Crispy Sesame Chicken with Shrimp Fried Rice
    Keke T.

I've already been back, it's only been 1 week. I ordered the honey chicken and shrimp fried rice for my first visit. It did not disappoint me at all. It was piping hot, fresh to order, savory, sweet, sticky, and had a little hint of garlic. The shrimp fried rice was surprisingly fluffy, flavorful, and the shrimp were a little juicy. I also ordered the fried dumplings with this meal and had crab rangoons. The dumplings were so juicy and were paired with a dark, rich and salty green onion soy sauce. It only took a little of the soy sauce to add to the dumplings. They gave me a large container, but honestly I would have been fine with the same size container as the Rangoon sauce. Speaking of, those were so creamy, not a huge crab flavor, but had a lovely crunch and were pocketed perfectly so I could pour the sweet and sour sauce inside for the perfect bite. Second visit I brought a guest and they loved their food as well. They ordered the General Tso chicken with Lo Mein noodles instead of fried rice. It was a small upcharge but totally worth it to them. It came with large chunks of white meat chicken, fried crispy, and tossed in a spicy but tangy sauce. They liked it a lot. I ordered the Sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice and crab rangoons ...again. I enjoyed this meal as well, but the honey chicken will be my favorite. I also requested a little spice added to mine chicken and it added a little kick. The service was nice and patient. The wait is understandable because they have constant orders coming in so an average 20 minute wait time. The dining area is always kinda empty when I come, only one or two tables. But the decor could use a little upgrade, maybe paint, wallpaper, or a new look on the inside. But they have done very well with everything and would love to see this restaurant grow. Also, there is shared parking between two to three other business nearby and is located off the main road of Williams Blvd. so don't drive too fast or you will miss it.

Hadn't been here in years but had an envie for their eggplant with pork and garlic sauce. The All Day Special comes with 2 huge portions of shrimp fried rice and an eggroll. It was better than I remembered. Still enough for 4 meals. Even the eggroll was excellent. And check out the prices!

The food was good but the service was terrible!!!! The lady taking the take out orders had a horrific attitude and what was the worst part was I had never had their food before so as I was asking questions about the food based on TikTok videos she was so short and cutting me off. I don't care how good your food is, if your service is trash you will never get my money again!!!!!!

I was nervous to eat her due to the mixed reviews. We wound up doing our meal as takeout. My husband got the imperial pork with combo rice and cho cho. I got the orange beef with combo rice and crab Rangoon. And we added an order of egg rolls. The good: everything but the egg rolls! The pork and beef were delicious, nicely fried and had good flavor. The rice was also delicious and it tasted fresh. The Cho Cho and Rangoon were very good. The only miss was the egg roll. It was SO much cabbage and had an off putting slightly sweet and cinnamon taste. I won't hesitate to order from here again!

Did a Google search for Chinese food near me and this place came up. Delicious food at a great price. The portions were huge! Enough leftover food to last a few days. The service was great although there were only 2 tables occupied, including mine. However, they do major take-out business. Constant take-out patrons and food delivery people.

My husband and I love the shrimp fried rice here. We get it with extra shrimp and extra eggs but it's worth the additional price.

After 5ppl they charge you a gratuity fee. Which that's fine, but at least work for the gratuity fee. I feel like waiters that get gratuity feel as though they don't have to work because they have already gotten my tip. Also they charge you $15 if you bring a cake into their establishment. Also I DID not like how they treated a group of "black" young men that came into the restaurant. The food was absolutely disgusting.i hate swai fish. And if your restaurant isn't serving "REAL" catfish at least advertise that on your menu. The fries were hard and overcooked. The egg rolls were semi decent. Definitely would not recommend this place of business

We got a bunch of appetizers: calamari wings, garlic, fries, and garlic noodles, and they were all great though the garlic noodles were probably my least favorite. Crawfish wise, we ended up getting 5 pounds of the Viet Cajun and 5 pounds of the EZ blend along with sides of corn, sausage and potatoes. Everything was great and had a lot of flavor, and we were pretty surprised by the size of the crawfish. I really enjoyed both flavors though if I had to pick, I would say the Viet Cajun was better and had more flavor. My table had four of us and we weren't able to finish everything. Overall, this spot was delicious and I love all of the variety. I love variety and options, so I will say that I wish there were more flavor options for the crawfish!

