Jewel box of a very special and unique chocolate candy establishment ('shop' seemed inadequate)! Though small, a very relaxing and pretty environment to browse the beautiful handmade/crafted chocolates artfully displayed in cases resembling ornate birdcages, and prepackaged artful chocolates displayed on trays on a table. Floor is fake grass adding to a garden ambiance. Shopkeeper very helpful and came from behind the display to explain the background of these chocolates. Sorry, no free samples! Witty, beautiful, detail-oriented designed chocolates. I purchased a few of them to try based on the helpful description of each one typed out adjacent to each chocolate. I purchased with full knowledge of the $3.50 average price point of the each piece of chocolate. But the visual joy these chocolates provide, painstakingly handmade with the highest detail, not to mention their amazing taste warrant these prices. Even just one for a treat will suffice as each chocolate is filled with quality flavor and taste, just as the descriptions state. Located on the main shopping street in Charleston, SC, King Street, south of most major retail shops and seemingly appropriately located adjacent to many art galleries. I walked here so unable to give information on parking though it seems side streets will have some. I think there may be parking structures around, too. This shop provided such a special experience that I had to put that chocolate down and share this moment!

What a super cool chocolate shop! Loved the passion fruit and hazelnut chocolates, also tried the red velvet. The design inside was very cute and looked like a garden and there was fun music going. There is no place to sit just a heads up.

If you go to 167 Raw, chances are you'll be waiting as that place is OUTSTANDING and has a long wait to get in.  So, walk across the street and check out the chocolates at this place while you wait!  We did and ended up picking up a huge selection to bring home for family and friends. They have some of the most ornate pieces of chocolate candy, truffles, etc.  in unique flavors too.  They said they make everything fresh, from scratch,  including the peanut butter in their peanut butter cups. The lady working when we went was very helpful and friendly as well and because if was hot out, she gave us a frozen ice pack to help ensure our chocolate made if back to the hotel.

This place brings chocolate to a whole new level. This is ART. Each chocolate is about $3-$4. It's a super green and Victorian looking little place where you pick up a tray with tongs and pick your truffles. They are so intricately designed and taste very good too. I highly recommend treating yourself to some or gifting them!

Chocolat By Adam Turoni Partners on King Street in Charleston is a great place to go for quality artisan chocolates. I really like the selection of different items that they have available here and everything that they have to offer here. I have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here and they have made excellent gift items.

What a surprise!!! We found this chocolatier on a quick visit just walking Charleston. In love with their chocolates. Go for the big box or special container. The flavors are amazing.

Sweeteeth Chocolate makess high-quality chocolates and bon bons with unique flavor pairings. All of their products are made by hand and do not contain any preservatives. Sweeteeth was started by John Eric Battles, an Alabama native who previously worked at EVO Pizzeria here in Charleston. While working at EVO, "Johnny" created these treats that quickly spread through Charleston and can now be found all around the country. Their best bar is the Sea is for Caramel: 62% dark chocolate, smooth caramel, and sprinkled with sea salt. It's incredible to say the least. Don't even look at the price tag -- it's worth every hard-earned penny. I also really like the Cinnapsis: milk chocolate with chewy cinnamon apple bits and crunchy, candied pecans. Each bite of this bar is different, depending on how much apple or candied nut is in your bite. The PB&C bar (peanut butter with smoky chipotle pepper) is different. The peanut butter tastes very natural but the smokiness throws you off. Get your paws on a Sea is for Caramel bar. Immediately.

It was love at first taste, thanks to the Indie Craft Experience in Atlanta. I left that day with a salted caramel dark chocolate bar in hand, but knew that I needed more. Santa to the rescue! He brought me the chocolate sampler pack, a bunch of salted caramel dark chocolate bars, and salted caramel sauces. I mean, I have been OD'ing on chocolate and caramel for months now. But I've been good this year, and I've been sharing my chocolate with co-workers. Everyone loves this stuff-- it's like crack drips out of the salted caramel bar or something. I don't know what it is, but it's magical. Do yourself or someone else a favor and order some Sweeteeth. Or at least go to their website and admire the pictures of their chocolate bars.

Iced coffee was refreshing I came back the next morning for another round. It was flavorful yet not sugary. It definitely gave me a kick and got addicted to it, except I'm only in the area for 4 days. Staff and manager were friendly yet professional. Although I was charged twice, the manager assured me they would fix it once the line was manageable. Somehow I trusted her word for it, just the manner with which she handled it was text book! Indeed, saw the overcharged taken care of by the next day. A must stop in downtown historic Charleston for sure! Great awesome pastries, sandwiches Parisian style made and clean refreshing breakfast beverages. Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately but it was very close quarters with surrounding tables. The menu is vast with different dessert options. If you want to know what cakes are available, you should check out the display stand right when you enter. Since we were there 2.5 hours before closing, there didn't seem to be a lot of cake options available, but my husband and I decided to share a slice of the s'mores cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to make it à la mode. The s'mores cake was a chocolate cake with mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, graham crackers, and more marshmallows. The cake was good and had everything I could ever want in it, but it was a little dry. I think this also had to do with it being the end of the night. The ice cream complemented the flavor well. It would have been better with a second scoop of ice cream though. Service was great! It took about 10 minutes from when we ordered to get our dessert. I would probably come back here again, but not so late at night so there would be fresher cake with more options available.

We waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be acknowledged while two employees stood nearby. The two layer chocolate caramel pecan cake, which our waitress initially could not find, was dry and tasted stale. I would not order it again. The Tollhouse pie was a bit better, but the presentation and the whipped cream were the standouts, and the whipped cream wasn't even homemade! That's the best thing I could say about our experience. The food, pricing, service, and ambiance all fell below average. When you are located downtown with so many great dessert options around, you really need to step up your game. We will not be returning.

I like that when you start to tell them what you want they have a cake plate that they put your items on and then they'll box it up at the end. It just had a really special feel to the service of how they treat you there. Now let's get into the sweet treats. I bought a chocolate chip cookie, a oatmeal raisin cookie and a ginger molasses cookie. They were all delicious, but that oatmeal raisin cookie was amazing. I also got too many cupcakes. I did the vanilla blueberry and the honey. Both were very good. And I got a pecan brownie. I loved the pecan brownie! My only problem with the brownie is that it's so small. I would love for them to make them bigger for the price, but absolutely delicious. I love that none of the sweets tasted too sweet. They were perfectly balanced. I recommend checking out the spot.
