The bake shop is small, clean, with simple black wall decor. When you walk in there is an oven area to your left and the cashier is in-front of a small counter straight ahead. All orders are to go as there are no tables or chairs inside. We ordered their popular $10.00 Tuesday special which includes 4 chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were huge and plump in the center. They were soft, chewy, and delicious. The center was gooey with plenty of big chucks of chocolate. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Choc Cookies. The staff were nice and helpful. The entire cookie is densely packed with chocolate chips. This means you'll always get plenty of chocolate in each bite. The slight downside to this is that the cookie leans on the sweeter side. Unfortunately, I never cared for sugar cookies, but was opened minded especially the purple icing was calling to me. Cookies are lovingly packed including instructions for reheating and a thank you sticker from the owner I taste tested a sliver w/out reheating. The cookie and icing were not overly sweet with a slight lemon flavor. Softer than I expected. Chewy and crumbly, but not dry. When I try it heated, it will get that crispy outside texture. This cookie can be dressed up for an end of dinner dessert warmed up with a scoop of ice cream or sorbet. The bake shop is in an old mini strip of small shops hidden behind a gas station in a high density housing are with lots of apartment complex and sparse parking.