New the old esplanade mall, is this restaurant ready to serve you some good seafood (they also have non seafood for ppl who don't eat it). Promptly greeted, we walked in to a nice and clean spot. I ordered two Crawfish Taylor, and when I checked my food before leaving, I noticed that both of them contained only four crawfish tails. Had I not checked before leaving, I would have been stuck with food that was clearly not worth what I paid. When I brought the issue to management's attention and requested a refund, the manager/owner was rude, racist, dismissive, and very unprofessional. I was initially told that I could only receive a refund for one crawfish, despite both orders being unsatisfactory. After standing up for myself and insisting on a full refund of the $33.95 I spent, the situation escalated unnecessarily. What was most upsetting was being threatened with having the police called on me simply because I was requesting my money back for food I was unhappy with. I left feeling disrespected and unfairly treated. Based on my experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to others. Your response is completely inaccurate. The owner is not telling the full truth about what happened. She did threaten to call the police, but she never did because she knew she was wrong in how she handled the situation. My cousin did not use any profanity until after the owner snatched the bag of boiled crawfish from us and threw it back at us. No one ever stood on a chair, and several details in your statement are simply false. The issue started because we paid for food that was not prepared as advertised and were dissatisfied with the quality. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the owner became rude, confrontational, and disrespectful. Customers should not be treated that way when they have a legitimate complaint. We are sharing our experience as it happened, and we stand by our account of the events.

We met a good friend of ours here for lunch. His wife and US, would regularly go n out to eat with each other. It was a normal routine. His wife passed away suddenly about 8 months ago and he hasnt gone anywhere that whole time. She was my best friend. It was a pleasant surprise, when he agreed to have lunch with us. We decided to go to Zea's on W. ESPLANADE. It was obvious they were busy as most of the lot was full. The first thing we noticed was the new interior renovations. It was definitely brighter and open since the last time we were here. We finally got sat at a table, wasnt a long wait. Our server, (young lady named Taylor) was our server. She was very friendly, inviting personality and made you feel welcomed. We started off with drinks and the Hummus appetizer. Never seen a big appetizer like this, it was perfect for 3 even 4 ppl and very good. It was served with warm pita slices. I remember they served cucumber slices upon request, not sure if they still do that. The lunch entrees were Almond chicken salad for my wife. Our friend ordered the Thai rib plate and I had the Crispy duck. As far as I know, my food was excellent, the duck was well cooked and moist. The Thai ribs are usually always good, no doubt that has changed, I stole one of my friends ribs. It went to good use. My wife said the main salad was good, but she feels the chicken itself lacked flavor, but since this is my review, only my opinion matters, lol. The Thai ribs were very good. I love the corn grits and the zea potatoes. For me, I feel this was my best meal I've had all year so far. Would I come back? Heck yeah. You buying? I overall, love the change. The new menu and decor is a hit for me.

However, the food was sub par for the price. The hummus and pita Appetizer was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed. We had the Honey Island Chicken which was good but not $17 good. It came with basic, undercooked and unsalted fries. The daughter had the Philly Steak Panini which didn't look appealing and she said it was overly full of mayo which is mixed in with the meat. Our granddaughter had the Balsamic Salmon which looked so pretty and was delicious but it was almost $30 and came with 2 basic sides. The hamburgers were cooked well but still only came with a basic side and the fries were awful. The atmosphere was okay but a bit dark. Thankful we had the gift certificate because we all decided this was a one and done!
