It's been a while since I've been here, but I've had positive experiences since my last review. For one, they saved our boba bar for my wedding. We had intended to order fruit tea from another local boba shop that is no longer in business, but they weren't able to accommodate. However, Tastea saved the day and made Peach Me Sweetea and it was a hit. I know that I can rely on Tastea for a good fruit tea, so there have been many times I would come here to just get their Peach Me Sweetea. I've come here for a Yelp event too, to try out some new items, like funnel cake fries, which were very interesting and not bad actually! This latest time I got their large Buttload A Fries and it was such good value and it really was a lot of fries. Their fries are also so crispy and crunchy--very addictive, craveable. Service is always nice here and their shop is generally very clean. Overall, I highly recommend! read more

Stopped in to Tastea at Delta Shores for the first time, just to get a classic Brown Suar Milk Tea w/Boba. I saw that they said a "Tiger" Milk tea, which is famously named since the brown super is added to gives the appearance of stripes inside of your cup. Seemed simple enough, thinking nothing of it and young girl who was very helpful. Asked if I was a medium or large, and then pointed at a 20 ounce and 32 ounce option. 32 ounces is honestly the largest size Boba I've ever seen but I opted for the 20oz instead. Should have read what their Tiger Tea version was more clearly, as I didn't expect their to be custard in my drink. A Tiger Milk Tea, is a fancy name/spin for a brown sugar milk tea, because of the "stripes" which I'm very familiar with. So I didn'texpect extra stuff ai wouldn'tnormally have, but if I had known. I would've just opted not to get it, or maybe have just asked for a simple brown sugar milk tea option. Overall: The drink wasn't bad; I definitely had to get used to the custard in my drink. If you used to ask for no ice, no top off, they would fill it up to that higher line. But now they fill it one inch lower. They have also started charging for top off. Before, sometimes we would select top off and they would just fill it up with water. So hopefully with the new charge, it will be with tea instead of water. Additionally, they messed up our drinks. We asked for light or no sweet and all three drinks were super sweet. We used to come here every time we were in town, but because of these changes, we will go to other boba spots. read more

Tastea is still one of my top 3 boba spots in town. I decided to try something new and went with the Ooh La La. There's a perfect balance between the coconut pineapple and strawberry. I went with medium sweetness and it was perfect. I like that they use fresh ingredients and the strawberry bits put the drink over the top. I love that they provide free WiFi because my mobile service is horrible here. The staff was friendly and they helped me decide on the drink. Coming back for sure. read more

Honestly underrated boba spot, more people need to come here!! Great sweet treat to get before you shop at all the store in the same area. My go to is the peach me sweet tea with stevia!! I got the Peachme Sweetea with zero sugar and added boba and it's honestly the perfect dessert after AYCE. It's a refreshing chug jug of fruit tea and soft toppings of fruit bits and their chewy green boba, so I always make it a goal to stop here when I visit Sacramento. read more

In my visit, I decided to order the Funnel Stix with a side of Condensed Milk. The Funnel Stix were super light and airy. It was paired deliciously well with the Condensed Milk. The treat wasn't overly sweet, and it was tasty! The shop's interior was spacious and clean. The staff members were pleasant. The order came out in a decent time. Great service! Love the cute vibe! I'm not a fan of the stools but I'm older! They have a regular for sure! The Earl Grey is my favorite! I bought a second one with almond milk that one was not as good as the regular one. I'm not a huge fan of blueberry drinks but tried one and it was good. So cute & festive inside for the holidays! Went here again last night for their Yelp Elite event. I ordered additional food that was not included in the event so I am doing a quick review here. The Oreo Funnel Stix were great. I like the original funnel stix better though. It's basically fried mochi in a french fry form factor, lol. I will probably get this from now on if they keep it on their menu. Their "karate chicken" is really good also. I got spice level 2 out of 5 because I was sharing with kids. It had a decent kick but I am getting 5 out of 5 next time, lol. Stopped by Tastea for a boba and ordered the Lychee Freeze. It was refreshing and delicious! It had big chunks of lychee fruit and lychee jelly, and the sweetness was perfect without needing any adjustments. Maybe it was the time I went, but the interior wasn't the most inviting place to sit and hangout too long. It was more of a grab and go atmosphere. Fast, convenient and clean. It's a delicious stop for after a movie or shopping trip! I've gone a couple times now and they have all been good experiences. Service was kind and super friendly, they let me know the times things would take and were on it! This time I tried the peach sweet tea with boba and it was holiday themed!! The green boba was so fun! Chunks of fruit was a welcomed surprise too. For only $6.25 not bad price at all. Huge space so there is plenty of parking even if you have to walk a lil. I remembered liking their Ooh La La so I came here to grab it again since I was in Delta Shores. They were not too busy. Only couple tables were occupied and 1 person in line to order. I ordered Oh La La and Chillin' Mocha. Both with medium sweetness. Even with medium sweetness, both drinks were still super sweet. I will have to ask for the least amount of sweetness next time. Probably our favorite boba/tea place at the moment, thanks to our recent Yelp Elite event that brought us in. We went back again a few days ago and the drinks were great, though we'll probably get the smaller sized cups in the figure since the large ones are HUGE and were a bit challenging in our car's drink holder. But definitely a good size to get if you're super thirsty or need something to last all day. Lots of great menu items. Love the fruit bits in many of them, and the ability to customize the sweetness and ice levels. We got most of ours at 50% sweetness but they still seemed a bit too sweet so we might tone it down to 75% in the future. Great place to get your boba/tea fixes. Glad we don't live too close to this place or it would be very dangerous for us. But nice for a treat occasionally. Close to the I-5 freeway too! :) Download their app for free drinks. read more

