These fortune cookies are HUGE, HEAVY and DELICIOUS! The cookie itself is a sturdy, thick, CRUNCHY thing! It has to be solid enough, I guess, to hold all of that chocolate weight! It measures maybe 10 to 12 inches across. They dip the cookie in your chocolate of choice and decorate it with sprinkles, colored sugar or however you'd like. Ours was coated in dark chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle on ONE, and then a white chocolate coat with a dark chocolate drizzle on the other. I have used Chocolate Fortunes on two occasions now. Not for a bulk order but for their Baby Giant and Giant Fortune Cookies. I'm so glad I found CF because they're so sweet, and friendly, and Marty is very good about responding to emails quickly. I gift CF Cookies as gifts, and it's been a hit! I think they're so reasonably priced and unique, so it keeps me coming back. I love that they include a colored bow when wrapping your large cookies, so gift wrapping is already taken care of. I also do pay the extra for confetti sprinkles, because it's well worth it and the amount of colors they have is ridiculous - it can match any theme. Location: Chocolate Fortunes doesn't have a storefront, I think they do mostly deliveries but I have always gone to pick up. Not super difficult to find as long as you're looking at the google maps image (it's like an apartment building) but they do have a small parking lot that you can go into, for pickups that I have had no trouble with. So glad I found them: the last thing we need in LA is another cupcake shop. I found chocolate fortunes online during a search. I needed to order 250 customized (some chocolate dipped) fortune cookies for my 40th bday party as favors. Their prices were extremely reasonable and cheaper than competitors. Marty was extremely patient with me when I had many questions. Even after I made changes to my order twice! The order was placed and delivered as promised on the date he said. Very efficient. Found Chocolate Fortune by accident during a Google search for cake bakeries. Turned out it was a lucky find! It's a local business and I wanted party favors for my Mom's birthday. This would be perfect! Three or four cookies could be packed in small boxes for each guest. Not a storefront bakery. What it is is an excellent retail and restaurant supplier that also allows the public to order. As the name implies they produce chocolate fortune cookies. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, and more! No problem to have a fortune cookie dipped in two chocolates. Want sprinkles too? No problem. Special message instead of a fortune with lucky numbers? They can do that too. My guests loved the depth of flavor and smoothness of the chocolate. Even someone who thinks white chocolate is boring raved it was the first he liked. Next time I will try chocolate dipped almond cookies. This place sells chocolate covered fortune cookies that my fiance and I can give as favors for guests on our wedding day! Their online store is quite convenient 'cuz I can see exactly what types of fortune cookies they have. They don't have a store front, but a time can be arranged for pick-up at their address. There are different sizes to choose from...traditional-sized fortune cookies, or baby giant ones that are 4 inches big, or giant 8-inch ones. Different coating flavors are also available. We can personalize up to 3 different messages for $.30 extra per cookie. The more types of personalization, obviously though, the more it's gonna cost per cookie so it's better to stick to the basics which is $.50 each. Since these are for our wedding, we plan to personalize the message and individually wrap them. Total cost is $.90 each. The store is also open to dipping different coatings per batch of 100 cookies.
