Customer Service Very friendly staff explained their process, apparently it is a chain. Rate 5 Ambiance There really isn't any. They have very inexpensive tables and chairs, looks like they got them at Big Lots or something. I would step it u a bit. The eating area needs some color. Rate 3 Crepe with banana and Nutella This was crafted with pride. I was informed the crepe is made fresh. The Nutella is beautifully applied. The topper it is packaged nicely, get it to go and impress someone u love. Oh I forgot, it was so delicious. Rate 5 Value Your base pastry is $5 but by the time u do the add ons, u could easily be at $15. I feel it is a tad pricey. Rate 4 Will return for Turkish coffee, I love Turkish coffee. read more

Daughter wasn't feeling well last week so after attending my sons baseball game we stopped by to get some Dubai strawberries in a cup. After watching staff for about 10 minutes making cups for DoorDash orders we ordered 2 cups, we were told they were out of cups we had to order something else (we just witnessed you making them) so we went home empty handed. Felt bad for my daughter so I ended up door dashing an order and ended up getting 2 Dubai strawberry cups .... Why couldn't they have used these same cups when we were just there in person? Located in a pretty new plaza in Delta Shores, Chocolate Bash offers a unique selection of desserts. They serve all forms of crepes, waffles, and pancakes, which can be fully customized. I ordered the Crepe with the Belgian Milk Chocolate, topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My total was around $13, so it is a tad bit pricy, but food nowadays is pricy regardless. The crepe is made fresh to order, so it was super soft, warm, and velvety (even when I took it to-go) + the chocolate and ice cream amped up the crepe. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the interior has plenty of seating. Great local spot to try for your sweet tooth! read more

This place was super cute. They had a variety of different chocolates that were made in the store. They made their viral Dubai, chocolate covers strawberries, right in front of me, Family, Own Business, super Cute, a little pricey, but definitely worth it. I will definitely come back for a treat for sure. I believe it was a Mom , and pop or family owned business, and they were very nice and very helpful and very sweet. Great service. read more

It cost $12 for 10 mini pancakes ($4.99) with Belgian chocolate ($4.99; comes with the white and dark chocolate drizzle) and strawberries ($1.99). The strawberries weren't totally necessary, but they did help balance out the sweetness of the chocolate. I don't think it was worth $12, but I saw a pic and had to try it. Note: don't wait too long to eat it because the chocolate hardens and makes it difficult to eat (and chocolate sticks to container instead of food). I also go a sprite drink that has red bull and a flavor added for $3.99. I got strawberry and it was good, but like half ice so also not a great value.. Location is kinda hidden. It's over by the sandwich spot by RC Willy (past Walmart). Inside is small with like 4-5 small, 2-person tables against the wall. You order at the counter. Not much room to wait for your order, especially if the tables are occupied. Plenty of room outside, so hopefully they can add some outdoor seating. It's worth a try, but not sure how often I would come back. I would definitely have to be craving it.. You obviously should like chocolate to come here, although you don't have to get chocolate as they do have other options. read more

Plus their strawberry chocolate Dubai cups are also overwhelmed with chocolate. I tried to give those another chance because I really wanted to taste the pistachio cream. The food wasn't bad, overpriced yes for sure but not bad. The place was clean nice overall vibe. The two young girls working on New Year's Eve around 9:00 pm were extremely unprofessional and annoying. They kept laughing and giggling when it was taking over 30 mins to complete orders. One of the girls was touching her hair with the same gloves she was handling food with as well. The two employees were louder than everyone else in the store . According to Yelp and Google, this place opens at 12:00pm. I got to the place at 11:58am and parked and waited. 12:10pm comes and the place was still closed. I called them 3 times and no one answered. I also tried opening the door and it was locked. When my friend got there, we decided to drive around Delta Shore and check out the place if they would open. I thought they were closed that day but according to the internet they were opened. 12:22pm comes and I decided to call again. A man answered and I asked him for their hours of operation and he said "12:00pm-10:00pm". I didn't tell him we have been waiting for almost 30 ministers, we just decided to head over there again. When we got there, he explained the menu. My friend got the waffle and I got the sushi crepe. Everything was customizable. For my sushi crepe, I asked for bueno chocolate, Belgium chocolate and cheesecake topping. It was a pretty good sushi crepe but the cheesecake wasn't too good. The flavor wasn't cheesecake like. Thankfully, I really like bueno kinder chocolate so I did enjoy my sushi crepe. I wasn't able to finish it as the chocolate makes your mouth really dry. My friend enjoyed her cookie butter waffle. I tried it and it was pretty good, it wasn't as overwhelming like the one I ordered. We also ordered an iced vanilla latte. The size was good and the sweetness was good enough for me. It is a place where you order then you sit yourself. They have a few tables but it's definitely not a place to have "brunch" in. After you finish your food, you clean after yourself where you can throw everything in the trash can. I think the place was cute and the concept was good. It was just unfortunate that they advertise a specific time but they do not open on time. Will definitely check it out again to have a better experience. read more

We asked her what was popular, and she recommended we created our own crepe. She helped us with our order and we got a crepe with three types of chocolate and topped with knafeh. The crepe was beautifully presented and even though it was topped with three types of chocolates, it wasn't overly sweet. It was a rainy night and my girlfriend told me she wanted something sweet, so I just went ahead and looked for a place that sounded like she would be craving, and luckily she was craving a milkshake and even more lucky that chocolate bash is just a couple minutes down the street. So we got there about an hour before they closed and they were packed, even if it was cold. Their milkshakes are real good and the staff is real friendly. This place is such a treasure and I'm for sure coming back! There aren't many places that are open past 7 pm in Elk Grove haha. I'm so glad I came here tonight. The cream puffs were delicious and had a lot of filling! We also got the vanilla latte and the black coffee. We give the latte a 7.5, but the black coffee was a 10/10! Overall with the couple items tried, it was good. Service was good... Concept is unique for the area. Speaking of area, the location is one of its drawbacks. It does deserve a more prominent location that lends itself to more foot traffic. Its current location hides its potential and makes it difficult to spontaneously discover what you may feel is a hidden gem. Now, let's simply talk about why I just couldn't give 5 stars... I firmly believe that price has pushed this out of a regular go to location. BUT, special events and such may have me stopping by on occasion. Although unique, a quick glance at the menu reveals higher than expected prices for OTC products... please correct me if I am wrong. What is actually made from scratch?