I've been to Tastea in Delta Shores a couple of times before. Most recently, I stopped by on a Friday evening. Customer service was friendly. Today, I ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea and customized the ice and sweetness. What's nice about here is they've always asked me about the sweetness level (so it wouldn't be possible for me to forget to adjust the sweetness). The drink was good, but it lacks flavor compared to some of their other drinks. A couple of my favorite drinks are the Avocado Avalanche and Matcha Strawberry. Currently, they're all decorated for the holidays - they even have a tree. Very cute and festive. They even have red and green honey boba! (Although I'm not too excited about the red dye that likely goes into making it that color...) I love having this boba place conveniently located right off the freeway. read more

Very good boba and snack spot! Their drinks have great quality, boba is always soft and chewy. My favorite is the wintermelon milk tea because it comes non caffeinated. Their drinks can be pretty sweet, so I stick to 75% sweetness. The cashiers are always pretty nice and they quickly get your drink and food out. I love their calamari, the way they prepare it is the best way to have it. The shop is conveniently located next to the theater, couple of restaurants (to get your sweet treat after), and shopping stores. read more

I love Tastea! I always think about it whenever I go to Delta Shores. The staff is friendly and drinks are efficiently made with care. My favorite drinks are the Bootea Shaker, Passion Attraction, and their matcha milk tea. I usually ask for light ice and medium sweetness because full sweetness is too sweet. The names for some of their special tea drinks are so funny and cute! The inside of the store is clean, smells good, and has plenty of seating. They also have a few outdoor tables. I like the cup designs with their play on words and how they offer 32 oz drinks for those who want more! Also, there are times when they come out with new drinks and offer small 7oz drink samples, which is perfect for taste testing. Thanks to the Yelp Elite Event, I may have found my new favorite spot for teas & drinks! This is such a cute little hangout spot in the midst of Delta Shores eateries. I never really noticed it because it's tucked in the back near the movie theaters. Their menu is quite large and I wanted to sample everything ! I ended up getting the Vietnamese coffee and Matcha Thai Tea. Both of them taste amazing, however, I would ask for a bit more milk in the coffee next time I go. The coffee is bold and will kick start your engine! I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks and food. read more

What a great drink place in the Delta Shores mall! That about sums it up before I even get into the review itself. Upon entering the store, the employee greeted us right away with a smile. So many cool drinks to choose from. They had a lot of varieties of milk teas, smoothies, coffees, slushy freezes, and iced tea drinks with so many available add-ons and customizations. I am sure that you can find something to tickle your fancy. In addition to hot and cold beverages, they also serve food, like the Jujutsu Rice Bowl, Buttload'a Fries, Calamari, Karate Chicken, and Cap'n Shrimpie. For my visit today, I got the Strawberry sensation that is a strawberry smoothie with strawberry bits with half the amount of sugar. This was such a refreshingly yummy drink. The small bits of strawberries added to the flavor explosion and was just perfect. So many options, but I can only have one drink per visit or I would get myself into trouble with too much sugar. This was my first visit and definitely would not be my last visit. I am so happy to support a local establishment that just gets everything right. read more

