is a bit sketchy and I can see why people would not want to stop and try.
