Two Ube Crinkle, two Chocolate Chip Cookies
    Izzy T.

One of our top favorite cookie spots for ooey gooey fluffy cookies! We love that they have flavors that rotate as well as their classic chocolate chip cookies. Keep in mind it is a store front but there's no seating! It's tucked away on el Camino but it's such a cute little secret cookie spot! The service was so quick and he was super nice he caught us eating them in the parking lot haha if you're new to it and just want to try it out, they have day after cookies for a discount (if available), or check them out on TooGoodToGo (food saving app!) every now and then you can save cookies (your benefit 1000%)! But I do recommend trying them nice and fresh too

Tucked behind a gas station that can be easily missed from the outside but if you're craving some really good and fresh chocolate chip cookies this is the spot! The shop itself isn't anything crazy or aesthetically pleasing but it works for the service. It's a grab and go type of shop where you just order at the front and the person grabs the cookie for them after. You can tell the cookies were baked in perfection as they are giving out in a box which is still warm. The chocolate chip is gooey once you bit into it and it has the just amount of sweetness! They even sell milk which I heard was pretty good! I also like that they have discounted prices for their cookies that they didn't sell the day before.

I enjoy these cookies to the fullest extent! I've tried the triple chocolate, ube, chocolate chip, and red velvet. My favs are the top three I listed. These cookies are huuuge and I do share these bc I can literally eat one by myself, maybe 2 in a day if I'm hungry but the other two I buy it for my fam and friends. I only share bc I can't finish these bad boys but trust me if it were smaller I wouldn't lol. The shop is small and only to go orders and the service is super fast! The workers are very friendly and when I order these cookies I ask for the ones just out of the oven bc it's super moist and fudgy. The cookies have a nice little crunch on the outside texture but super gooey inside just baked perfectly! I literally feel like these are perfectly made cookies. Everyone I've given these cookies to have enjoyed it and it is a really nice gift to buy for fam and friends.

Love love love their cookies!! I think the bad reviews left behind were because they aren't cheap. 4 different cookies in a box = $17.99 The cookies are warm and popping out of the oven. The cookies are very big can be cut in half to share They offer catering! The team is friendly and quick. They are open late on the weekends so perfect snack to get for a movie or dessert. My favorite cookie it the Ube one. It's not a place to sit and eat at It's a place to pick up and go cozy up at home. I recommend it if you're looking for a worth it cookie. $$= cookie heaven

Cookies: All were a 6/10 except the chocolate chip was a 9/10

The cookies were okay! I was definitely not expecting to only like the regular chocolate chip cookie but that was the only one I really enjoyed eating. I would recommend that you do not get the ube crinkle cookie as it was the worst one we had. It also confused me? It's not even a real crinkle cookie and tastes nothing like ube. The employee added the powdered sugar once we ordered the cookie. Overall, I probably wouldn't be back but if I go ever go back I'd get the chocolate chip cookie.

The cookies were warm and crunchy and the service was great. My favorites were the cookies and cream and ube crinkle. The chocolate chip one was alright and i did not like the lemon sunshine even though Im a huge lemon fan, tasted a bit too artificial.

These are way better than Crumbl and Insomnia Cookies. If anything, it is more of the price that got me sold. I love cookies and I will definitely come back for more since I crave a nice warm cookie with a glass of oat milk. Service was quick and easy. Their warm cookies straight from the oven with crispy edges is super buttery and ooey gooey with each bite. The worker assisting me was super nice and friendly. It is behind the gas station and I had trouble finding the location. For real, definitely one of the best cookies I had for a great steal!

I can only review based on my online ordering experience! I ordered a four pack for my sister in law, and the process was straightforward and easy. I received a text when the driver was nearby as well as when it was delivered. Although I didn't have the pleasure of eating them, it made someone's day extra sweet! The only thing that made me a little bummed out was that the note that I wanted included wasn't delivered with the cookies. That's a bummer especially since sometimes it's the note that makes the gift!

I've tried Choc cookies a handful of times. This is the first time though that I've ever been to pick up an order. I ordered online. I put a time in for 10:15pm. I knew parking was tight here, but really didn't expect it to be that tight. So be aware. Got there at 10pm. Parking was def limited. Walked in and they have a small fridge of drinks like milk. A counter to order if you do walk in. A bunch of ovens. The worker at the front was attentive and nice. My order was ready to go waiting for me. It's seriously a hole in the wall. A staple here now I feel like for Santa Clara. Their chocolate chip cookie are delicious. One of my favorites. Also the ube one too. They're huge! 4 come in a box. They can mix and match the different flavors.

Love! Cookies are filling and huge. Hard texture on outside. Soft on the inside. Ube flavor stands out. Layout is nice and service is quick. Although it be nice to have some tables to try a few bites.

These cookies are so soft and yummy with crisp edges. Staff is super fast with it/offer recs on new flavors! I am here regularly

Ordered the chocolate chip, triple chocolate, cookies and cream for the kid, and the ginger chai. The chocolate chip is one of the best cookies I have ever tried. Very rich and gooey the way I like them. 5/5. The triple chocolate was easily just as good. Chocolatey almost brownie like. 5/5. I've had the cookies and cream before but since it was for the kid, I didn't try it this time because I didn't want to take a bite of her cookie but that one is 4.5/5. Then there is the ginger chai.....my girlfriend said absolutely not after the first bite. The crumb is super moist and the glaze on top is good but I have to agree with her that the ginger is just too strong for this cookie. I enjoy a good spiced cookie but this was a bit much. 2/5 but I've had a few of their other flavors like Ube and the M&M one and both of those are stellar so I'm not going to punish them for one cookie that kisses the mark. This place has become my go to spot for cookies and to be honest this hidden gem of a place needs to get more pub.