Very yummy fruit teas! I find that this spot has better and more consistent fruit teas than milks teas with reasonable prices. The menu seems small, but has a lot of different types of drinks like ones with energy or smoothies, so there is something for everyone instead of just different variants of teas! The passion attraction was very delicious with a nice tea flavor. I tried my friend's ooh la la and thought it was also yummy. Definitely perfect for a true coconut lover, but I would recommend reducing the sugar a bit (even if you usually don't), since 100% sweetness tasted like a coconut jelly bean! I came into the area to shop at Walmart and then ended my shopping time here at Tastea. I ordered their Lychee Peachee with Lychee Jelly, Lychee bits and Honey Boba in a 32 oz cup. Okay it was good and delicious but that cup was huge. If I were to return, I will not get that size because It was just so big. Also the toppings was a lot too. How generous they are! They are so generous. Who knows, maybe it was because the workers that worked there today did it this way. But I could be wrong. It might be just how they run their business. The place was desserted when I first walked in and the place was super clean. The worker was very patient when I had to put my order together. I have to say, it was very delicious. I saw they sell food or snacks too. Maybe next time I come in, Ill try their snacks. It's good to sign up for their rewards. I used my boyfriend's phone number to get a $2 rewards. Unfortunately, I really do not like giving reviews this low and am primarily doing this for visibility(this is my second one to date). I was disappointed today. I've eaten tastea's karate chicken throughout COVID-19 consistently and was sad to receive this considering how expensive the chicken is (typically $12). The service was completely fine but I think as a company it's important to think through whether this is food you would want to receive and considering that this is more pricey than the majority of the market I am fairly disappointed with the fact that there's no meat and this was around half of the portion. read more

What stands out about Tastea is they offer a huge 32 ounce cup. If you have a big craving and/or want to share, this amount will more than satisfy. Not too aesthetically focused, okay price for the amount you get. Basic boba but good basic. We got: -Mango Milk Tea 4/5 *32 oz *Medium sweet was a good choice for this drink because based on how this one tasted I imagine it could be too sugary should you get the full 100% sweet. Very milky with a clear mango flavor (kind of how I imagine if a mango ice cream were transformed into milk). Didn't really get any hint of tea coming through though so if that's what you're looking for this is not it. However, I still really liked this and how you can see bits of mango blended into it. Would get it again! -Taro Fantasy 4/5 *32 oz *One of the better taro drinks I've had from a boba shop! As in it did not obviously taste like flavored powder with a crap ton of additives. Was not extremely artificially dyed and had a pleasant, natural taro taste! I actually love fresh taro smoothies (I like the texture and taste, and yes, the taro chunks). Just based on the color & how smooth the texture of this drink was - in my experience, fresh taro drinks tend to be much lighter and almost white - they likely used dehydrated taro powder for this. Not complaining though because again, this one was actually made well! Creamy, good level of smoothie-thickness, and not teeth-hurtingly sweet despite me getting full 100% sweetness. -Fried tofu bites 4/5 *Had this with spicy seasoning (spicy upon request). Came out hot and juicy, surprisingly I enjoyed this more than the chicken! Their "spicy" isn't all that spicy. -Karate chicken 3/5 *Enjoyable side snack but nothing to really write home about. Mild was truly mild. I enjoyed the few Thai basil leaves they added but i would probably appreciate more (there were maybe 3 leaves?) Ambiance 3/5 -Very spacious and clean with decent amount of tables/seating available so you can stay and chill with friends. Outdoor seating also available. Green and orange walls give it a vibrant aesthetic. Service 3.5/5 -Quick, friendly, and accommodating! As mentioned before, the fried tofu has seasoning that usually doesn't come with the spice. Upon inquiring, the worker actually offered to make it spicy which was very nice! Was also informed that seasoning can be completely removed if requested. read more

Kiddos wanted boba and since I had a free drink card for Tastea, we came here. Inside is always clean and staff are always pleasant. Seating is kind of minimal so it's more a grab and go type of place for us. I love their tiger tea, it has a creme brûlée custard in it, I get it minus boba because I do not like it and full sweetness. It's a sugar rush for sure, but so good! My kids enjoy the strawberry sensation (I think that's what it's called) it's basically a strawberry smoothie but also very delicious. Overall, it's a pretty decent spot and I'm sure we'll return plenty more times. read more

Tastea has been one of my favorite Boba Chains. There drinks are consistent and they have a good variety. I like their coffee, matcha, and horchata drinks, and the fries are a must! Fresh cut fries. The only reason why I dock one star from my review is because of the service. The services is inconsistent. Sometimes they have great service and sometimes the service is bad. If the service remains consistent, than I would update my review and give them five stars. read more
