We went here for my in laws birthday and man we're these desserts elaborate. They had fine attention to detail and were aesthetically immaculate to say the least. I'm a big fan of just plan old ice cream but I really appreciate the craftsmanship here. They really don't compromise flavor for the appeal of their desserts either and they taste just as good as they look. Upon walking in the place, it looks cute and clean. The staff was young and not very helpful as this was our first time coming. I had followed their social media and wanted to try the knafe milkshake but they told me they don't have it. Then I wanted to taste the French macarons and get one of the avocado fruit cups. The fruit cup was delicious but the French macarons were absolutely disgusting. I would recommend you either stop making them or learn how to make them the right way. These were in no way French macarons. I ordered 3, took a bite of one and tossed the rest. The crowd here is very young, all loud teenagers and friends of the people who work there. We didn't enjoy sitting inside. I don't know what the hype is about this place to be honest. Outside of it looking pretty, I don't see this place lasting very long going off the unfriendly staff and the quality of taste. We will not be returning. read more

Big thanks to the owner for going above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dessert experience at Choco Mania this evening! We sure did! The rolled ice cream, milkshake, smoothie, coffee, and crêpe varieties are absolutely everything you'd imagine, and even then some! We ordered 3 crepes; 2 of which were with strawberry and filling, topped with white chocolate drizzle. Absolutely delicious! We also got an extra large milkshake (yes we finished it all too!) as well as a strawberry mango smoothie. I tried to give a 0/5 but that was not possible. We arrived for my best friends birthday just wanting a nice cafe to enjoy our night at. However, choco was far from it! Friend 1 ordered an Elote (Mexican corn) which came in a cup and consisted of a few corn kernels, crushed taki's, and mayo of all things. It was very gross and tasted like a cup of hot Taki's and mayo. My other friend ordered a Mangonada frozen drink which tasted like squeezed lemons and straight tajin and cost her $12 :| While she was waiting for her order to be made she headed off to use the restroom where she found a massive green horse shit waiting for her in the toilet that looked like it had been there for the entire day. Overall I was very unhappy with this experience and we vowed never to return because of the overpriced products that were poorly constructed. read more

Ordered a crepe and a cannoli, and neither was something we'd go out of our way for ever again. The cannoli was awful. It was actually soggy, instead of crispy. The cannoli filling even tasted sour, we didn't finish it between 2 people. The crepe was ok, but basically only tasted like chocolate syrup. You couldn't taste any of the other flavors because of how much chocolate syrup was on there. I wish I read the reviews before walking in the door. My husband and I ordered an ice cream to split. The employee charged us for a size larger than we ordered. I asked for a cup of water and was told that water is for employees only. This is one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard. I do agree with the majority of the reviews about how it's pricey and the cafe is not very clean. There are about 10-12 flavors of scoop ice cream which I thought were just okay flavors with too much good coloring (the lemon looked highlighter yellow, etc.) I can't speak to the rolled ice cream, shakes, coffee, etc. but others in the cafe seemed to be enjoying them. I honestly just want to start out with a personal recommendation: please don't get any of the desserts behind the glass. It is obvious that they buy the sweets from another place and up charge them. It was so expensive. One of the things we got was the cheesecake and as soon as we took a bite, it started crumbling. From my personal experiences, cheesecake is supposed to be creamy, but what do I know... I walked up to the counter and told the girl working there that the cheesecake was very hard and not very good, and asked if we can exchange it for something else or if she could give us our money back. She said that she couldn't do anything because we took a bite out of it already. But someone please explain to me, how are you supposed to know whether something tastes good or bad without tasting it. Makes no sense to me. Any other restaurant or cafe will exchange the item or at least give you your money back. Very disappointed. read more
