Great food -- we usually come here because the fish tacos are excellent. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to how the situation was handled by the manager, Rodrigo. Our order was mistakenly given to another customer, and we ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes for it to be remade. While we understand mistakes happen, what mattered most was how it was handled. My husband politely asked if anything could be done to make up for the inconvenience. The cashier checked with Rodrigo, who declined, saying we didn't "have to wait anymore time" -- even though we clearly did. My husband then asked to speak with him directly, but we were told he was on the phone and would come out shortly. He never did. This wasn't about the delay -- it was about the lack of accountability and customer care. Unfortunately, this experience makes us hesitant to return. read more

Before coming to this place , I was warned.. The legend is true,This food is terrible. Came in for a quick lunch with my girlfriend. We had ordered the pastor torta, fish tacos,and quesabirria. I don't know if they forgot to turn on the stove or didn't pay their gas bill, but the food was freaking COLDDD!! they're stingy with the portions. Tacos were good but small. My shrimp tacos only had 2 shrimps inside. They needed more crema sauce. At $4.50 each, it would've been awesome if they were bigger, at least like Senor Baja's. 2 stars just because it's edible. But I'm rating it because I've eaten too many tacos in my life to give this type of review. The tacos are mediocre at best. Asada just taste like plain beef, pastor is chicken and lacks any flavor, tortilla was a yellow corn which does not mix well with their meat selection. The fish taco was the only thing that tasted good but it was the smallest fish taco I've ever seen. 4.50 for the tiniest fish taco is not worth it compared to other fish taco places. I won't be back. To be exact i was here April 3 2026 at8:43 pm for a Friday on a fish Friday u would think they would have 2 cashiers taking orders but they only had 1 girl to be exact her name is Nataly she had to deal with taking all orders handing out 3rd party delivery and also complains mean while they had 3 cooks. Pretty good fish tacos in the area! We liked how crispy and hot the fish was. The place seems to be more popular in the plaza area and for a reason. I also liked how they also give a huge slab of a jalapeno with it. Though I do wish they had some kind of white sauce to go with it. The people working behind the counter were super nice as well. Came as a party of four around 11 on a Friday. There was plenty of seating. The restaurant was clean, and busy enough for an early lunch. We each ordered separately. The staff were friendly and helped answer my questions. I ordered two grilled fish tacos. They came out in about 15 minutes. A little slow, but we weren't in a rush. They came with a pack of green salsa and a pack of red salsa. It also came with a large fresh lightly fried in oil or grilled jalapeño. I liked the red salsa better than the green, it had more flavor. The fish tacos themselves were fresh. I would say standard at best. I also ordered the horchata. Sleepy town center. I had lunch here with my toddler and husband around noon time. Pretty empty aside from one table occupied in the front. Clean interior and lots of indoor and outdoor patio seating. Didn't use their restroom so can't comment on that. Cashier was friendly and patient with us while we reviewed their menu. Ordered three Baja style battered fish tacos, one birria taco (not street one because those are smaller sized), one potato taco, and one quesadilla (for the toddler). Also ordered a large piña agua fresca which was given right there after paying. Our order was called less than 10 minutes later. We dined in the outside patio that has umbrella covers. The first thing we noticed were the chiles are different. We got green chiles instead of the yellow ones with lemon pepper like the Perris location. The green ones also had a bit of heat to them like the yellow ones but we still prefer the yellow. All tacos came with fresh pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, and green/red salsa. The quesadilla also came with a grilled green pepper and small container of sour cream. Another thing is the taco batter seemed saltier here. Even the quesadilla had residual bit of saltiness too. The piña agua fresca was refreshing which helped chase down the spicy chile and saltiness. If we are in the area again, we may try them again. Overall, the La Bufadora taco truck in San Bernardino and the Perris are our favorite spots due to their consistency. read more

So glad I came. Bufadora was a great surprise. They got super busy around lunch on a Wednesday. So shout out to the crew for working hard and fast to pump out orders. I ordered the carnitas nachos and a pastor taco. Both , just to sample and try. About $14 for both. Which is fair for the portions, taste and quality. My nachos were delicious and fresh from beginning to end. My taco was on point too. Plenty of toppings on my nachos. No complaints on either. This place met my expectations and exceeded. Definitely coming back to explore the menu. Bufadora has plenty of locations. So now that I'm familiar with them, I will definitely recommend them to people and stop by more often. I've gone here for years and lately I've been ordering through a delivery service and gosh, you'd think an order is an order and should be treated with the sane quality regardless of how it's placed. Not the case. The packaging/containers is so inconsistent and it's like they pick and choose when they want to send the chiles. This time my tacos had no flavor to them. I requested napkins with my order and got no napkins, but 2 little weird containers for individual tacos then another 2 wrapped in this foil stuff.. why can't they all just be in a decent sized container for convenience?
