Finally, I felt like the pricing was super fair for the quality of work that was done/tan that was given and how easy the whole process was. I recently tried a different place and realized that facials are a relaxing, refreshing, and scientific thing! La Remede had a nice look to it, but the staff wasn't very attentive, they set me up and left me there. No relaxing music, not great customer service, just sitting at a vanity out in the open with hot steam blowing on my face for 20 minutes. Having had a facial with an engaged staff that seemed to enjoy explaining the process and products, I now realize that I do like facials. I just didn't get a good effort out of my neighborhood spa.

She gave me a suggestion based on my skin type and I booked for an appointment that coming Saturday. When I walked into her room, she greeted me with a smile, and, a glass of wine! It was a delicious red blend, apothic maybe, and set me in such a relaxing mood while I filled out the new patient papers. Once we began the treatment, Amber did an amazing job at making sure I felt comfortable, and had a good understanding of what it was she was treating at that time. I'm a bit more curious than some, so asked questions, which she skillfully answered. After the treatment my skin felt so fresh and amazing, I was very impressed at what she was able to do. Also, I purchased a few of the products she offers, and I swear the Seaweed Oil I use is a godsend, and I don't know how I ever survived without it! My most recent visit to Amber was to focus on dry skin that the Chicago winter had caused on my face. As a Florida native, my body just will never get used to the cold weather. She was able to personalize her winter facial special to my skin type, and I left once again feeling even more hydrated and beautiful than before. Sadly, I have since relocated to Denver and can't visit Amber as frequently as I would like.
