She knows that YELP doesn't allow US CUSTOMERS to respond to the business owner's reply and that they get the last word on here, so they make it try to appear as though the customer is wrong or being unreasonable...so I am posting again to let everyone know how full of it these business owners are and how they are clearly trying to save themselves from ANOTHER horrible review, because they have MANY. And why am I going through this trouble? To make sure that you good people out there do not use this company and end up going through what we did with them. TRACY SAID "You contacted us twice on July 12th regarding an issue with the heater not working and the water not flowing from the spa to the pool. Our associate spent time on the phone attempting to help you troubleshoot the valve positions and asked that you call us back if the issue continued. We did not hear from you again until the morning of July 14th." Wow, Tracy...you keep making yourself look worse and worse...what actually happened was that I contacted YOU on Saturday and spoke to your associate TWICE and had to waste a ton of time on two different calls troubleshooting the problem and NOTHING he told me to do actually worked, completely wasting our precious time. And the reason you didn't hear from me AGAIN is because my SECOND call had been a 10 minute call that was made at 3:54...AND YOU CLOSE AT 4pm!!!! AND your business doesn't open again UNTIL MONDAY MORNING!!!! So I actually have to tell YOU what YOUR business hours are AND when you are open and closed??? YOU ALSO SAID "The cleaning and chemical balancing services you were charged for were completed as scheduled, in accordance with our service terms." Well, Tracy...again...in accordance to service terms, and for a visit to be "COMPLETED AS SCHEDULED", YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO SET THE POOL SYSTEM VALVES & SETTINGS CORRECTLY PER YOUR OWN INSTRUCTIONS (NOTES AND PHOTOS)!!! If you didn't do that, you DID NOT "complete as scheduled"!!! If the valves and system were not RETURNED TO THEIR ORIGINAL AND PROPER POSITION, you did not "COMPLETE AS SCHEDULED". If YOUR SERVICE VISIT and carelessness caused MULTIPLE ISSUES with our pool systems, then YOU DID NOT "COMPLETE AS SCHEDULED"!!! And this is all on top of the fact that because of what the technicians did, our system was malfunctioning FOR DAYS!!! "Complete as scheduled" means that you did what YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DO...and PROPERLY". Which you did NOT do. Yet, you STILL charged us FULL PRICE WITH NO DISCOUNT AT ALL for that service AND all the aggravation and inconvenience you caused us, YOUR CUSTOMERS, as detailed in my original post. They installed a 2021 instead of a recent one- we saw the label after it was installed the next day. During the install after they put everything back together, my valve was now (cracked) leaking. It was working perfectly fine before they replaced the filter. They put silicone on it, and that didn't work. When I reached out about the valve still leaking . . He said it needed to get replaced and they were going to charge me to replace the valve that they broke. We ended up calling a different company to come out and replace the valve.

The agreement was signed on the 2nd of March 2026. I wish that I could post photos here, but In the interest of complete transparency, I invite anyone interested to inspect the work at 354 W Christine Road, Nottingham; PA . According to Clarks, this is the highstandard of work that they deliver. 1. The area around the pool is "machine graded" as per the contract. My understanding at least from the initial verbal assurances was that this would end as a 1 by 3 slope. There is leftover stone and debris which Clarke claims they are not responsible for 2. The sides of the pool are warped. Clarkes assures us that this will be fixed when the pool cover is installed but they cannot provide a specific date. 3. Piles of excavated material is left over, even though the contract specifies that excavated material should be removed. 4. The outside grill for the Heat Pump unit that Clarks installed is damaged. This might indicate that the unit was dropped or bumped during the installation. 5. Clarkes insists that all approvals regarding permits are my responsibility. I can't even get a complete list of inspections that were done or completed, just an assurance that everything was done. So after spending 120 K, I do have a plastic tub in the backyard. Not quite what I expected. The good part is the the folks were really quite pleasant up until the contract was signed.

So now we have the wrong pool sitting in our yard that we may or may not be able to use as we need it partially buried. We can't tell if we were scammed or if this was just due to incompetence, but either way it was a terrible experience and we want to warn others. We ordered a pool from D and L in April and specifically requested the backfillable Aquasports pool because are yard has a steep slope and the pool was to be partially buried. We paid the price that we expected for the quality pool we were purchasing, as confirmed with other retailers. The pool was manufactured and then sent right to the installer, who installed the pool at the end of May. After looking into backfilling the pool, we discovered that we had received a much lower quality pool than what we ordered. We went to D and L and were told that we had the correct pool and the price was correct. After arguing back and forth, we called Aquasports who said that the price we paid was high for that low end model and specified a different pool store to contact, who we then called and confirmed pricing with. After more back and forth, the person working at D and L acknowledged that they ordered us the wrong pool and refunded us the difference in the pool costs, with the understanding that we cannot use the lower quality pool and we still wanted the right pool. He said he would let the owner, Jerry, know what the situation was and work something out. After not hearing anything for a week, we tried calling several days in a row and finally got a hold of Jerry, who claimed he had not been told about this situation. After a long phone call, Jerry said he would look into it. After another week of not hearing anything and not being able to get Jerry on the phone, we went to the store. Jerry was in and denied having spoken to us over the phone the previous week. Said he would make some phone calls that day and figure something out. After following up over the phone the next day, Jerry had said he had not heard anything back and after a little more back and forth Jerry hung up on us. Followed up a few days later and spoke to the original person who sold us the pool, they said they were waiting to hear back from the installer and Aquasports and they would get back to us. Haven't heard anything in over a week, and we're still stuck with this pool that doesn't meet our needs.

So I was a faithful customer for 25 years. Even travelled from Burlington past other pool supply…read morebusinesses. Spent a lot of money in those years.Until I called for chlorine a few weeks ago and was told I had to pay 190 dollars for one of the last 6 ,25 pound buckets. Really!
