They shrimp were not cooked. I was sick to my stomach. The gravy was blind and lumpy. The rice was extremely bland. Let me just tell you... this was our first time trying this restaurant and had reservations as every Chinese place we have tried is pretty much sub-par. We did take out, highly recommend calling them (prices on DoorDash are significantly elevated -although convenient.) This place was AMAZING!! I am hoping this wasn't just a lucky coincidence... the food was fresh... I'm telling you the beef fried rice was fresh had egg, carrots, peas, and onion , the amount of tender beef was off the charts and again you could tell it was fresh because the egg was still fluffy. General Tso's chicken was great and served over steamed broccoli, and Hunan beef was also terrific as it came with fresh veggies to include the little corn, water chestnuts, button mushrooms (that weren't brown and soggy), carrots, broccoli, and peppers . The food here is good, but the ambience is a little weird. I can't put my finger on it, but I think it would better serve a pizza restaurant. We went about 30 mins before they closed, so the place may have been picked up for closing time. The wait staff is super friendly, and the prices aren't bad. We ordered general chicken, some egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken. Definitely large portions, and like I said, it is pretty tasty. read more

They got my order wrong and the food was served at a nuclear hot temperature so I got to enjoy burning my mouth really well done. I ordered an egg drop soup but I got hot & sour soup instead. This joint is definitely focused mainly on being a carry out place and they only seem to offer a few tables and chairs that don't seem to get used much. Of course I decided to still try and eat inside but I still got everything served to me in carry out containers. Overall I think there are a LOT of better Chinese food joints in the area and I doubt I will be making a return visit here. read more

We ordered twice over the last month: 1st time: Pepper Steak Combo - 2 stars The beef seemed spongey, can't place the texture, the veggies were ok, the fried rice was AWFUL, made with dark soy. Hunan Chicken Combo - 2 stars Bland, weird chicken, same yucky fried rice. Egg Roll w each, not terrible, fresh fried, just overcooked. 2nd time: Boneless Chicken Combo - 1 star 3/4 Chicken breast, again, weird texture, we got white rice (the fried was awful in first visit), white rice is so over, it's a gummy mess. Also, only had 1 piece of broccoli, 1 piece of shaved carrot and 3 water chestnuts, came with sauce on the side (much appreciated), which was salty and not good, a terrible deal at 11 bucks. Egg Roll, overcooked again. Szechuan Beef Entree with white rice - 2 stars Lots of meat, lots of veggies, no flavor with the same aforementioned spongy beef. In a few words, the food is delicious! I can only speak for my dish tho. The General Tso chicken was very good, i like it spicy, it was spicy. The wonton soup was delicious too. We got it delivered, it arrived 45 minutes after the order was placed. We've been looking for a Chinese restaurant in Metairie and happened upon via Facebook. I got the shrimp fried rice. It was good and I would get it again. The shrimp were cooked beautifully and there were a lot. I can attest to someone else's review about it not being greasy. Very happy with the food, the prices, accuracy of my order, and the speed of delivery. I've had a hard time finding a "complete" Chinese place close to home. Usually the rice, lo mein, or entree is great with the others entirely lacking but not tonight. After a very long hard day, I read all the post and was excited to get our food to go. We ordered Beef & Broccoli Spicy with extra rice and extra sauce. Large Egg Drop Soup. Large combination Fried Rice. Order of Egg rolls. Order of fried wontons. Chicken and Broccoli extra sauce with egg roll. First off I called when we got home and did speak to someone who said we could bring the food right back for a refund or replacement. We do not live close by and no one wanted to go straight back. I told them I would put the un eaten food in the Refrigerator and bring back on the next day. I was given an attitude and could not understand what they were saying. Our order was 1/2 wrong and cold. Instead of Egg Drop Soup we got Wanton Soup. Instead of combination fried rice we got shrimp fried rice. No extra sauce with Beef & Broccoli. Being mindful of the pandemic we are all living in, my love for people in this industry has grown so I hate to complain. Since I wanted to return the next day, I was told that we needed to speak to someone else. I gave my name and number twice but here we are a week later, and we threw the food away, and have still not heard from anyone. It looks typical, with the bright lights, illuminated picture menu above the counter and the long list of food combinations printed front and back on the 11x14 menu sheet. But unlike most of the similar looking places, it has some unusually delicious food! Try the House Special soup and the Triple Delight. The only reasons I'm not giving them a 5 are because I didn't really like the chicken in the mei fun & the noodles to meat/veggies ratios in the mei fun & beef yat gaw mein were a little heavy on the noodles for me. I was very dissapointed. I ordered "Lemon Chicken" When I got my food there was not so much as a sliver of lemon on my plate. SO therefore I asked for some lemon where they commenced to tell me they were out but they had some lemon juice and asked me if I would like some lemon juice. I told then that would be fine. They brought me back a cup which felt really full and I tasted it and it was lemonade!!! Do I look dumb, I'm American and I think I know the difference between lemon juice and lemonade!!! Hello!!???
