Just a wonderful shop with friendly service and yummy treats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in is a delight![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Picked up key lime and caramel pecan tarts.

The chocolate bar is my favorite. I had a gift card from a friend to try it otherwise I don't know that I would have at $9 for a chocolate bar, but it was excellent. Super cute packaging too, would go great in a Charleston themed gift basket. The macaroons are okay, maybe just not my thing... they just don't wow me. The chocolates are fun to pick and choose from and the different flavors are interesting!

Having been to their location downtown, I decided to check out this one in West Ashley. The selection of desserts is the same. As always, everything looked delicious. I had to knock off a couple stars though because I felt rushed by the sales clerk (Carly). She did not make me feel comfortable being there as her demeanor was curt.

This is our favorite place to stop for delectable handmade chocolates and pastries! We feel like it's a local escape to a European bakery. We always enjoy a French press and a pastry at a bistro table outside, then we get a nice variety of chocolates for the week and head home. There's flavors for everyone! He makes beautiful creations out of chocolate that are really too beautiful to eat but would make a spectacular gift; right now near Halloween there are skulls, haunted houses, ghosts and pumpkins, as well as the regulars; beautiful turtles, high heels, alligators, the Eiffel Tower, and so on. If you like chocolate or pastries, this is the place to go!

I went to this adorable shop because in November I read food themed books so I take pictures of my books with places that correlate with the book. This shop is simply adorable! A lot of beautiful sweets. My daughter and I got beautiful desserts. I got a lemon pineapple thing and it was good but it could have used a bit more sweetness. We also got some macarons and they didn't taste right to me. The texture wasn't chewy like I'm used too (I've actually had French macarons in France before). The macarons were crispy/crunchy. I got my husband a pan au chocolate and he said it was decent, as well as the chocolate cake I got him. I tried that and it was okay. I am willing to try this place again because I have a major sweet tooth. Maybe I'll go for the actual chocolates next time.

Everything is so cute and adorable! My husband and I had to try a bunch of things from pastries to chocolate and macrons. Loved everything except the chocolate croissant. That has to be eaten fresh and we got there at 4 pm so it was probably made hours before. The one chocolate I had to try was the blue cheese and it was as expected! So strange but good! I accidentally gave my 20 month old a bite of the blue cheese one. Well that immediately made her stop grabbing our chocolate truffles. I guess a win win for my husband and I to enjoy the rest of the chocolates in peace. The shop is very small so the only seating area is outside and there are only three tables with two seats. Not the best location to sit and have a bite to eat when it's cold. Everything else was good and we will have to be back to try everything else!

What a surprise to find a European style shop outside of downtown. The macaroons were wonderful and the truffles were magnificent.

It definitely gave me a kick and got addicted to it, except I'm only in the area for 4 days. Staff and manager were friendly yet professional. Although I was charged twice, the manager assured me they would fix it once the line was manageable. Somehow I trusted her word for it, just the manner with which she handled it was text book! Indeed, saw the overcharged taken care of by the next day. A must stop in downtown historic Charleston for sure! Great awesome pastries, sandwiches Parisian style made and clean refreshing breakfast beverages. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. We arrived for dinner with our 2-year-old. The tone was set immediately by our server, who was visibly annoyed when I didn't respond to his greeting fast enough because I was tending to my toddler. Rather than reading the situation with any empathy, he sharply said "Hi, miss" in a way that made it clear he expected immediate attention. Not a great start. Things only went downhill from there. My husband had to briefly step away to take a work call, and instead of accommodating the situation in any reasonable way, the server dropped water and bluntly said he'd return "when your husband is back"--effectively refusing to engage with me at all. Trying to make the best of it, I decided to feed my child first. After waiting quite a while with no assistance, I had to flag someone down--who turned out to be the manager. What followed was honestly the most appalling part of the evening. I asked if they could simply warm up my child's food. Not only did she refuse, she told me I could not feed my child in the restaurant. No alternatives offered. No attempt at accommodation. No offer for a kid friendly food item, or no offer to feed her in the hotel lobby. Her "solution" was that I should leave the restaurant and go find some outdoor space nearby to feed my toddler. To make matters worse, she added that "service will start at 6:15 sharp," essentially implying I should figure it out and be back on their timeline. The complete lack of empathy, flexibility, or basic hospitality was astonishing. I have never encountered such dismissive and hostile behavior toward a family with a young child--especially at a supposedly high-end establishment. Mind you we have been to plenty of restaurants including 3 Michelin stars. If you're dining with a child--or frankly, if you expect to be treated with basic respect--I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.
