Whether you want coffee, latte's, snacks or something more, you will find it at Sana'a. I heard about their Pistachio coffee so had to go try it. We tried both variations - the coffee and the latte. The iced pistachio latte was sweet (perfect for me). The pistachio coffee was not as sweet. I went for round two and asked for a recommendation and ordered the iced biscoff latte. It was also satisfying. We arrived in the middle of Egypt playing Australia in the World Cup and the place was electric with Egyptian fans - and Egypt pulled out the victory in the penalty shootout. Definitely exciting. The owner was passing around free fruity smoothies to everyone - and it was delicious. I will be going back to try the specialty coffees like the Iced Sana'a Latte, the Iced Yemeni Latte, the White Mocha Latte and snacks. Been to this place twice to give them a fair analysis on how everything is. I think this place is overrated. First off, the wait to get a drink is far too long. I get that it was a little busy but the workers had no sense of urgency when making the drinks. They were working like they just woke up and are just preparing something for themselves. Drinks/food are tasty but the prices are ridiculous. My daughter wanted the potato bread and I was surprised to see it ring up as 6 bucks. Its a very small piece of bread. You can finish it in two bites. I get things are more expensive now but Im fairly certain the cafe is a bit greedy for profit. I dont usually care if the person who took my order is friendly or not but its worth mentioning that the person taking my order lacked a soul. The inside of this cafe is gorgeous! I love the ambiance and decorations. They have single tables and offer foot rests. The cafe is very large and seating was very comfortable. They have a section in the back but it's only available to larger study groups/parties. I ordered the iced pistachio latte and it was delicious! I thought it was a nice place to study, but a bit on the noisier side with volume of music so I would recommend noise cancelling headphones if you do plan to study here. They do offer wifi, but the connection wasn't very stable for me so I was mainly using my hotspot. I think this is a great spot to grab coffee and catch up with friends! read more

The Sana'a latte was enjoyable, though I'm not much of a coffee enthusiast, so I can't speak too much on how it compares to other coffee drinks. The kataifi was by far the sweetest item we tried and ended up being our least favorite. It was quite hard, and while the person at the counter mentioned that it was almost the same as kunafeh, we didn't find that to be the case. I can see the inspiration behind it, but the texture and overall experience were pretty different. As for the milk cakes, they all share a very similar base flavor. The main difference comes from the toppings rather than the cake itself. The Biscoff and Dubai chocolate milk cakes were both excellent and probably the best items we ordered. I stuck with my traditional Turkish coffee which was delicious. I share my Turkish coffee and got someone else hooked on it. I also got the honeycomb bread. When they first opened I was a fan and saw myself coming back often but recently I've been disappointed. I love desserts so I always get something from the case but the flavor has continuously gotten that old fridge stale flavor infused into the dessert. It might depend on what you get and what flavors because I've had the biscoff flavor milk cake which was stronger in flavor so it might have masked that stale taste but I had the kunafa which was terrible because it absorbed so much of the fridge flavor I had to toss it out. I love the variety the case always has but it might be messing up how some products sit and taste. The drinks however haven't disappointed. I've been to the Downtown Sac location, and this one in Elk Grove is pretty much a duplicate; I believe they must be a franchise since the interior is the same as the other location in Sac. It was incredible it was perfectly sweet and balanced and the coffee itself tasted amazing. Youre really getting a quality craft coffee here. This is easily one of the best coffee shops in the Elk Grove area. Their prices are reasonable, and the coffee always tastes amazing. My go-to drinks are usually the Vanilla Latte or the Iced Mocha. I've been coming here weekly for a few months now to study and work on projects. No matter what time you visit, this place is always packed. The only time it might be a little quieter is early in the morning, but every time I walk in, it's jammed. You'll see a mix of everyone: people working solo on laptops, friends and family hanging out, and study groups. The layout is really well thought out. When you walk in, there are luxurious, comfortable couches with throw pillows on the left, complete with outlets behind them, making it easy to settle in all day. On the far right, there's a long counter with high chairs along the wall, and the middle section has tables that seat two to four people. They also have a large table in the back for bigger groups, which is softly partitioned off with a divider. On top of that, the bathrooms are always clean and completely odorless, and the lighting throughout the shop is great. To top it all off, the location is incredibly convenient. An amazing cafe to enjoy some delicious drinks and snacks. About a 15 tables, diner style seating against the wall, along with a private party seating area. Lots of people and families enjoying one another or working on laptops. Staff wasn't very interactive but no Complaints. They did their job and answered my question if the refreshers had caffeine. Btw, no they don't. Service was quick, waited about 7 minutes for 3 drinks and 3 food items. I love that the buzzers are loud to not miss your food being ready. Ambiance was nice with decor and music taking you to the middle eastern. Biscoff latte - 8/10 lacked biscoff flavor but still very tasty while not being super sweet Mango passion fruit refresher- 10/10 very yummy if you want a fruity drink. Very sweet. Pistachio cheesecake- 8/10 a slice of cheesecake with pistachio crumbs on top. Not too sweet. Honeycomb 9/10 tasty snack that paired well with my latte. A sweet bread with cream cheese filling, topped with honey drizzle and sesame seeds. Pistachio milk cake 6/10 gives tres leche vibes but lacked flavor. I was expecting for the artificial pistachio flavor in food items but not at all. A place you guys must try for yourself. read more
