Cheapest Price & Best Service!…read more Pricing & Options: We called around so many places (even the really sketchy ones) and this was by far the cheapest. For our 2012 BMW four-door, it was $150 for all four windows plus the back. Prices vary by car. They also have tons of tint options--blackout, 75%, 50%, 25%, 10%, 5%--and sample glass so you can see what each looks like. First Impressions & Location: The area looks a little ghetto (not unsafe, just not Beverly Hills nice), but the actual shop is clean and freshly painted. It looks like a garage setup--you just drive in, park, and they start working right away. Service & Staff: Jose helped us when we first arrived. Super friendly, explained everything clearly, and speaks both English and Spanish (a big plus since many cheap places only spoke Spanish). Derek did the actual tinting--very kind, worked fast, and did an excellent job. No bubbles, no scratches, everything came out clean. Extra Touches: They put little reminder stickers on the window buttons so you don't roll them down for 3-5 days. At first we said no, but after I accidentally rolled mine down, we agreed. Stickers actually looked fine and were really useful. Derek even checked the window afterward and made sure everything was still perfect. Wait Time & Amenities: It took about an hour. There's a small waiting area with water inside, a bench outside, and a restroom available. Not much to do in the immediate area, but the wait went by quickly. Other Notes: There's an older man sitting inside the glass area where they sell radios/GPS--he mostly just watched TV and pointed us to Jose if we asked anything. Not a big deal, just a funny observation. Street parking is available if you're not pulling into the garage for service. They also do car wraps in different colors (quoted my sister about $2,500 for a pink wrap). Overall: Clean shop, unbeatable prices, great customer service, and quality work. Jose made the process smooth, and Derek's work was excellent. Definitely recommend and would come back again.

Total came to $380, which is an absolute steal for this level of quality and service. Note that pricing depends on your specific car, but the value here is hard to beat.

Randomly chose this place from a list Google Maps provided along my morning commute. Cozy space…read more The guy that took my order was super nice. I was pleasantly surprised to see the small nook for reading and ample places to eat and work. The window stations all had outlets and there was even a printer! I ordered the lox bagel with egg and a hot pistachio latte. The latte was unexpected. I read pistachio/raspberry, but didn't expect to taste pieces of pistachio and raspberries. I liked it! Keep this in mind for those of you that don't like texture. Carefully read the description or ask ahead of time. Look at my bagel sandwich. It was so thoughtfully made. It made me excited to eat it and it was pretty tasty too. I prefer my bagels a little more toasted, but that's no fault of theirs. I will definitely come back anytime. I get a chance to taste some of their other drinks and try their oatmeal. What would have made this visit perfect is if they had some background music playing. It was just..different to be in a coffee space just hearing sounds of the fridge, AC, feel shuffling and general operations.. hehe. Great for studying I guess. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. I thankfully found a parking spot in a retail center.

I delayed writing this review to really think through, and now I will confidently say--these are…read moreeasily the best tacos I've ever had. Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

Yummy Tijuana style tacos! We stopped by after leaving an event near DTLA. I've seen so many good…read morereviews of this place, I was excited to try after bookmarking it for awhile. We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.
