Just a wonderful shop with friendly service and yummy treats. Walking in is a delight! Picked up key lime and caramel pecan tarts.

The chocolate bar is my favorite. I had a gift card from a friend to try it otherwise I don't know that I would have at $9 for a chocolate bar, but it was excellent. Super cute packaging too, would go great in a Charleston themed gift basket. The macaroons are okay, maybe just not my thing... they just don't wow me. The chocolates are fun to pick and choose from and the different flavors are interesting!

This is our favorite place to stop for delectable handmade chocolates and pastries! We feel like it's a local escape to a European bakery. We always enjoy a French press and a pastry at a bistro table outside, then we get a nice variety of chocolates for the week and head home. There's flavors for everyone! He makes beautiful creations out of chocolate that are really too beautiful to eat but would make a spectacular gift; right now near Halloween there are skulls, haunted houses, ghosts and pumpkins, as well as the regulars; beautiful turtles, high heels, alligators, the Eiffel Tower, and so on. If you like chocolate or pastries, this is the place to go!

Having been to their location downtown, I decided to check out this one in West Ashley. The selection of desserts is the same. As always, everything looked delicious. I had to knock off a couple stars though because I felt rushed by the sales clerk (Carly). She did not make me feel comfortable being there as her demeanor was curt.

I went to this adorable shop because in November I read food themed books so I take pictures of my books with places that correlate with the book. This shop is simply adorable! A lot of beautiful sweets. My daughter and I got beautiful desserts. I got a lemon pineapple thing and it was good but it could have used a bit more sweetness. We also got some macarons and they didn't taste right to me. The texture wasn't chewy like I'm used too (I've actually had French macarons in France before). The macarons were crispy/crunchy. I got my husband a pan au chocolate and he said it was decent, as well as the chocolate cake I got him. I tried that and it was okay. I am willing to try this place again because I have a major sweet tooth. Maybe I'll go for the actual chocolates next time.

Everything is so cute and adorable! My husband and I had to try a bunch of things from pastries to chocolate and macrons. Loved everything except the chocolate croissant. That has to be eaten fresh and we got there at 4 pm so it was probably made hours before. The one chocolate I had to try was the blue cheese and it was as expected! So strange but good! I accidentally gave my 20 month old a bite of the blue cheese one. Well that immediately made her stop grabbing our chocolate truffles. I guess a win win for my husband and I to enjoy the rest of the chocolates in peace. The shop is very small so the only seating area is outside and there are only three tables with two seats. Not the best location to sit and have a bite to eat when it's cold. Everything else was good and we will have to be back to try everything else!

One of my frequent visits. Another level of enjoyment of sweets! Their hot chocolate tastes also nice as well as cakes and pastries.

What a surprise to find a European style shop outside of downtown. The macaroons were wonderful and the truffles were magnificent.

Sweeteeth Chocolate makess high-quality chocolates and bon bons with unique flavor pairings. All of their products are made by hand and do not contain any preservatives. Sweeteeth was started by John Eric Battles, an Alabama native who previously worked at EVO Pizzeria here in Charleston. While working at EVO, "Johnny" created these treats that quickly spread through Charleston and can now be found all around the country. Their best bar is the Sea is for Caramel: 62% dark chocolate, smooth caramel, and sprinkled with sea salt. It's incredible to say the least. Don't even look at the price tag -- it's worth every hard-earned penny. I also really like the Cinnapsis: milk chocolate with chewy cinnamon apple bits and crunchy, candied pecans. Each bite of this bar is different, depending on how much apple or candied nut is in your bite. The PB&C bar (peanut butter with smoky chipotle pepper) is different. The peanut butter tastes very natural but the smokiness throws you off. Get your paws on a Sea is for Caramel bar. Immediately.

It was love at first taste, thanks to the Indie Craft Experience in Atlanta. I left that day with a salted caramel dark chocolate bar in hand, but knew that I needed more. Santa to the rescue! He brought me the chocolate sampler pack, a bunch of salted caramel dark chocolate bars, and salted caramel sauces. I mean, I have been OD'ing on chocolate and caramel for months now. But I've been good this year, and I've been sharing my chocolate with co-workers. Everyone loves this stuff-- it's like crack drips out of the salted caramel bar or something. I don't know what it is, but it's magical. Do yourself or someone else a favor and order some Sweeteeth. Or at least go to their website and admire the pictures of their chocolate bars.

Iced coffee was refreshing I came back the next morning for another round. It was flavorful yet not sugary. It definitely gave me a kick and got addicted to it, except I'm only in the area for 4 days. Staff and manager were friendly yet professional. Although I was charged twice, the manager assured me they would fix it once the line was manageable. Somehow I trusted her word for it, just the manner with which she handled it was text book! Indeed, saw the overcharged taken care of by the next day. A must stop in downtown historic Charleston for sure! The pastry case was full and beautiful with savory and sweet options. There's a fair amount of indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. I ordered a hazelnut latte which was bold and delicious. Despite saying I was dining in, it was served in a to go cup - I do wish I received it in a cup/mug. I also tried the almond croissant which was flaky and not overly sweet. The croque monsieur was indulgent and cheesy - although, I wish it was slightly hotter when served. The portion of everything matched the price.

Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately but it was very close quarters with surrounding tables. The menu is vast with different dessert options. If you want to know what cakes are available, you should check out the display stand right when you enter. Since we were there 2.5 hours before closing, there didn't seem to be a lot of cake options available, but my husband and I decided to share a slice of the s'mores cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to make it à la mode. The s'mores cake was a chocolate cake with mini marshmallows, chocolate fudge, graham crackers, and more marshmallows. The cake was good and had everything I could ever want in it, but it was a little dry. I think this also had to do with it being the end of the night. The ice cream complemented the flavor well. It would have been better with a second scoop of ice cream though. Service was great! It took about 10 minutes from when we ordered to get our dessert. We waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be acknowledged while two employees stood nearby. The two layer chocolate caramel pecan cake, which our waitress initially could not find, was dry and tasted stale. That's the best thing I could say about our experience. The food, pricing, service, and ambiance all fell below average. When you are located downtown with so many great dessert options around, you really need to step up your game. We will not be returning.