    Mahima D.

You can only get a box of 4 minimum which is really my only con about this spot. In love with their cookies and cream and regular flavor! Super good, maybe one of the best cookies I've ever had. Great soft chewy middle and crispy edges. Red velvet was my least fave. Will definitely come back!

Ask the Community - Choc Cookies

Are all cookies inspired by the size of Levains in NY (I read 6 oz)? Thanks :)

Address is not on Yelp but I see the pick up address on pomeroy, so can we walk in to that location and purchase cookies? Can we pay by credit/debit card at the store front?

You should be able to see the address right under the map on the business page. It is: 1614 Pomeroy Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95051…

How are these in size, price and quality to Costco cookies and other reputable places?

Better than Costco cookies. Whole foods brown butter cookies are better than Costco cookies. this place was fresher, tastier than whole foods brown butter cookies. The cookies were warm when I bought them. Price is about the same as whole foods.

What time do they really open? Yelp shows open at 5:30pm to 10pm but when you call it says on their voicemail that they open at 6:30pm to 11pm.

When I've ordered cookies online, I have placed orders as early as 530. Not sure if it's changed since I last ordered about 2 weeks ago.

    Is it preorder only?

Nope, you can show up and order there as well!

Beautiful, flaky, sweet and savory; there are so many delicious options. Gourmet pastries with gourmet coffee equals perfection. Best way to start the morning. I love that. You can actually see them fresh baking pastries while you're sitting. We didn't go overly sweet because it was the morning, but I would love to come back in the afternoon to have a nice sweet treat and a cappuccino. For my family of three we definitely got over excited in order too much, but each bite was delicious. We got a leek quiche, a banana latte, spinach, artichoke danish, mango croissant, almond croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant. I was trying to increase the protein to not spike my blood sugar. Lol. I'd have to say the mango and the almond croissant were probably my favorite. The strong second would definitely be the artichoke and spinach croissant danish thing. Sorry, I forgot what they called it. They offered to heat it up a bit and I definitely recommend this. They did the perfect temperature for the perfect timing. Just enough to make the outside flaky and the inside warm and soft. The pieces that had cheeses were so much better warmed up. They definitely know what they're doing there. Seating was great. I'd love the decor. You can also order off of a menu, but we were too enamored with the actual pastries to even glance at it. I took photos but made sure to not take photos of the staff. I let the staff know that I wouldn't include their faces without their permission. they were very friendly and very appreciative. My family loved your little shop and we will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Loved it! Got a matcha donut thing which was in a sleeve... it had so much filling... it was way too much for me. I think the last thing I got was some garlic cheese croissant. That was delicious. Too heavy for me. They had sample cake slices at the counter! I tried the cake and it was also delicious. One con: the service... the guy that took my order seemed so harsh.... Like I was interrupting him and should hurry up and finish ordering. I didn't take long or anything. Just an unfriendly tone. But service was quick and I was satisfied with what I got. I had such a fun time exploring their bakery and café offerings. It's the kind of place where everything looks too good to pass up. I started with a Cappuccino 16oz (creamy, rich, and the perfect morning pick-me-up) and a Caramel Macchiato 16oz with oat milk for a smooth, slightly sweet twist. The pastries were next-level: the Mango Cream Donut was light, fluffy, and bursting with fruity goodness, and the Guava Danish was perfectly flaky and sweet with just the right hint of tropical flavor. *Tina's Tips: - Grab a tray, tongs, and parchment paper to make picking your pastries fun and easy. - Add all the pastries you want and checkout at the counter. - If you buy a cake, ask them to hold it while you enjoy your coffee and treats in the café. It's a nice little bonus! Just come here with your friends or yourself! This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. They added more decorations and seating from 2 years ago, making the inside more aesthetic. whaT's More always has unique Asian flavors, like durian, earl grey, pandan, red bean, and oolong. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. I will be ordering my next cake from here again!

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was near 5pm. I walked in and the place was empty. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me. I asked for a strawberry smoothie, then walked around to survey all the baked goods. It's a small bakery with lots of trays of individually packaged cakes and pastries. The smell was very pleasant and comforting. Using a flat basket (or tray) I grabbed a few selections. I picked 2 "Heart Pies" that resembled my favorite French Butterfly Cookies. Also 2 pound cakes. The total rang up to just over $21. There's some small tables for enjoying your purchases there, but I took my items to go. The icy cold fruit smoothie was very good and very cold! Not too sweet, it had a natural strawberry taste. The Heart Pies were good and fresh. But the Pound Cakes were probably "day old." I noticed there's no dates or "best by" tags on the packages. It's a nice place to visit, and I will return again. Another gentleman was taking a video call to help decide the best cake to buy. Will add this bake shop for a place to have a coffee meeting and to favorite in Too Good To Go.

I was there the day they popped up on DoorDash for the first time, and one day after having tried all the other local cookie spots I gave it a go. Same strange funny sensation of creeping up on a drug deal in the night but it's all above board. Nothing more amusing than standing there at 11 pm in the dark waiting for cookies when 2 tech bros roll up in their little vests chatting about work to sidle up and order for THEIR first time. Now, a year later, everyone knows about the yum, they've got a webstore, do catering, have quit DoorDash, and cookies are selling out! Looks like they're taking off and this is good! Bills paid in the Bay! Maybe we'll get them enough revenue to introduce loyalty points and get a storefront to keep up with demand. But let's hope it doesn't get too big, there's something magical about these homey cookies made with love.
